Robert and his family offers a great home located on Balboa Island that is next to the boardwalk. Enjoy moments at kid friendly beaches, watch families pass by on their boats or paddle boarding. The area is very quiet and Robert and his family were so accommodating to every need. We would definitely love to visit this location again!

Stay here if you are visiting SD! The house is comfortable, clean, and kid friendly! Wendy/co-host was super responsive, when we had any questions. You are in a quiet neighborhood, so it was easy to just fall asleep. Thank you for a wonderful experience!

Had a wonderful stay here for a bachelorette party. Even with 6 people there was plenty of space and the backyard was just beautiful. We felt completely secluded in the backyard and there were so many places to sit and enjoy the views. Completely worth the price.

Hands down the best Airbnb we’ve stayed it. Five of us flew in from Dallas and Tennessee and we arrived super early, David let us know as soon as the house was ready and we were able to checkin early. Everything was amazing. So comfortable, lots of extras like laundry soap, seasonings etc. we didn’t need much at all. The pool was pristine and enjoyable. 100% recommend this home and host.

My husband, my son, and I were impressed by Sherry’s excellent hospitality and attention to detail. She checked on us before arrival to make sure our check-in went well. The accommodation was immaculately clean and tastefully decorated inside and out, providing a cozy and comfortable retreat throughout our stay. Sherry went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed, and her prompt communication made the entire experience seamless. The location was fantastic, offering easy access to the beach, which was 2 blocks away, as well as SD’s nearby attractions or amenities. We enjoyed morning walks along the beach. Overall, we had a wonderful time and would highly recommend this gem to anyone looking for a memorable Airbnb experience in San Diego!

Matts place had everything and when I say everything, we mean everything even things I had not even thought of. It had premium toiletries, foldable chairs to use at the lake, condiments, Q-tips, everything we needed and then some. The location is close to the Lake Roberts, made coming and going easy. Matt is a great host, can't wait to go fishing again soon and staying here again!

John & Lizzy’s place, and their hospitality, is truly outstanding. Leading up to our stay they were extremely responsive, provided recommendations for private chefs and local activities which we utilized. Upon arriving John greeted us and gave us a thorough tour to cover anything we would need to know about the house. We had 16 staying for a long weekend and everyone had a comfy bed to sleep in, plenty of restrooms and an abundance of space to hang out in - this place is truly massive. The kitchen is stocked with everything you could ever need and has TWO fridges. The pools were pretty cold to swim in, but we utilized the hot tub every day which was the cleanest airbnb hot tub I’ve ever seen. This is in a gated community that you feel incredibly safe in which was important for a girls trip in Mexico. The guards even drove us to dinner down the street at Splash one night! All in all, our expectations were exceeded. Kudos to John & Lizzy for making our experience special, we will be back

Everything was welcoming and thoughtfully put together, and we truly appreciated the unique atmosphere. Alice was a fantastic addition that we loved and appreciated. Darbi’s quickly became our favorite place to eat, and Porter Mountain Stables was a fantastic local experience we’d highly recommend. We also really appreciated that the home was dog-friendly—it made the trip even more enjoyable for our whole family. Your place is special, and we’re so glad we had the chance to stay. We’d absolutely love to come back again!

Our entire stay was amazing here! We used the massage therapist and also their chef to make our trip even more relaxing. Was a little disappointed the jacuzzi never worked for us, but hopefully they can get that fixed soon. I’d definitely go back! All of the staff here (there’s someone available 24 hours) we’re amazing and respectful, made it much more enjoyable

We loved this place! 7 colleagues after a conference, it was absolutely the perfect place to relax and unwind. Adam and Nikki were uber friendly and responsive, would recommend it highly.

Wonderful peaceful location with a great Mexican restaurant right around the corner! The outdoor spaces are especially nice and we really loved that it was pet friendly. Hosts were very responsive and friendly. It was our second visit and we will certainly look to book their place again in the future.

Our stay in Big Bear at Jon's cottage was nothing short of perfect for a work/play trip. The house is super comfortable and highly functional. We deeply appreciated all the amenities such as the bikes, ping pong, hot tub, snacks, coffee, full spice rack, ice in the freezer, great Wifi, and central heating. The location is great being close to the ski areas and the three grocery stores in town. Our dog loved spending time on the deck looking for squirrels and chipmunks. We look forward to returning for another family trip someday.

Karin was a great host! The cottage was as nice as it was described and so close to the beach/restaurants/activities. I highly recommend this one!

We absolutely loved our stay. The onsite amenities were so amazing. We biked everywhere. We even fit in a surfing lesson. At PB surf shop down the boardwalk at Pacific Beach. The fireplace was great because it was a little chilly at night. We even watched the DVD Zorro for family movie night while eating pizza from a pizza place just around the corner. The next night we biked to play volleyball on the bayside after a trip to the San Diego Zoo and got take out from Craft after roller coaster rides at Belmont Park. We highly recommend this place and definitely plan to come back here.

Staying here was absolute magic. My family of 5 felt very well rested and we annoyed all the amenities I look forward to coming back to this cabin where we made so many beautiful memories

My friends and I absolutely LOVED this cabin! It felt so homey and cozy. Perfect place for a couple to getaway and enjoy some peace and quiet. I initially looked for a place that would be easier to drive to, especially during winter. Although I missed the heavy snow this time around, it’s good to know this cabin is not uphill, so it makes the driving a little easier for someone who isn’t used to driving in snow. Everything is fairly close! Restaurants are at most 15 minutes away, connivence stores are even closer, and if you’re looking to ski or snowboard, Bear Mountain is only 15 minutes away as well. Very great spot for a very relaxing stay in Big Bear.

Such a cute and cozy cabin! It was exactly what we were looking for—peaceful, clean, and full of charm. The hosts were amazing and super easy to communicate with, always quick to respond and helpful throughout our stay. Would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend to anyone looking for a relaxing getaway!

My family and I absolutely adored the cabin. As soon as you walk in you can tell you are right at home. Very comfy recliner couch and very comfy beds. Kitchen is very open and spacious for cooking at home. Parking spot right by front door or there is side parking. Would recommend staying here 100%!!

Dream come true! Tamara suggested we listen to music from the 1930s-40s, and that really sealed the ambience. I've always wanted to take a vacation to the past, and I did! Along with comfortable beds, bathrooms, etc. Lots of extra touches. Loved every second! Would highly recommend!
