This was our first visit to clean and quaint Dullstroom and we would certainly recommend visiting and staying in this accommodation. The Owners have gone to great lengths to ensure that there is a Battery Back-up in the event of Electricity Load Shedding and which provides a more than adequate supply for most things needed. It is in a lovely position - one street back from the centre of Dullstroom, within walking distance, and yet we even had a Deer under the beautiful trees which surround the property. The Apple tree's branches in the garden were laden with Apples. It is an older, Character filled home which has been tastefully restored to a high standard, is spacious and very comfortable with three Fireplaces adding to the homely atmosphere. There is a variety of good quality Appliances, including a Dishwasher, and full entertainment in the form of Wi-fi, Netflix, DSTV Streaming and a Games room. This is certainly a case of you get a lot more than expected and well recommended.

Renee's place felt like home away from home. We really loved the idea of the fireplace which kept us warm as soon as we checked in during a rainy evening. The host was responsive, kind and very understanding and even went out of their way to make us feel welcome. We would definitely recommend the place to anyone visiting the area.

Elize is a very responsive heartwarming and caring host. She attended to us and any questions we had very quickly. She is the kind of host that makes you feel welcome and valued as a guest - like we’re old friends! Thanks for this peaceful and tranquil experience. Her place was fantastically spacious and extremely well equipped and beautifully decorated! We did not want for anything.

Rueby’s place was amazing, it felt like we were in the middle of nowhere because it was so peaceful. All we could hear were birds singing and our laughter. The home is stunning and spacious with a beautiful patio and garden where we spent most of our time. The host was proactive, friendly and so warm. We’ll definitely be back

Magdalena and her husband are fantastic hosts. The house is a farmhouse, but with lots of amenities. We felt safe and Rajendra care of. They even drove 1.5 hours from their own house when they found out that there was unexpected load shedding to bring us their generator. They are super stars. Dankie.

Great location, near shops and restaurants. Lovely residence and well equipped kitchen and beautifully decorated interior. Sandi's communication was fantastic and we would recommend her place to anyone visiting the area. Easy check-in and check-out instructions. Load shedding was not a problem as the off-grid batteries supplied enough for our needs. The kids loved the garden area as well. Would love to stay at Sandi's when visiting Dullstroom again.

Everything was as required . Place was at a nice , neat / clean and at peaceful location . Maryanne was helpful and provided lots of local inputs on the places to visit to near by . This helped us a lot . We really had a good time .

Hester is such a great host. Her impromptu assistance as well as communication was really impressive. Me and my best mate wanted to spend the crossover away from the city and its chaos, a break from everything and just have a boys trip. Honestly it was like a dream come true, the place itself is breathtaking. Truly one of the best ones we've been to.

I hit a bit of a snag owing to the gps device which ended us in an off-road rugged and bad terrain. Called my host on the provided details and got help to get back on track. Overall, absolutely amazing experience, everything about the place was awesome. I would definitely recommend it to anyone looking for some quiet time or an excursion away from the tussle and bustle of the city!
