The most enjoyable stay you could hope for in Colombo. Great for a digital nomad set up or as a base to explore the city. Dileepa is a legend and after welcoming you will help you with anything you might need during your stay. Particular highlights are the gym/pool/clubhouse area, the mall (2 min walk away), the friendly neighbours and the nearby restaurants (5 min tuk to culture colombo for possibly the best Sri Lankan food in the city). Would recommend a long stay to really sink into life in Colombo

We stayed at the Wara for 3 nights and we definitely wished we could have stayed for more. The house is clean and spacious, beautiful and modern and the beds are some of the most comfortable I've ever slept in. The place has everything you need for a comfortable and practical stay with air con on both rooms, as well as ceiling fans, a tv in the living room, a shower with doors to prevent water from spilling over into the rest of the bathroom, a washing machine and a fully equipped kitchen. The house's location is great, near the main road, yet far enough to make it very quiet, more so because it's almost at the end of a dead end road, which makes it very private as well. The place also has a nice balcony facing a lush garden. Only a short walk away is a lovely long stretch of beach which is perfect for long walks. Overall our stay at the Wara was well worth it, and as other guests have said it's made all the better by Nipuni's kindness and warmth and her helpful suggestions.

The apartment was clean private and very peaceful. I felt right at home. The location is close to everything in Colombo. Danukh was extremely helpful, always responsive and friendly. Perfect host. I would definitely recommend the apartment and would stay here when I am back in Colombo.

Exceptional stay! The Airbnb was clean and beautifully decorated, and equipped with everything we needed. The host was incredibly friendly and accommodating. A perfect home away from home! Would recommend to anyone visiting Jaffna.

This is an extremely cozy house! It is located a little bit deep from the main roads, so it is silence and calm here. I enjoyed here with birds, palms, nature sounds. I was surprised with small quantity of mosquitos here, but for your safety hosts provide you with mosquito net. Oh, God, how it's wonderful to sleep with open doors and windows here - it's smell, sounds..perfect! And to be honest I even didn't use a fan during night's, because the temperature was absolutely comfortable. The villa has rather good WiFi and if you are a remote worker it will suite to you (the day temperature is also good when you open windows and use fan, there is no necessity in AC). Hosts are absolutely cute and caring about you! But villa is located rather far from any shops and beaches (apr. 10 min by bike) - so bike or tuktuk are absolutely necessary here, and there is not a problem to reach this location. Having traveled the entire coast from Galle, I do not want to change this place of living.

Der Aufenthalt im Yellow House war überragend. Es liegt in einer ruhigen Seitenstraße mitten im Grünen. Und schon 300m runter befindet sich der Strand und die Hauptstraße von wo aus man sämtliche touristischen Ziele erreicht. Aber auch vor Ort gibt es schon reichlich zu entdecken. Z.B. Kajaktouren oder der Fischmarkt und die Anlegestelle der Fischer. Mein persönlicher Lieblingsort war die Terrasse, wo man wunderbar die Seele baumeln lassen und die Vielfalt an exotischen Tieren und Pflanzen im Garten genießen kann. Tipp: pflückt Euch dazu eine frische Sternfrucht vom Baum :) Apropos Essen. Das solltet Ihr auf jeden Fall um die Ecke bei Eurem Host und seiner Familie auf der Dachterrasse einnehmen. Besser bekommt Ihr es nicht. Gerne werden dabei Eure Wünsche berücksichtigt. Und auch sonst wird alles gemacht, um Euren Aufenthalt so angenehm wie möglich zu gestalten. Einfach fragen. Ich wurde aus Colombo abgeholt und habe jede Menge gezeigt bekommen. Gerne wieder :)

We had an incredible stay in this beautiful apartment. The location was perfect, offering breathtaking view, a peaceful atmosphere and sounds of nature. The apartment itself was spotless, well-maintained, and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. What truly made our experience unforgettable, however, was the hospitality of our hosts. The mother and daughter were incredibly kind and welcoming, going above and beyond to ensure we felt at home. They prepared all our meals, which were by far the best we had in Sri Lanka – delicious, homemade, and made with so much love. They were also a huge help, always cheerful and ready to assist with anything we needed. Their warmth and generosity made this stay exceptional. Highly recommend this place – the hosts truly made it feel like a home away from home and wish us to come back one day!

This was my second stay at the apartment, and I can't say enough good things—especially about the host. My first visit was amazing, and my boyfriend and I made beautiful memories there. So for his 30th birthday, I wanted to surprise him by booking the same place. After months of planning, Adrian (The host) was incredibly helpful throughout the process, ensuring I had everything I needed. I’ve come across many Airbnb hosts, but none compare to him. my boyfriend and I had the best time and made unforgettable memories. As for the apartment, Havelock is a very safe area—even when I was alone, I felt completely at ease. The home is thoughtfully stocked with everything you might need, so I never had to go out of my way for anything besides food. It’s spotless, secure, and ideally located next to a mall, with easy access to shops, restaurants, and cinemas. Honestly, even if I tried to be nitpicky, I wouldn’t have a single complaint. Adrian truly made this experience special.
