Beautiful and relaxing weekend away. The cottage has everything that you need and Sandy was an amazing host who went above and beyond to ensure a magical stay. This was the second time we visited the farm and we will definitely be back again.

We stayed in the Wheat Cabin. The view was fantastic, the cabin well equipped with everything we needed and more. The hot tub was a great addition and we thoroughly enjoyed it. The cabin is private and the best break away from the hustle and bustle. Lida and Kobus were fantastic hosts and ensured that we had no shortcomings, including complimentary wine and homemade bread.We will be back soon!

What a magical spot. Every detail was perfect and really loved every part of the trip. Beautiful crockery and linen and amazing wood fired hot tub. Defnitely try and breakfast at the restaurant. We had the french toast and full breakfast with venison sausage. Amazing. Can't wait to return

Cottage in the Kloof so perfectly describes this stay. Yet, if I were to rename it, it would be the house surrounded by birds. We awoke to the gentle sound of bird call and many a morning was enjoyed with a cup of tea watching the sun appear through the mountain with little Robins moving about in the plants that surround the home. Anywhere you look your eyes will fall upon the beauty of the mountain. We made use of the hot tub every day and loved our drive up to the 4 x 4 track to the new A-frame home. If you’re looking for peace and quiet then this is definitely the space for it. Thank you for having us, Jackie. We will be back for sure.

We will definitely return to enjoy the peace & tranquility that this hidden gem has to offer. It has all the qualities of a 5 star stay. A perfect getaway where one feels spoiled by the relaxed and scenic ambience along with the carefully selected decor of rustic meets modern. It catered for our every need. Our overall stay was more than great, and the hosts are super friendly and helpful. Our pup felt so at home because it felt like home to us..Pity we could not stay longer.

a great house in a wonderfully quiet area. perfectly and very tastefully furnished. a few minutes from the beach. with a bit of luck you can watch zebras from your bedroom in the morning ... hildegarde and thys are wonderful and helpful hosts. we would love to come back ...

Utterly delightful! A cosy, quaint, comfortable stone cottage nestled inside a garden of trees, leaves and bird song with a wooden bridge over a babbling brook to plunge the soul even deeper into a wholesome escape. All that I’d hoped it would be - lovely hosts and seriously crunchy apples to feast upon! Loved the linen, pillows, outdoor shower, the balcony with braai, the rose-petal bath...Will return and recommend to all. A great stop to and from Cape Town along N2. Stop here!!

Anton was a very responsive and accommodating host. The place is tucked away in nature which means lots of serene sounds, peace and quietness. The place is decked out with all the basic cooking stuff, guides and books to really disconnect from our city lives. Only challenge was getting our small rental car over the driveway to the cabin. Highly recommended

This cabin was exactly what we needed after a hectic week—the serenity was truly unmatched. The scenic views were breathtaking, and the peaceful atmosphere made it impossible to leave. We arrived late, but Chantelle kept checking in on us, which was so thoughtful. Upon arrival, Marc was there to welcome us, show us around, and share some great recommendations. Their hospitality made the stay even more special. It was so relaxing that we ended up canceling our plans just to stay in and soak up the tranquility. A highlight of our trip was spotting elephants right outside—Chantelle even messaged us to let us know they were nearby! This was one of the most peaceful stays we’ve ever had, and we truly can’t wait to return!

We had a lovely stay at Helen’s! She was very communicative and helped us out during our whole stay recommending walks and things to do in town. The cabin was cosy, had everything we needed and the beds were so comfy! We will definitely be returning to Helen’s on our next stay in Hogsback <3 x

We loved our peaceful stay at Simon’s place. It is truly a private hide away on the edge of nature. The walk to the beach was beautiful. And the beach is endless and breathtaking. We loved the cottage and it has all the basics that you need. There are a few restaurants close by - two within walking distance. Our highlights were all the trails and the beach walks.

The cottage was lovely and cozy with all the necessary amenities. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.

Dit het ALLES wat jy kan nodig kry – tot in die kleinste detail is daar aan alles gedink. Dit is een van die mooiste plekke waar ’n mens kan bly – rustig, stil, privaat – regtig ’n juweel van ’n bestemming. Charl, baie dankie vir jou hartlike vriendelikheid en opregte gasvryheid. Jy het ons laat tuis voel vanaf die oomblik wat ons opgedaag het. Ons wens ons kon langer bly – een aand was beslis nie genoeg nie! Ons kan nie wag om terug te kom nie. Tot volgende keer!

Onze ervaring hier was fantastisch. Het huis was keurig netjes en voorzien van alles wat we nodig hadden. De locatie is prachtig. We voelden ons direct welkom en zullen hier zeker nog eens terugkomen. Absoluut een aanrader!

Dayle und Jaco haben sich in Hogsback ein kleines Paradies geschaffen. Alles ist mit ganz viel Liebe gestaltet. Man fühlt sich so umschmeichelt. Es ist wunderschön in der Hütte zu übernachten. Und wenn man dann noch das Glück hat von Jaco - einem ehemaligen Küchenchef - bekocht zu werden, ist das Erlebnis komplett. Dayle bietet nach den Wanderungen übrigens auch Massagen an. Wir würden jederzeit wieder dorthin zurückkehren!

This is a beautifully secluded location providing wonderful views and complete peace. We watched a variety of wildlife from our veranda while eating breakfast. Dan took us on two long drives around the enormous and varied reserve and he was informative and helpful throughout. The accommodation surpassed what we were expecting and we loved the whole experience.

this little gem nestled in the tranquil lush valley of the wilderness forest was fully equipped with added extras like candles; yoga mats; a beach umbrella; ground coffee; olive oil. being two creative beings, we appreciated the fun splashes of yellow around the cottage 💛 because of its remote location, mobile reception was very limited to non-existent so be prepared to disappear off the grid. perfect for a city-life detox.

Very spacious House.. It was nice to unwind with friends around a fireplace.. Place is decently provided all the essentialls for making our holiday great.. Great value for your money.. Very nice and quiet area.. Close to hiking places and the Grotto beach..

What an incredible escape! It’s unbelievable that this piece of paradise is just 30min from PE. It has a beautiful view from the deck that just cultivates inner peace. Great amenities, beautifully clean linen and comfortable beds. The outdoor shower was also a highlight. The host was friendly and informative. She made check-in and out very smooth. Thank you for a lovely stay! We will definitely be back!

TinTin cabin is a must for those looking for a tranquil getaway in pristine surroundings. Pringle Bay, a quaint seaside town with lovely local deli, Lemon & Lime and super restaurant, Cork, gorgeous for walking and a beach stroll or a quick drive into Betty's Bay if you fancy an outing. But it is the cabin that is a standout. With warm, welcoming hosts who have thought of everything that you could possibly need for your stay, the cabin is a design dream. From the colours replicating the seafoam and coral to the South African design scattered throughout the cabin. The intentioned inclusion of gorgeous pieces that are proudly South African is a wonderful touch, from Pedersen + Lennard furniture to Mungo towels, Lucie de Moyencourt Shellegance sits beautifully in the bathroom and Vorster & Braye adorning the shelves. We highly recommend a visit.
