I am English staying with young family.. 6 of us a laf minute booking. Much to appreciate from RUPUL as a Barrister at the Bar in Kandy/Colombo and country’s high Courts . I’m a forever returning visitor. The sitting room so stylish and crammed with not just law material! The breakfast was excellent and very accommodating for taking 2nd one with is to sight see early. Es war ein sehr schöner Aufenthalt, die Aussicht war traumhaft. In der Unterkunft kommt ab und zu Lassie vorbei und schaut nach dem Rechten, man fühlt sich jederzeit sicher und es sind immer die Hausmeister ansprechbar. insgesamt ist es ein tolles Anwesen mit fürsorglichen Gastgebern + Team! Das Dinner und Frühstück sind empfehlenswert und ich durfte sogar mit dem Kayak auf dem See fahren. Ich habe es sehr genossen und kann die Unterkunft allen empfehlen die die Natur lieben. Ein paar Ameisen & Geckos gehören mit dazu, das war aber kein Problem und hat nicht gestört. Danke für diesen malerischen Ort!

Beautiful garden view and perfect location near the beach. This place is ideal for families, as well as for those who enjoy yoga, morning rituals, or simply a peaceful retreat. It’s located on the quieter side of Weligama Beach, which makes it perfect if you're looking to relax away from the crowds. The owner is genuinely friendly and helpful, making the stay even more pleasant. Highly recommended for anyone seeking a calm and cozy spot close to nature and the ocean.

The villa is in a beautiful surroundings, overlooking a rice field. The villa is very spacious with swimming private pool. We thouroughly enjoyed out stay here. Christa was very helpful. The helper onsite is really very helpful, and responsive. Only negative I would say is it was far from attractions and main city. Beach is around 4 kms and getting a transport here is a challenge. Booking vehicles in advance to move around could help. The approach road is narrow around 100 mts from the main road.

The villa is designed in an old British style with complementing interiors (chandeliers, fire place etc.), with all modern facilities. It had a well equipped kitchen and a huge bathroom overlooking the forest and tea garden. The overall condition of the villa was superior. Facility manager - Mr. Nalin, ensured that we were comfortable and helped us plan our itinerary during our stay. Our family is vegetarian so he ensured that the food we wanted was ordered from the Indian restaurant in the market and delivered to our villa. We got the breakfast of our choice and quite tasty. My son is a special child so we had a bit of a problem in his mobility. Hence, he arranged a tuk tuk for us which took us wherever we wanted to go and dropped us back as per our convenience. We look forward to visiting Luxe Wilderness again and this time with our extended family if time permits...

Our stay at this bungalow was nothing short of amazing! The property is spacious, well-maintained, and offers breathtaking views, making it the perfect escape from the city. The presence of friendly dogs added a warm and homely touch to the experience. Sanjoy, the caretaker, was extremely helpful and ensured we had a comfortable stay. One of the highlights was the bathtub, which made for a relaxing retreat after a long day. Given the amenities, space, and hospitality, this place is an absolute steal for the price. Such a special and memorable place. I will remember the sounds of the jungle at night most of all! We did the river excursions, floating breakfast and elephant safari all of which were amazing. Delicious food too!

Ein perfekter Aufenthalt – absolut empfehlenswert! Die Unterkunft war genauso wie auf den Fotos – sauber, gemütlich und liebevoll eingerichtet. Die Lage war ideal, ruhig und dennoch gut angebunden. Besonders gefallen hat mir Zugang zum Strand. Raj war super freundlich, hilfsbereit und immer erreichbar, wenn wir Fragen hatten. Der Check-in verlief reibungslos und unkompliziert. Besonders die beiden Haushälter/innen waren grandios. Die waren so freundlich und haben einen tollen Service angeboten. Vielen Dank nochmal an Mani & Kawshika Ich würde jederzeit wiederkommen und kann diese Unterkunft wärmstens empfehlen – vielen Dank für die tolle Gastfreundschaft!

We traveled as a group of 6 to Villa Acres Green for a one-night getaway. The place was truly beyond our expectations and the pictures don’t do justice to the place! The property is spacious and gives you a sense of seclusion from the rest of the world. The vast garden is scattered with lots of trees, a pond and a well maintained lawn with benches and hammocks for a nice evening chill. The pool is much bigger than you’d expect and was clean. The tiles in the pool are starting to break so a little caution would be advised. We opted to get our food prepared at the property. The BBQ dinner was excellent, but the Sri Lankan breakfast (kiri bath) was only average. It’s possible that the food maybe a hit of miss in our experience. The rooms were nice; spacious and clean! The A/C cooled well which was more than appreciated since the days were scorching! All in all, we had a fantastic experience at the property and would highly recommend it to anyone travelling to Hikkaduwa.

The tree house is so special. Built around mahogany and mango trees and surrounded by forest. It was lovely to hear the birds in the morning. Breakfast and dinner were huge spreads of delicious Sri Lankan food. Neranga and his parents were the best hosts. We shall return

Nous avons beaucoup apprécié ces quelques jours chez Nilu. Jolie maison, joli jardin, Nilu et sa famille on été très accueillants. Idéalement située, à quelques minutes de kabalana beach dans un quartier légèrement en retrait de l’effervescence de la côte. Merci !!

Beautiful villa with abundant space, verandah-style living, a great pool, and spotlessly clean. A short tuk-tuk ride away from Galle Fort and 10 minutes to the beaches of Unawatuna. The villa itself whilst in quite a busy part, enables a highly peaceful and relaxing holiday. We spent just over a week there and the caretaker (Fayas) went above and beyond to ensure we had everything we needed, and the chef (Rizwan) cooked us numerous and varied breakfasts, allowing us to sample delicious traditional food we’d not had before. Check in and out during very early morning due to flight times were also accommodated. Overall we had a great holiday at the villa and would highly recommend.

Dom otoczony zielenią i z pięknymi widokami, pyszne śniadania robione na zamówienie z karty, panowie którzy je przynosili, codziennie sprzątali po śniadaniu, wszystko zgodnie z opisem oferty. Właścicielka choć z daleka dała nam odczuć, że nad wszystkim czuwa pytając się, czy czego potrzebujemy, oferowała swoją pomoc, my nie skorzystaliśmy, ale zakładam, że gdybyśmy jej potrzebowali mogliśmy na nią liczyć. Dodatkowo dostaliśmy w cenie możliwość późnego wymeldowania, tzn. wydłużyliśmy dobę do godz. 21.00, było małe zawiorowanie, bo musieliśmy się przenieść do Willi obok, ale zaangażowanie obsługi i pomoc w przeprowadzce zostały przeprowadzone w sposób, jaki bym oczekiwał. Amazing house with even prettier garden! You have a place for yourself, away from the street but close enough to the supermarket (2 mins) and the beach (1,2 km). The place is calm, private, you can really enjoy your stay in peace and calm. For this amazing price I don't think we could find a better place to stay!

I’ve stayed in tens of Airbnbs around the world, but Nanditha’s place is best of the best. Especially in Colombo, where I’ve lived long-term in several other Airbnbs, her place is far far better than any other places. Even if you come across cheaper options with great reviews, I would still strongly recommend staying at Nanditha’s. Her place is impeccably clean, stylish, comfortable, and secure. Everything I needed was already there. The room is in a separate building, offering 100% privacy, and she even arranged for someone to collect the garbage from the downstairs kitchen every morning. Linens were changed and the place cleaned weekly, which made it feel like a high-end serviced apartment. She offered me milk rice, dhal, or healthy juice on weekends, just out of generosity. Above all, Nanditha herself is incredibly helpful and humble. Unlike many others in this business, she’s not driven by money. I got much more than what was described.

Die Unterkunft ist traumhaft. Wir haben uns unglaublich wohl gefühlt. Das Haus ist beeindruckend und bietet viel Platz. Direkt vom Pool aus kann man zum Meer gehen und die Ruhe am Strand genießen. Im Meer baden kann man leider nicht, da die Strömung zu stark ist, allerdings hat uns das überhaupt nicht gestört, da es den Pool gibt und wenn man möchte kann man in ca 1km Entfernung im Meer baden gehen. Dort haben wir auch Schildkröten gesehen! Wir würden jederzeit wieder kommen!

Our stay at Wigis villa was wonderful. The villa itself is located in a perfect spot allowing you immediate access to the beach as well as the Main Street with all its cafes, shops and restaurants, on the other side. The villa is a haven of tranquility, in the middle of the hustle and bustle of the town. Inside, the house is fully equipped and very well kept. The garden was beautiful and our children had many hours of fun in the lovely pool. Lastly what really made it great was the excellent team on hand. The team prepared beautiful breakfasts each day, together with lunch and dinners on request. Nothing was too much trouble for them. Thank you for a wonderful stay. We hope to be back!

We had the most wonderful stay at Etamba House. This Geoffrey Bawa inspired property is beautiful and even better than the photos suggest. The rooms are huge and tastefully decorated with an elegant nod to Sri Lanka's past. The bathrooms are inside/outside with beautiful showers and plenty of space. The service from Michael and Shehan was exceptional. Breakfast is different each day with a set menu but they're flexible to your requests. the dinner that Talakshi prepares is wonderful (the portions are huge!). Can't say anything bad about this place. Go and stay there. Enjoy this beautiful home and the peace and quiet that surrounds it.

Perfekte Unterkunft mit einem super Team vor Ort, in allen Belangen fünf Sterne. Alle Ausflüge vor Ort haben wir mit dem Manager Mahinda geplant, auch hier hat alles perfekt geklappt. Herzlichen Dank für diesen schönen Urlaub!

Henry and everyone at Villa 80 was extremely lovely and welcoming. The place is a great find, really good location, amazing pool, the list goes on and on. We were visiting for a friend's wedding and was so glad Henry could accommodate us. Would highly recommend and return. Thank you Henry!

Tout simplement fabuleux ! Villa extrêmement paisible, au milieu de la végétation luxuriante et des oiseaux face au fleuve. Très belles prestations, même au au delà de nos attentes. Il faut absolument que je mentionne Pushpakhanth, le gardien de la villa qui vous emmène partout en Tuck Tuck, toujours présent à la moindre demande et sachant se faire discret. Et la chère Gajanthusitha, cuisinière hors pair, et très gentille. Les échanges avec eux ont aussi permis de mieux connaître les us et coutumes du Sri Lanka. J’ai également pu bénéficier, grâce au réseau de Nimal, à des cours de yoga quotidien à la villa de très bonne qualité avec Mahesh Kodikara (qui pratique aussi la méditation) et à de merveilleux massages Ayurveda avec une masseuse qui se déplace également. Le tout dans un cadre extraordinaire. Ce séjour fait parti de nos plus beaux voyages.

Great location, and more than I expected. We had a great time and the host was really good at checking in on us and making the whole trip smooth. He taught how to turn on the POOL JACUZZI!! It was amazing! The bed sheets and towels were brand new or felt new! The space was spotless. We walked right across to the beach and had some amazing food! Surprise is mentioned the hosts name and you get some great service. Everyone seems to know him! The backyard is really quiet and you can have a lovely drink in the Gazebo overlooking the pool. This was a great find! I would recommend this for single and family visitors! Sri Lanka is amazing and the host is a true island hospitality king! We felt safe in the house and the neighborhood. Great WiFi and fully stocked kitchen! Bathrooms were spotless and great shower pressure. We loved it all and wished we stayed longer.

Sathish’s property is in a very nice peaceful location and a pleasant 20 minute walk to Turtle beach. The main shopping area of Unawatuna is about 4 km away and easy to get to by tuk tuk. The swimming pool is very refreshing and the house had everything our family of four needed for a very enjoyable stay. Highly recommended especially if you prefer a peaceful setting.
