Alojamientos vacacionales en Strandabyggð

Wir haben unseren Aufenthalt in Jón Ingis Cottage sehr genossen. Die Hütte ist sehr schön und funktionell eingerichtet. Auch die Hot Tub haben wir sehr genossen. Jòn Ingi hat schnell auf unsere Nachrichten reagiert und war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit.

A place to get away. Beautiful scenery. This was an excellent choice to use as a base to explore the west fjords.

Were stayed in Iceland for almost 3 weeks. This was our favorite place by far. Felt right at home, the farmhouse was well suited for our group, clean and spacious. We enjoyed the spectacular views and surroundings, walks, & saw my first Northern Lights here, it was magical. Also had fun playing ping pong in the barn. A great location for exploring the Westfjords.

Eydis est l’hôte la plus bienveillante et accueillante que j’ai pu avoir. Notre arrivée a été très perturbée à cause de la météo (vent violent et chutes de neige) , le papa d’Eydis nous attendait à la maison pour s’assurer de notre arrivée. La maison était parfaite, et très propre. Eydis a toujours été disponible pour répondre à nos questions et nous a même proposé de rester une nuit supplémentaire sans frais à cause de la météo qui a empêché notre départ. J’espère avoir l’occasion de recroiser un jour votre chemin !

Es ist magisch dort, ich war mit meiner Frau und meinem erwachsenen Sohn, Larus hat uns extrem freundlich in Empfang genommen und gleich mal Feuer im Kaminofen gemacht (wir kamen gegen 23 Uhr an und blieben drei Nächte). Am nächsten Tag gab es tolle hiking Empfehlungen und Einkauf Tipps. Und dann noch die Sammlung der Blaubeeren…es gab in der Summe nichts zu beanstanden, alles war wie erwartet und besser…danke Larus und deiner Frau für die magische Zeit

La petite « ferme » de Kristin et Anna est tout simplement géniale ! L’environnement est magique. La luminosité du lieu, tout comme les changements rapides de météo transforment en permanence les paysages ! Un véritable tableau vivant. En partant de la ferme vous pouvez faire de magnifiques randonnées au cours desquelles vous croirez être seuls au monde ! Pour ne rien gâcher, la maison est très fonctionnelle et très agréable à vivre ! Elle était surtout hyper propre ! Une spéciale dédicace au « guest book » qui est très bien fait. Nous y reviendrons sans aucun doute, si possible en hiver.

Absolutely beautiful house in the country with amazing views. Hosts were very responsive and answer questions that we had before we arrived. House is very clean and the only neighbors were sheep lots to do in the area, including some amazing trails to run on. Thanks for such a great stay

Warm, quiet, comfortable studio apartment over looking the western fjords. I very much enjoyed my stay here and the place was in a beautiful (albeit isolated) location. There's a petrol pump and small store in the village and a very slightly larger store and another petrol station in Holmavik nearby. If you're into hot tubs they have some overlooking the fjord near the entrance to the village which are for public use. All in all, I'd highly recommend Sunna's place and the location.
