Everything about our stay has been utterly perfect. Having stayed in many Airbnb’s, this is certainly one of the best. All of the little details have been thought through, from the lovely and generous welcome package, to having plenty of logs available for the hot tub and even extra hot tub towels provided. The outside area is so well looked after that we just wanted to stay in the garden. We didn’t feel the need to leave the cottage at all! What made our experience even better was just how lovely, friendly and helpful Amy has been. I think this will be an annual trip for our family. Thanks so much again 😊

I highly recommend this beautiful house in a quiet and peaceful location. Jill was an excellent host, helpful and informative and the house was spotlessly clean with excellent amenities. The surrounding fields had newborn lambs and free range chickens which added to the atmosphere. if you come across this property when looking for a place to stay, look no further and book it immediately.

The cottage was easy to find from Derek's instructions which we didn't expect with how rural the area was. The house was beautiful and had extra amenities we didn't expect including a guest account for Netflix on the TV and a fancy fridge with an ice maker. Our dog enjoyed the garden (especially the ducks!) And absolutely loved the private field and river areas. She had a great run off the lead around here and a paddle in the river. With how rural the area was, it was a very quiet and peaceful area but we also visited the Beacon Fell nature reserve which was only a short 15 minute drive which was beautiful. The hosts were very helpful and were happy to answer any questions we had, even if we had already asked the question and just forgotten what they said!

Such a great find this was, in the middle of nowhere , gorgeous in the days and even better at night. So many walks to do round there but most afternoons we were in the house and would definitely go again

A fantastic property with a high quality and luxurious finish. Peaceful, with the feeling of being in the middle of nowhere, despite being extremely close to shops and bars. Stayed with my three kids. Enjoyed the hot-tub and garden. The place was spotlessly clean and all of the appliances worked perfectly. A great sleep in very comfy beds, next to the sound of nature. We stayed here for a few days whilst visiting. Although we knew the Wirral, we were less familiar with the old village side of Heswall. With beautiful views over the Dee to North Wales, this property is comfortable and well presented, as well as being spotlessly clean. There is a pub literally across the road, and local village shops a few minutes' walk away. There are good walks along the Wirral Way ( a disused railway line) within a few minutes of the house. We lived our stay there and would thoroughly recommend the property and Lisa's hosting.

This was our first experience of air bnb and it was seamless. Evangeline was great. The information she provided was great and the cottage was exactly as described. It was perfect for us with little children and an elderly relative with mobility issues. The downstairs bedroom along with downstairs bathroom and shower facilities was exactly what we needed. I would definitely recommend.

Diane is an amazing host and this Airbnb is truly a gem. The location is beautiful, quiet and the views from the cottage our over the fields are amazing. The cottage is luxurious spacious and incredibly well equipped. The kitchen had everything we could want including a proper espresso machine. The local towns are good and have plenty of restaurants and shops, our host also shared several amazing local dog walks with us.

This is our third stay at Emma's place and we always love it and the village with our dogs. looking forward to coming back if she'll have us!

Welch Cottage was the perfect holiday home. The property was spacious, exceptionally clean and located off a pretty, leafy lane. The kitchen was a joy for a large family to prepare meals together. Lytham St Anne's was forty minutes away and had everything a young family needed for fun days at the beach and was remarkably free of litter. The Forest of Bowland was peaceful, beautiful and unspoilt. Thank you, we hope to return.

Visited friends in next village over and stayed at the cottage for a few nights with hubby, 2 daughters (10 & 7) and our 2 small well behaved dogs. Lovely cottage with everything we needed. Very clean, well presented & comfy. Off street parking was a bonus. Would definitely recommend and will stay again when next up this way.

Really nice peaceful quiet place to stay, Very comfortable house with all you need for a relaxing stay. Walking distance to shops bars bistros and local attractions. Loads to do in the local area and little further afield. Really clean and comfortable place to stay really cosy with great views from the private decking area at the rear. Off road parking too. I would recommend to anyone or a group visiting the area to stay here. Lorraine was really nice great communication and really accommodating.

A lovely and very comfortable little barn with great hosts. Excellent communication and flexibility: We booked on the day of arrival and Kim very quickly replied offering us early arrival should we wish. Very highly recommended.

A beautiful find! We stayed for the weekend for a local wedding and the place felt just like home. Really cosy but spacious, very clean and tidy too. Easy to find with the directions, parking easy and super peaceful! Can’t recommend enough!

Warm and comfortable. Great views from the back windows. Only 10 minutes walk from the centre of Worley. Plenty of good walks directly from the house. Friendly neighbours.

The cottage was well-equipped, characterful, and peaceful; truly a home away from home. It is situated in a quiet location within a beautiful area. There are great transport links. The property was spotless and had everything required for a cosy, comfortable stay. I had to leave early owing to a medical issue but I will definitely return. We had a fabulous stay here for 3 nights. The location is very quiet and peaceful, which was perfect as a retreat after busy days in Manchester and Liverpool. It’s only 30 minutes from Liverpool, so perfect if you’re looking for somewhere quiet and close. The house was clean and tidy, exactly as described. I’d recommend staying here to anyone. Great find!
