A lovely rustic place close to everything you would need to enjoy Kangaroo Island. We loved the beach front and the character of the cottage. The best part was the enclosed courtyard, which was the selling point upon booking and didn’t disappoint. We brought 3 small dogs with us and left them in the courtyard whilst exploring the island for a whole day and it was the best set up for us!. Although the cottage was very no frills, it still felt very comfortable and relaxing.

Fantastic place, beautiful surroundings. The shack was very clean and had everything that you needed. Step off the grass onto the beach. We would not hesitate to return.

We had a very relaxing stay at the house. The location was great with relaxing views and sensational sunsets. The outdoor area was well protected from the sea breeze and we spent most of our time there. The kayaks were great fun. The dog enjoyed himself too! The house was very comfortable and had everything we needed. It could have done with dishwashing detergent and another tea towel as we did most of our meals there. We have already recommended the property to our friends. We were fortunate to have great weather. Overall, a very enjoyable holiday. Thanks !

This place was even better than the photos, super clean, stylish, and in a perfect location. Loved the little touches like fresh coffee and local recommendations, it really made the stay special.

Es war ein sehr entspannter und schöner Aufenthalt in dem Penthouse von Kevin und Yvonne und Millie. Wir haben uns unglaublich wohl und aufgehoben gefühlt. Die Wohnung selbst ist sehr modern und liebevoll eingerichtet, absolut sauber und die Gastgeber waren sehr freundlich und hilfreich mit Tipps. Danke für den wunderbaren Aufenthalt bei Euch, wir möchten Euer Penthouse zu 100% weiterempfehlen.

This is truly an amazing escape - no neighbours, no noise, just a beautiful home in a serene location. The sunsets are PERFECT, wildlife and if you are lucky go to the beach in the morning and watch the dolphins only a few metres from shore. If you want the escape to recharge and relax this is it.

Thank you Jason and Halina, we had a very enjoyable Easter break in your lovely home at The Pines. We enjoyed some lovely walks along the sea front, enjoyed your comfortable outside area eating meals out there, our boys made great use of the basketball hoop! It’s definitely one we’d love to return to. Absolutely felt like home away from home. Thank you for being so hospitable and making the whole experience easy for us.

Great spot in great location. Unfortunately there were some civil works being undertaken in the boat ramp car park during our stay which meant it was quite noisey with trucks and diggers from early morning. In saying that would definitely stay again once works are complete!

Eva's place was nice and modern. The selection of amenities was nice and the location is very convenient to walk around the town of Kingscote.

Unbelievable magical beach location the pictures don’t do this amazing place justice. Everything you need incredible hidden restaurant next door in a massive Fig Tree. Port Lincoln Fishing Adventures absolutely amazing fishing charter Gavin and Alex were fantastic went home with an esky full fish . Again word don’t describe the senery breathtaking remarkable beautiful don’t do this place justice. If you have been my advice is just go … Enjoy

We have stayed at Casa Willyama on a number of occasions and have always loved our time there. The house is always well presented and has all the facilities to make the stay comfortable. It is in a fabulous location opposite the beach and within walking distance to the national part. We look forward to our next visit.

Great location with a fantastic view. Could do with a few upgrades but overall I would have no issues coming back again. Both host excellent service and always answered my questions. The view is the best on the island in my opinion.

What a stunning place! Just perfect and the sunrises and sunsets from the deck are just spectacular. We truly enjoyed our stay! Comms and check-in was smooth, the place was clean and had all the amenities listed and just loved the simple, Scandinavian design. Highly recommended to anyone looking for a relaxing getaway with beautiful views

Beautiful home on the ocean front. Very close to some amazing beaches. This airbnb was very spacious and felt just like home. Can’t wait to visit again soon!

Our experience at Shylies was outstanding, and we are already looking forward to our next visit, which is a reflection of the high quality of the accommodation. Located in close proximity to the ferry port, the property is easily accessible, and upon arrival, we were impressed by the peaceful and secluded surroundings. The accommodation exceeded our expectations in every way, and we particularly enjoyed relaxing on the deck with a bottle of wine, observing the local wildlife, and even spotting a few kangaroos. The property is exceptionally well-appointed and maintained, with a warm and welcoming atmosphere, and the bed linen was of exceptional quality. A highlight of our stay was the stunning private beach, accessible via a short walk from the property, which we enjoyed visiting every evening. We would like to thank Kate and Andy for accommodating us at short notice, and we look forward to returning soon.

Marcus and Lara's place is a great house in an absolutely stunning location - you'll never get sick of the beautiful view from every room in the house. We were a group of 4 (1 grandparent, 1 parent and 2 kids) and the layout and amenities were perfect, we had plenty of room and everything was thought of. Kingscote is in very easy walking distance (even for little legs) and the tidal pool is a nice stopover on the way!! We saw so many birds and animals it was terrific! Marcus was incredibly responsive, answered all our questions and provided us great suggestions on things to do. Kingscote is lovely with a supermarket and petrol station and was a great base to explore the whole island. Highly recommend staying here you'll love it!

Thank you to Sol team for very comfortable stay. Although it rained we could all spread out and do different things within the accomodation. And when the sun came out we could enjoy the beach.

The most stunning home with amazing views! The kitchen has everything you could need. Extremely comfortable beds with gorgeous linen and towels. Excellent location so close to Snellings beach. We Highly recommend!

What an incredible getaway at Gabi and Jim’s accommodation! This place was worth every single penny and my group had the most wonderful stay. It felt luxurious from the first moment we pulled up to the property. The photos do not do this location justice. The house was spacious, it had every single possible amenity we could need, the kitchen was big, the bedrooms were comfortable, the outdoor space was fabulous to relax in. The pool was a winner though, heated, an incredible view at sunset, watching kangaroos hop by. We really couldn’t have stayed at a better place, it was such a lovely treat. Thank you for such a relaxing weekend, it won’t be forgotten and I would absolutely stay again.

A property and host that delivered everything and more. The location is fantastic, Rachel can not be more helpful and went over and above to ensure my wife had a great birthday. We can not say Thankyou enough. Kangaroo Island was a fantastic few days away if nature, sightseeing, food and wine, gin & beer. Only hard part was leaving.

The most wonderful home! After 6 months of travel, this was the nicest place to stay and relax. Gorgeous view of emu bay. Within minutes we were driving on the beach. The outdoor shower came in handy! So relaxed and luxurious. Great kitchen including kids cutlery and plates which we much appreciated traveling with a 1yo and 3yo. The host was very helpful in providing a high chair. Also the laundry room was well equipped. All felt new and clean. Very nice outdoor area with good bbq. Watching the sunrise and sunset from this property was a treat.

Our third stay at Doyle's, and each time it feels like a home away from home. Beautiful surroundings, peaceful bush noises, modern amenities - this place has it all! So much space and plenty for everyone to do! The Starlink internet is SUPERFAST!! Thanks for that upgrade lol Special mention to Craig and Rachael, the wonderful custodians. They always go above and beyond to make sure we have everything we need. This time they wrote a beautiful card for us that really touched our hearts! ❤️❤️❤️

Fantastic home away from home in a stunning location. Very peaceful, private, comfy and relaxing. The house had everything we needed and more, than you would expect. Super comfortable beds, we all slept very well. Michelle was great to deal with, every step of the process was a breeze. The drive on beach at Emu Bay is one of the best we have visited, and not too busy despite the hot weather and long weekend there were no crowds and it’s great to set up for the day at the beach a stones throw from the house. Lots of fish were caught by the kids off the jetty while we watched from the house deck directly across the road, we saw penguins, pelicans and wildlife galore, this truly is a remarkable house and location. Highly recommend, we enjoyed our stay so much we’re already planning another. Thanks Michelle for your hospitality it was one of the best holidays we’ve had.
