This place is beautiful highly recommend I went away from my 26th birthday and I’m so glad that I picked this place such a calming getaway from 40+ hour work weeks the cabin is immaculate in the woods and extremely beautiful and relaxing. Ksenia is also really nice and super responsive and helpful. we honestly didn’t have to reach out much because she already thought of it all!

The cabin was really nice with comfortable accommodations and everything you need. There is a road that runs in front of and behind the cabin that has quite a bit of traffic on the weekend as the road is an entrance to a park/campground and it was a holiday weekend. This was a benefit to us though as we love to hike and could walk to or drive within a couple of minutes to several really great trails! Having the heated in ground pool for my daughter was amazing and when we had some issues with Bees the owners handled it right away. This is definitely a cabin in the woods by the water so come prepared with bug repellant. We did venture out to some local wineries and a lavender farm/winery but would have been just as content to enjoy the cabin and the property! Overall we really enjoyed this place and would totally go back when we are visiting the Harrisonburg area.

Wonderful place! Would definitely recommend to people who are looking for a more quiet area to relax. Host are quick to respond and are very helpful. Would definitely recommend a 4 wheel drive for easier travel to and from the cabin.

Overall this is a great place to stay with your family for a good adventure. The hosts are very responsive and accommodating to your needs. There is everything you could possibly need at this property to make your vacation worthwhile!

I loved Shelley's cabin. It was perfect for the two of us and our two dogs. The kitchen had everything we needed, and the bed was comfortable (including the pillows!), though we didn't use it I was impressed with the firewood being on the front porch with the ability to send payment by phone to pay for it as that is something that can always be frustrating to go and get when traveling sometimes. The hot tub was hot and relaxing although it was missing all the headrests haha. We took a tour of Trans Alleghany Lunatic Asylum on this trip but would consider coming back just to stay at this cabin for a weekend getaway! Thanks so much for everything!

I would highly recommend this property for a peaceful getaway weekend! The cabin itself is bright and beautiful and the host was incredibly responsive. Stargazing in the hot tub was absolutely the highlight!

This cozy home was perfect for a long weekend in the Shenandoah. Yulenis was super responsive and quick to address any issues we had. Check-in was easy and the property was very peaceful and well kept. It’s in the middle of the woods so prepare for bugs! The only issue was the hot tub looked like it hadn’t been serviced prior to our stay but that was quickly addressed!

This location was fantastic, plenty of room and things to do. Very peaceful. The host had clear directions on how to make this stay as smooth as possible, and was very communicative ! My friends and I had a fantastic time and are looking forward to revisiting sometime in the near future. Thank you.

Very good location close to Bryce resort and many wineries within a short distance. Definitely check out Cave Ridge Winery! Annie was super responsive and very helpful. The hot tub was a nice touch! Loved the fire pit and swing. It was great to be able to bring our pup along with us. Great place to relax and unwind!

A great getaway in the woods! Private without being isolated. Very close to lots of great hiking and the fire amenities were a perfect way to enjoy this cozy home. Super dog friendly airbnb too!

This is our second time staying and we absolutely love it!

We stayed just one night and enjoyed sitting on the porch at night and playing with the dogs in the yard. Beds and everything was very comfortable! We really appreciated the snacks and drinks! Overall a wonderful cottage!

This rustic, cozy cabin was the perfect spot for an impromptu weekend in the mountains for our family. The beds were very comfortable and the kitchen was well equipt. It was cold outside but heating worked well! So appreciated the little conveniences provided, like dishwasher and laundry soap, paper towels & clear, easy checkout instructions. Great location in easy drive to Davis main street and skiing. Laura was a super responsive host. Would def return!

Our stay was delightful, the cabin was beautiful, and Shaleen was incredibly flexible and responsive when we were hit with inclement weather. We hope to be back soon!

Bob's place is a perfect getaway If you're looking for a quiet weekend or serene surroundings. Bob was very responsive to all our inquiries. We enjoyed our stay and highly recommend the place.

Great Cabin in a rural area with a lot of outdoor activities nearby to do.

The cabin was more than we expected. It had plenty of room for us both and our grandson. Beavers living 100 yards up the hiking road and wild turkey feeding just outside the kitchen window excited us and thrilled grandson. The place was exceptionally clean and comfortable. We would definitely return.

This was the perfect peaceful getaway! The cabin itself was beautiful and the hiking trails around the property were everything we hoped for. We would highly recommend this cabin to anyone looking for a calm, quiet place to recharge and enjoy nature!

We had a wonderful stay at the cabin. The surrounding area was beautiful and George and Kathy were the perfect hosts. The cabin was so cozy and had everything we needed for a comfortable stay. Book it, you won’t regret it!

This spot is very far off the road. We wish we would have stayed longer. We brought so many things that were already provided, we could have packed much lighter. Pansy went above and beyond, the place was even decorated for the holiday. I wish we could have enjoyed the provided treats. Even though the weather was quite cold and snowed we stayed warm without any issues. Can't wait to get back to see Dolly Sods

We had an amazing stay at this cabin. Everything was pristine, the hot water was great, the stove was easy to turn on, the views are AMAZING, and we felt right at home. Cell signal booster helped us look for directions to the interesting places nearby. We drove through Canaan Valley, went to Blackwater Falls, hiked Seneca Rocks and Spruce Knob. Definitely stop at a grocery store before you go to the cabin. Great coffee places and groceries in Elkins. I recommend bringing one of the easy light firelogs fron the grocery store as well, as it's much easier to light one up in the middle of the night.

The place was nice and quiet. For someone looking to camp out, but without the tent experience, it was perfect.
