Lovely property in the suburbs of Colombo! Perfect for a small group of friends and family of 4-5 people. Extremely spacious rooms with well thought out furniture and fittings and to top it all off a large patio to unwind and chill.

It’s a good place with a very beautiful balcony same as described by the host, Rashmika was very friendly and helpful throughout our stay.

Wir waren 3 Nächte in der Unterkunft, es war alles top. Hatten nichts zu beanstanden. Die Unterkunft ist sogar noch viel schöner als auf den Bildern. Schöner und sauberer Pool, sowie saubere Küche und Badezimmer und Schlafzimmer. Die Kommunikation war super und haben auch sofort einen Flughafentransfer über ihn buchen können. Auch wenn die Unterkunft sich in einer Seitenstraße von einer viel befahrenen Straße befindet, hört man von dem Verkehr nichts. Können wir nur weiterempfehlen.

A perfect place to stay just outside the busy centre of arugam bay. A bit far to walk but easy in a tuk tuk or a rental car to the many surf spots or the centre. The house is beautiful and peaceful with areas to relax on the ground floor with friends. The highlight of the booking and what really makes it worth the money is Mita - a local friend of Nicola’s who looks after the property during the day and, if you ask nicely, can help you with anything you need. He made us an amazing bbq in one of the evenings and prepared the best breakfasts for the group every morning. Thank you Nicola and Mita! We will definitely be back soon!

Lovely stay. Location is outstanding, straight onto the beach. Sashi - the house keeper - is as kind as it gets and cooks amazing dishes. We celebrated our daughter's birthday and she came with a gift, not only for the birthday girl but also her sister... So kind.

The place is very clean, tidy and spacious. It’s close to the city and religious sites which was very convenient. Simon, the caretaker is very friendly and always around if you need anything. Would definitely recommend

Nilmini was so helpful, attentive and accomodating! We also really appreciated her attention to details, like bottled water in the fridge, fresh soap, towels and linens, and toilet paper. The caretaker Jagath was also very attentive and gave us lots of space.

Absolutely LOVED our stay here! The apartment was tastefully decorated and well maintained. Our hosts were incredibly responsive and friendly, always going the extra mile to meet our expectations. The facilities that came with the apartment were great, especially the pool, which was a highlight of our stay. The security measures in place made us feel completely safe, and the reception staff were pleasant and helpful throughout our visit. Location-wise, it couldn’t have been better—so close to everything we wanted to see and do. The view from the property was great, adding to the overall experience. Overall, a fantastic experience. We highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a comfortable and memorable stay. This will definitely be our go-to place in Colombo for future vacations!

Located in a less busy, on a hill and a more local area but walkable distance to the main road, public transportation, Uber, pickme, supermarkets and restaurants. Totally sweet, friendly, professional and kind hosts. They warmly welcomed me and my wife to the property and helped carry our bags to the apartment upstairs. We instantly felt like we were at home. Apartment is modern, newly built and squeaky clean. We loved the view from the balconies as well as from the rooftop. Nobody bothers anybody and we thoroughly enjoyed our privacy here. Everything was included in the apartment for a comfy stay. Air-condition was excellent and there was ample hot water in the bathroom. It will be nice to have a duvet/comforter because it can get chilly at night. The best part is the pool which was so refreshing during hot days. It was clean and well maintained, almost felt like a natural pool. Our stay was excellent and would love to come back. Thanks for hosting us. Good luck guys.

Amazing host and the space was extremely homely. It was picturesque and exactly as the photos advertised. The amenities were functional and the space in itself was well maintained and clean. It was an Eco-friendly abode. It was a calm and peaceful stay. A little away from the hustle and bustle but the distance to other restaurants and shops were pretty close by and walkable. Transportation was also easily available.

I was in Colombo for work, followed by a vacation with my family. Romesh's place was perfect for my 2 weeks of work in Colombo. The apartment is centrally located close to several restaurants. Romesh and Janak were very responsive throughout my stay. Check in was very easy and Janak welcomed me and oriented me to the place. The apartment is very well maintained with AC in all the rooms, and a good WIFI connection. The kitchen is well-equipped with a fridge, microwave and all the implements for cooking and eating. The location is secure and I had no concerns about safety or security. Hotel Janki is close to the apartment and I had several meals there and use of the swimming pool for a small fee. When I am in Sri Lanka, I normally stay in my own house, which is currently rented out. Romesh's place was as good as staying at my own house. Thank you.

I experienced a excellent stay at Sudam's place. Sudam was very helpful and friendly. The apartment was nice, clean, and well-maintained. It was equipped with every essential item, including a washing machine, refrigerator, gas cooker, TV, water dispenser, clothes rack, hair dryer. Everything was properly cleaned and well-maintained. I reached well past midnight and Sudam was there to welcome me to ensure my stay is comfortable. Sidam also allowed me to checkout a bit late as my flight was late at night, which was very helpful. This place is just walkable distance from Colombo-Kaduwela main road and Thalehene bus stop. I used public transport for most of my visits to Colombo, so it was very conformatable to me. A lot of restaurants and supermarkets are available just in walking distance. I would highly recommended for everyone looking for a comfortable stay in the Baththaramulla-Thalahena area.

Staying at this apartment felt like a true home away from home. Moving out of our childhood house was a big transition, but this space made it easier. It was modern, spacious, and immaculately clean, with every detail thoughtfully arranged. The kitchen was well-equipped with charming dishes, making even simple meals enjoyable. Both bedrooms had lovely balconies with breathtaking views, perfect for travellers. One of the most special sights was a serene Buddha statue on a nearby rooftop, glowing beautifully at night. The host was incredibly kind and accommodating, helping us extend our stay when needed. On checkout day, an emergency came up, and he graciously allowed us a late checkout. His hospitality truly made a difference. Whether you're visiting for a short stay or need a comfortable transition space like us, this apartment is an excellent choice. We highly recommend it to anyone looking for comfort, convenience, and a touch of warmth during their stay.

Good place. Good privacy while still being nearby humans, since houses are close to each other, for proper mental health. I prefer to just be left alone, so it’s good place, while if you have a problem the host is extremely responsive. Sri Lankan style studio apartment perfect a for a young and single individual. Good location, as long as you have money for rides. Near gym and food walking.

We stayed at Sanjayas place for four nights. The family was super kind and helped us with local advice such as restaurants and must-sees close by. They arranged transport to the house and again when we left. Their hospitality was warm and made us feel welcome. We would definitly recommend this place to others.

Where to start, what a great host, cozy place, felt serenity and place like more than home. Since i booked n approached her, she was very responsive , allowed early check in. She has decorated each n every item in the apartment with special attention and theme. Right from main door till all rooms, beach theme pillows, wall decoration, special souvenirs from across the world, beach theme kitchen cabinets. The place is just few meters from beach, great views of the sun set and beach around and roof top pool of course is a main attraction.. I am thankful to her for being such a great host I would not even think to go anywhere else next time i am in Colombo .

Nidaal’s place is in the center of Colombo, it was easy to reach everything we wanted to see by short Tuk Tuk rides! The place is very up high and you have great view over the city. The check is process is a bit complicated, but Nidaal explained everything well! The beds are comfortable, the air condition works perfectly! Nidaal is a very communicative host, she answers quickly and has a lot of tips!

Had an epic few days relaxing in Nilaveli. What better place to unwind than the penthouse with amazing views, super clean and all the amenities one would need. Everything here was spectacular. There is even a lovely little beach restaurant next door that has excellent food. Beach was super clean and Pigeon Island was so close. Best views from the deck off the apartment. Sad to leave - Thank you Elaine and Rory!

We enjoyed the house very much! It was such a luxury place with everything we needed and the swimming pool and the gym was nice one too! I would recommend this house to anyone for sure!

We had a great few days at Adams’s place. Brilliant host and easy checkin, really close to town and all amenities. Great for surf spots and we saw a few elephants out of town. Oh and importantly for me, the AC is utterly silent. Would definitely stay again 😎

A very chic apartment in a quiet (but well located) street in Colombo. Clean, well furnished and absolutely ideal for a short stay in the city! Chathurangi is a great host - flexible in terms of check in/check out times, responsive, and happy to provide local recommendations. Highly recommend!
