Absolutely incredible stay! The villa was stunning, offering a clean, relaxing atmosphere that made it the perfect getaway. The staff were exceptionally friendly and cooperative, ensuring every need was met with warmth & professionalism. Daily housekeeping and laundry services kept everything pristine throughout our stay. The pool was fantastic—large, well-maintained, cleaned daily, and boasting a stunning ocean view. Swimming there was an absolute delight! The villa also has stairs leading directly down to the ocean For activities nearby: - *Scuba diving:* One Ocean Dive Centre in Matemwe offers cool diving experiences. (10min driving) - *Horse riding on the beach:Zanzibar Horse Safari at Neptune Pwani Beach Resort & Spa with other water activities (15min driving) - *Dolphin & Snorkeling Tour near Mnemba Island We are genuinely grateful to Susan, Ali, and Doris for making our stay in Zanzibar memorable, and we highly recommend this villa to anyone looking for an amazing escape!

ici tout est OK ! un emplacement comme il y en a peu je pense , ayant voyage en avril , nous étions proche de la plage privée ! l équipe est au top ! le breakfast en face de la mer est copieux ,préparé et servi avec soin par Rama et son équipe. Vous pouvez également leur faire confiance pour ce qui serait de l ordre des divers centres d intérêts.Poir ma part bois avons nage avec les dauphins ,organisé par haji ,un membre de la team .Vraiment cool et d un bon rapport qualité prix ! Entre une mer magnifique et un village authentique ,favorisant les échanges avec les locaux .franchement au top !je recommande sans hésiter !!!

Our family of five had a beautiful time at Kacho House in Jambiani. The house was neat and clean and accommodated our family quite well. Habibu was a wonderful host and the beautiful Dada (sister) came every morning to cook breakfast for us, complete with fresh fruit, eggs, chapati, and freshly squeezed juice~it was delicious! My son had eaten something at a restaurant and had a bad case of food poisoning. We asked the Dada to go to the pharmacy and get something and she came back with a handful of fresh green herbs she picked from the garden. She made tea with the herbs and he was much better after drinking it. There is nothing like nature's pharmacy! Thank you again Dada for helping us! The beach was lovely, serene, and pristine, and the villagers were so nice and welcoming. The Maasai men and other locals were there selling their gorgeous beadwork, wood, leather, and other crafts, and we also found a few arts and crafts shops as we walked around the village. It was a wonderful trip!

We had an amazing time at Liza’s villa! It’s a very beautiful house, especially the pool area and the rooftop. Liza provided a lot of information about the house and the area beforehand, which was appreciated.

Die Villa ist mit sie sehr viel Stil und Liebe eingerichtet. Die Besitzerin Patrizia sehr hilfsbereit und wirklich stilvoll. Die Gemälde an der Wand, die Bettwäsche aus Italien, die Details in der Villa und dann der Koch, der denn noch das Frühstück vorbereitet – es ist einfach nur zum Wohl fühlen und super!

Dolphin House is a truly unique place and experience. The position directly on the beach is priceless - I could never get sick of the view! There's a good balance of home comforts and the privacy of the house with still feeling connected with the outside, the community and just generally being in Zanzibar. We spent all of our time in the outside space - rotating between the sofas, the loungers on the beach, the table and the pool. It's incredibly well thought out and comfy! Rudy and his local team were always on hand. The chefs, in particular, are exceptional - while you are handy for plenty of restaurants and bars, we enjoyed every breakfast and most of our dinners at the villa. When you have the best spot on the beach, there was very little reason to leave!

I decided to live in this guesthouse and not a hotel, because I really value family life. Exactly this wish and demand for my trip, to live together with locals and to make many contacts, was met by the Rafiki guest house. It is one of the cheaper accommodations in Zanzibar because it is not a comfortable hotel - but the focus is on being together, which I really appreciate. If you would like to establish close, friendly contacts quickly and easily, this guesthouse is really perfect for you because all the guests who live there and the owners of the guesthouse are incredibly open and helpful. William even picked me up from the airport and organized excursions and tours for me through acquaintances and friends. In the evenings we ate and partied together in the kitchen under open skies :) For me, this is the unique aspect of Rafiki Guesthouse: It creates honest and lasting friendships!

Zanzilywood is good place for those looking peaceful surroundings in an isolated location. The grounds include a pool and store with all the items you need. The apartments are very spacious. If anything is missing, the hosts are quick correct the situation. Moreover, the host can arrange for your transportation both near and into Stonestown. I was satisfied with my stay.

The apartment is perfect for walking to restaurants and enjoying the beautiful beach. Different to most airbnbs we’ve stayed at - Not totally private as it is more of a family hospitality feeling rather than hotel style airbnb. We appreciated the local recommendations and daily clean, comfortable bed, breakfast, meals on request, and the onsite general manager. Everyone was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was delicious and flexible for timings. It is Zanzibar so expect some small hiccups such as short power/wifi/water cuts - a small price to pay for paradise.

Our stay was truly exceptional. From the moment we arrived, we were greeted with warmth and professionalism, making us feel like we had stepped into a boutique hotel. The space was impeccably clean, thoughtfully decorated, and filled with little touches that made it feel like home. The amenities rivaled those of a high-end hotel. Yet, there was also a homely charm: a cozy living area, a fully equipped kitchen, and amazing service with local tips that made the experience extra special. The attention to detail and responsiveness made everything seamless, from check-in to check-out.

Es war ein toller Urlaub mit vielen hilfreichen Tipps für Ausflüge in der Umgebung. Das Haus ist komplett neu und wird liebevoll von Lisa und ihrem Mann gepflegt. Alles war sehr sauber und das Frühstück gesund und nahrhaft. Wie man es sich wünscht :) In 5 Gehminuten ist man an einem tollen Naturstrand, der nicht von vielen Touristen belagert ist und man hat seine Ruhe. Mit dem Mopedtaxi kann man jederzeit in die Stadt, bzw. sich auch Sachen ins Airbnb liefern lassen… das ist wirklich ein toller Service. Wenn man einen längeren Ausflug plant, sind die Gastgeber stets zu Hilfe einen Wagen mit Fahrer zu organisieren. Im Airbnb ist keine Kilmaanlage, was aber nicht stört, da im oberen Stock stets ein guter Luftstrom durch die Deckenventilatoren + Balkon entsteht. Ich würde jederzeit wiederkommen.

Ottima vista, alloggio bello e nuovo, spazi esterni sull’oceano. L’unica pecca è che la location è in mezzo al nulla, ove non esistono nemmeno i servizi minimi. Comunque noi siamo stati molto bene

We staid in here with a family for a month. We took apartment in the first floor with beautifull view, terrace is really big and windy so we almost didn’t have to use air con, which was good for the kids. Stuff was very friendly and Prisca is amazing! Tell her what you need and she will arrange anything :) Amazing! Apartment was clean, maybe needs some repairs but in general we recommend this place to stay, especially with children as it is a little bit private but you can easily reach all the bars in the area :)

Chambre propre et spacieuse. Hanan était très accueillante et réactive. Nous avons passé un super séjour dans ce logement qui est au centre de Stone Town. Nous avons pu tout faire à pieds.

Пребывание в Kipinda запомнилось хорошими завтраками и отличным гостеприимством. Интерьеры комнат выполнены в этническом стиле, все просто, но при этом вполне эстетично. Для охлаждения используются потолочные вентиляторы. Расположение удобное, внутри старого города.

Close to everything . Somewhat hard to find, poor signage on the building and the front doors were locked. Luckily our taxi driver found a side door with a doorbell. Staff was friendly and helpful.

This listing is part of the Dafu hotel - a great spot nearby to all the fun of Stone Town. The room was great, cozy, and comfortable. There isn't so much of a view per se unless you check out the rooftop - but for the price and location you can easily explore the city and all the rooftop dining it has to offer. 5 mins to the beach, lots of restaurants nearby for good food. Finally, Glory and the staff are fantastic! I initially planned to stay 7 days but it felt like home thanks to their kindness and great suggestions throughout that I stayed nearly 2 weeks. Would recommend and would stay here again!

We stayed at Khalid’s place for two nights, and it was a good experience overall. The location is right in the heart of Stone Town, making it perfect for exploring. If you have a rented car, parking is available about 5 minutes away by foot at the market for 2€ per day, as the streets in Stone Town are too narrow for cars. The room matched the photos and included AC. It’s simple, but it was sufficient for our two-night stay. Breakfast is served on a charming rooftop terrace. The staff at the hostel were very friendly and accommodating. They even allowed us to safely store our luggage for a few hours after check-out, which we appreciated. All in all, it was a pleasant stay and great value for the location.
