Bonnie’s apartment was absolutely beautiful with stunning view of Lake Wakatipu. Check in was a breeze with the detailed instructions provided, and the apartment was clean and well maintained. We traveled with our 1yr old and it has all the necessary amenities. The apartment also has access to the trail which links to Queenstown town centre. Highly recommend Bonnie’s apartment!

Excellent room! Very clean and cozy. It was great having a tea kettle in the room and tea offered by the host! Great place to stay for the night!

Great accommodation option for our family of 3. The apartment’s location was 10/10, although there is a steep hill returning from town so may not be ideal for those with any mobility concerns or pushing a heavy pram. We did hire a car and the onsite parking directly outside the apartment was fantastic. The apartment itself was cosy and had a few basic items although minimal supply (only 2 bin bags for a 7night stay, no kitchen staples like cooking oil etc) which wasn’t a problem but just meant extra things to think about picking up from the grocery store. The hosts were helpful, accommodating and responsive and kindly included a portacot and highchair for our little one. Thank you!

This is a beautiful apartment! The views were stunning and the place was spotless. instructions were very clear and when I messaged a question, Sarah and Pete responded immediately. Parking was really difficult downtown, and the location of the apartment is further away from the center of things, but it is walkable (about 25 minutes) There is a pretty big hill (hard for younger kids)

Great place to stay for a little while, a short walk to get to downtown Queenstown. Parking can be a challenge, but if you plan your day right it’s not too bad. Lots of food in walkable range!

Elevated location so beautiful view of the lake. Easy walk down to town but a little challenging coming back up. Did find a route that switched back and forth so easier return. I think it is worthy to note the bathroom is on the lower level, while the living area and second bedroom are on the upper level and the stairs between the floors are steep. Communication was excellent. Overall a wonderful stay.

We enjoyed a wonderful stay at the property. The location was convenient to shops and restaurants in Queenstown. The views are exceptional. The home was comfortable, spacious, and well appointed. A great place from which to enjoy all the activities that the area offers. We would love to stay here again!

We loved our stay at The Prospector - it was top notch in terms of appearance and amenities, and with wonderful welcoming touches. We really appreciated the privacy and peacefulness and all the care that has gone into creating a wonderful experience for guests. A truly wonderful place to stay. You would be hard pressed to find such quality in a top hotel. Everything was provided. The house was warm and comfortable. There is a self contained, fully equipped flat in the basement with a huge bed and spacious bathroom. There is parking on site, right by the front door. Queenstown dock area is literally down the hill. I have no hesitation in recommending this lovely, luxurious apartment to anyone - a real ‘WOW’.

Amazing stay overall for a family of 7. View from the balcony was amazing. Queenstown is generally a hilly town so expect to walk uphill when coming back from city center. My 60+YO parents did it everyday, so you can too!
