Die Unterkunft ist traumhaft. Wir haben uns unglaublich wohl gefühlt. Das Haus ist beeindruckend und bietet viel Platz. Direkt vom Pool aus kann man zum Meer gehen und die Ruhe am Strand genießen. Im Meer baden kann man leider nicht, da die Strömung zu stark ist, allerdings hat uns das überhaupt nicht gestört, da es den Pool gibt und wenn man möchte kann man in ca 1km Entfernung im Meer baden gehen. Dort haben wir auch Schildkröten gesehen! Wir würden jederzeit wieder kommen!

Mit Abstand die absolut beste Unterkunft die wir jemals hatten. Schon von der Kontaktaufnahme bis hin zum Check out einfach alles super. Charith und Tharaka sind die Perlen des Hauses. Wir wurden während unseres Aufenthalts liebevoll umsorgt. Charith überraschte uns jeden Morgen mit einem leckeren Frühstück und ging sogar auf die Sonderwünsche der Kinder ein. Die Villa wurde täglich gereinigt, frische Blumen standen auf dem Tisch... einfach liebevolle Detailarbeit. Es ist ein super gemütliches offenes Haus, mit großen Räumen ohne unnötigen Kram, aber viel Liebe zum Detail. Die tolle Aussicht vom Pool über die Reisfelder und gleichzeitige Privatsphäre spricht für sich. Wer sich hier nicht wohlfühlt, dem kann tatsächlich nicht mehr weiter geholfen werden. Zusammengefasst: Urlaub vom feinsten ab der ersten Minute.

Beautiful villa with abundant space, verandah-style living, a great pool, and spotlessly clean. A short tuk-tuk ride away from Galle Fort and 10 minutes to the beaches of Unawatuna. The villa itself whilst in quite a busy part, enables a highly peaceful and relaxing holiday. We spent just over a week there and the caretaker (Fayas) went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed, and the chef (Rizwan) cooked us numerous and varied breakfasts, allowing us to sample delicious traditional food we’d not had before. Check in and out during very early morning due to flight times were also accommodated. Overall we had a great holiday at the villa and would highly recommend.

Gads Villa is a truly magical place. The gardens are exquisitely landscaped, and the giant Velvet Apple tree is really a wonder to behold. The pool has a shallow section which is perfect for little ones, or for adults to lounge in. The kitchen is huge and had everything we needed (important when traveling with 4 youngsters!). The bathrooms are likewise huge and very prettily set out. Beds are comfortable and the fans were sufficient to keep us cool at night. The neighborhood is very quiet and safe, a few minutes tuk tuk ride into the main part of town. I personally found it very convenient to have yoga and a little spa within a few minutes walk. Secret Beach is also only a short walk away. Sahan and team were super helpful, and breakfasts were delicious. All in all a fabulous stay.

Great location, and more than I expected. We had a great time and the host was really good at checking in on us and making the whole trip smooth. He taught how to turn on the POOL JACUZZI!! It was amazing! The bed sheets and towels were brand new or felt new! The space was spotless. We walked right across to the beach and had some amazing food! Surprise is mentioned the hosts name and you get some great service. Everyone seems to know him! The backyard is really quiet and you can have a lovely drink in the Gazebo overlooking the pool. This was a great find! I would recommend this for single and family visitors! Sri Lanka is amazing and the host is a true island hospitality king! We felt safe in the house and the neighborhood. Great WiFi and fully stocked kitchen! Bathrooms were spotless and great shower pressure. We loved it all and wished we stayed longer.

Gizelle was a super-host and actively helped us to plan a fortnight adventure in Sri Lanka 🇱🇰 providing lots of tips and advice on what experiences and excursions there were, with an exquisite level of detail. We used many of her recommendations and were never disappointed. The villa manager and personal, professional chef Chaminda -was beyond attentive, always supporting and helping us with advice, and made the most AMAZING meals! We felt very spoilt and we loved the extensive range of meals and cuisines provided. A truly lovely and special man. All journeys and travel were arranged for us, and Kosala was an attentive driver for us, always telling us about the local attractions and sights with his extensive knowledge. The children adored him, and our son Leo would love to chat to him whilst he cleaned the pool. We came for my 40th bday where Chaminda decorated the villa for us and organised a cultural evening which was outstanding, and Gizelle even bought me a birthday cake 🥰Thank

Chatura was a great host in that he went out of his way to educate us on pending power cuts, offering us the opportunity of early check in and late check out. He was an amazingly considerate host and offered a comfortable house including a well-equipped kitchen. We enjoyed the private pool so much. There was one safety concern especially for groups travelling with kids however, which is the lack of a pool screen and a sloping pool edge which was slippery.

I recently stayed at White Villa and had an absolutely wonderful experience. The apartment was exceptionally clean and well-maintained, which made our stay comfortable and enjoyable. The host, Lalith, was incredibly friendly and allways willing to help. It was a pleasure talking with him. The location of the Villa is ideal, making it convenient to explore the surrounding area. The atmosphere of the place was pleasent and welcoming. Overall, we had a fantastic stay and would highly recommend White Villa to anyone looking for a great place to stay close to Balapitiya.

El alojamiento es tal y como se ve en las fotos. Increíble, muy limpio y cómodo. Nishendri es muy amable y atenta, respondía rápido a los mensajes y facilitó mucho nuestra estancia en Colombo. Muy recomendado.

We had a great stay at Bandula’s villa! Bandula was so helpful and friendly. The place was clean and perfectly located. We would 100% stay here again if we came back to Sri Lanka

Haben 3 Nächte bei Josephine verbracht. Die Unterkunft war super schön, geräumig und hatte eine tolle Dachterrasse. Außerdem waren die Empfehlungen klasse - hier hat Josephine ein nettes Dokument zusammengestellt, das man sich unbedingt durchlesen sollte. Außerdem war der Preis sehr fair. Ich kann sie nur wärmstens empfehlen. liegt etwas abseits vom Strand aber es gibt einen kleinen, süßen Einkaufsladen direkt ums Eck und ein super leckeres familiengeführtes Restaurant (Humbhaha Ahangama) fußläufig. Für die meisten anderen Sachen kann man besser ein Tuktuk nehmen. Hier solltet ihr unbedingt die Empfehlung aus dem Dokument beachten, Anoura war einfach super :)! Mein einziger negativer Punkt ist, dass es etwas in der Nähe der Bahnstrecke liegt und daher manchmal etwas laut sein kann - uns hat das aber nicht gestört. Sehr zu empfehlen!

Jis mus ir vežiojo už gerą kainą, ir davė daug gerų patarimų apie lankytinas vietas, taip pat kokiu metu jas lankyti, o ko vengti. Tai buvo labai naudinga. Jis nuomoja dviračius dvigubai pigiau nei kiti. Padėjo rasti ir motorolerių nuomą, kai mums to reikėjo. Bandula labai gerai kalba angliškai. Rekomenduoju į jį kreiptis Polonaruvoje. Telefono nr prašykite būsto šeimininko, čia neleidžia juo pasidalinti.

I have wanted to stay at this property for years, and I'm so glad we finally got the opportunity to visit! A beautiful, thoughtfully decorated home where your backyard is literally one of the most beautiful beaches in the country. A great place to stay with kids. Location is central with lots of amenities close by (if you can drag yourself out of the ocean). We were treated to a delicious breakfast every morning in the courtyard. The house manager Kasthuri was fabulous and helpful. Kian & Janah are clearly experienced Air BnB hosts, and communication was great. Would stay again!

Have just spent our 2nd stay here. For us, the garden is why we returned, which is kept very tidy by Velu. So peaceful to relax in during the day, with plenty of varied wildlife to entertain you during the day, especially the chipmunks. Our bedroom was comfortable, bed linen clean, a/c & ceiling fan kept it cool. Bathroom/ shower room ample size and more than satisfactory. Kitchen had everything as described, which includes the washing machine. We spent 99% of our time outside either in the garden or under the spacious veranda. No issue with WiFi. Keels supermarket 4 min walk away which has everything you might need. Good local food outlets, and we have tried them all in the past 2 years with no problems. Best find was Crepe Runner which is well worth the 10min stroll. Felt safe and secure with Velu on hand for anything you might need, together with Chaminder who will pop round at least twice a day, to check that everything is fine. Would have no hesitation staying again.

Maya and her husband are wonderful, warm-hearted and friendly hosts who supported us with everything from the very first second! The apartment/ house is located in a very nice and calm neighborhood which we enjoyed a lot after a busy day in the city. We would always come back!! 🤗

Ein perfekter Aufenthalt – absolut empfehlenswert! Die Unterkunft war genauso wie auf den Fotos – sauber, gemütlich und liebevoll eingerichtet. Die Lage war ideal, ruhig und dennoch gut angebunden. Besonders gefallen hat mir Zugang zum Strand. Raj war super freundlich, hilfsbereit und immer erreichbar, wenn wir Fragen hatten. Der Check-in verlief reibungslos und unkompliziert. Besonders die beiden Haushälter/innen waren grandios. Die waren so freundlich und haben einen tollen Service angeboten. Vielen Dank nochmal an Mani & Kawshika Ich würde jederzeit wiederkommen und kann diese Unterkunft wärmstens empfehlen – vielen Dank für die tolle Gastfreundschaft!

We loved our stay here. It was very clean, was exactly like the pictures and the host, Danushaka was so responsive, helpful and friendly that it really levelled up our stay. We had a great time heading to the beach and surfing minutes from the house! My only comment that I think people should be aware of is that while there is excellent air-conditioning in the bedrooms, there is only fans in the communal areas, which meant they were pretty warm!

Siluna’s place is a hidden gem. Surrounded by nature in a peaceful village, it’s the perfect escape. The caretakers made me feel like part of the family, and the food—fresh from the garden—was absolutely amazing. They also gave great local tips. Don’t think twice, just book it!

An incredible stay! The accommodation was fantastic—stylish, comfortable, and set in the perfect location with stunning views over the water. We loved that it was just out of the main strip, offering peace and privacy while still being close to everything. Communication was excellent throughout; the hosts were responsive and helpful. Highly recommend and would definitely stay again!

Nous avons beaucoup apprécié ces quelques jours chez Nilu. Jolie maison, joli jardin, Nilu et sa famille on été très accueillants. Idéalement située, à quelques minutes de kabalana beach dans un quartier légèrement en retrait de l’effervescence de la côte. Merci !!

We had a great stay at Azeers and Leann's place! They were incredibly friendly and went out of their way to make our time as comfortable and enjoyable as possible. The accommodation itself was spacious, beautifully furnished, and very well equipped — the kitchen had everything we needed, including a washing machine, which was a great bonus. The location was perfect: just a few meters from the beach, yet quiet and secluded, offering total relaxation. We would definitely love to come back!

Our stay in Mountain Breeze was perfect! Shenuka and her son kindly picked us up from the bus and warmly welcomed us to their place with a lovey drink. The rooms were all spacious and comfortable, with good AC and en-suite bathrooms. The area felt very secure and safe. The hosts went above and beyond, helping us to organise a day tour around Kandy. This was brilliant and covered all the main sights for a great price. We highly recommend to anyone staying in the area! Thank you Shenuka!

So happy to have found this gem in Jaffna! We were a group of 3 generations from Canada originally from Jaffna. From the beginning Hamilton and his house manager Lavan were extremely responsive and helpful with all our many questions and requests. The place met all our Canadian expectations- very comfortable and clean and set up like a North American home. Lavan was like a family member from the moment we arrived, gave good recommendations and always responsive whenever we had questions or needed help. We took advantage of the meal options he provided (as mentioned on the listing) - very delicious home cooked food at a very reasonable price. There are signs leading up to the house so was easy to locate. Laneway is narrow but that is the case for most streets in Jaffna so no fault to the property. My entire family young and old thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will be recommending this place to our family and friends back home who are looking to come to Jaffna. Thank U Hamilton & Lavan!
