We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the cabin, which was clean, comfortable and exactly as pictured. With wooded areas on both sides and the lake behind, it felt very private and immersed in nature. It was fascinating to sit by the lake or watch the changing scene through the glass doors, with cardinals and other birds at the feeders, squirrels running around, and the movement of the water or trees in the breeze. Next time we’d bring binoculars to get a closer look at the different breeds of ducks swimming by. There is no shower and the deep soaking tub would have been difficult to use at our age, so we just managed without it for our short stay. Everything else was provided for a relaxing getaway and Robert was always quick to respond to any questions we had. Thank you, Robert!

I loved how easy check in was, how clean & big the place was, & the location. We enjoyed it so much & plan to return. There was a playroom that my girls absolutely LOVED! Going on a trip with kids can be stressful, but they had an absolute blast. Thank you Christina for having us!

We enjoyed the great view from the porch and easy access from the dock for fishing and boating. Inside was very comfortable and open making you feel relaxed. Family enjoyed playing games. Temperature control with central air was excellent. The laundry and kitchen had everything you needed and was well organized. Over all a great visit to the lake. Look forward to returning some day.

Family goes to a different lake every year for New Years. This one doesn’t disappoint as they provide plenty for group to do as far as games and out door space. They also are very well stocked! While we visit in the winter, I imagine this would be a great summer place as well.

I had a wonderful stay! LaDonna was an amazing host. I was looking for a relaxing place to disconnect, and I found it. Definitely recommend staying here, would be great for family or solo trip. Keeping this location in mind for future stays.

We had an amazing time with family over the Thanksgiving holiday. The house was spacious and had tons of extras and fun things to do. We never got bored. We prepared a full Thanksgiving meal in the kitchen, which was large and stocked with everything we needed and more. There were plenty of toys, games, and scooters for the little ones. They enjoyed a boat ride and rode their bikes around the circular neighborhood road. We even met some neighbors who invited our boys to jump on their trampoline and loaned us a cup of sugar. The area is quiet and safe. Inside the property, once the driveway gate is closed, we had total privacy and lots and lots of space to run around. The kids loved taking scraps to the chickens and collecting eggs for breakfast. The adults loved the spectacular view and that the kids were always occupied. We had kids ranging from 9 months to 7 years old. Alise is the definition of a super host. She always responded quickly, kindly, and had great advice.

Robin’s Nest is a great place to experience Toledo Bend! Beautiful water front and dock area to tie up your boat and also fish from. Inside is spacious and home feeling. Although we brought many kitchen utensils, we were able to find what we didn’t bring in the fully stocked kitchen. Be warned that the Pollen is crazy around Mid March time! We will definitely be back to experiencing another family vacation! Thank You

Jessica was a fantastic host! Communication was great throughout stormy weather that caused electrical outage at her property. Would stay again without hesitation.
