We had an amazing stay! It was our second time staying and everything was perfect. It’s a cozy cottage with an at-home feel. Set the pilot light in the gas fireplace for us and let me know in advance, and offered to come pick up chairs after a windstorm the night before our stay. Very lovely host with a very speedy response time and a wonderful property!

We had a wonderful stay at Zeshan's place! The house was amazing — everything was working perfectly, it was clean, comfortable, and very well-equipped. The beds and pillows were extremely comfortable, making our nights very restful. The view was absolutely stunning and made our time there even more special. We were also able to go hiking in the area and enjoyed canoeing on the nearby lake. The goat is very friendly and responsive and made us feel very welcome It was a perfect getaway, and we would definitely love to come back!

We are so happy we got to stay at the cottage during our visit. It was so peaceful and quiet. Beautiful scenery, comfortable beds, fully stocked kitchen. I look forward to visiting again.

This a fabulous place to stay. It is so beautifully curated so that even though it is not a large space the hosts have included everything you need. There is a very, well-stocked kitchen, comfortable beds, games,a great entertainment system, and its steps from the beach. If you like to walk you can easily access trails as well as the main strip. We had an amazing Christmas stay at Amanda’s beautiful cottage! The snow made the experience even more magical, though we can imagine it being just as stunning in the summer. The heated jacuzzi overlooking the serene view was a highlight for us—it was the perfect spot to relax and unwind. The cottage is incredibly private and exclusive, offering the peaceful retreat we were looking for. The house itself is spotless, cozy, and well-maintained. Amanda’s detailed instructions made navigating everything in the home so easy, and we appreciated how thoughtfully everything was prepared. The place had everything we needed and more. We wanted a relaxing getaway and that’s exactly what we got. Gorgeous sunset view from a hot tub, doesn’t get anymore zen than that. Great place!

We LOVED our honeymoon at Laurie's place! It was exactly the relaxing, cozy, peaceful getaway spot we were dreaming of. Great location - even in the winter! Laurie is a fantastic host: friendly, chill, accommodating and invested in our enjoyment of the place. We really like how she provided clear instructions - and the nice little labels in various places in the house tickled our fancy! We cooked most of our own food all week and the kitchen was fully equipped with a nice full fridge, suitable dual hotplate, nice big sink for dishes and all the equipment needed. Laurie mentioned doing some woodworking and there was a nice solid wood cutting board in the kitchen and lovely live-edge wood in various places in the home. We appreciated the decor, and loved the wood paneling on the walls - the whole place smells nice because of it. The bed was comfortable and there was ample space in the home and extra linens. We loved the local handmade soap, too! We'd love to return next year!

If you want the beauty of Lake Huron mixed with peace and quiet… this is the place to be! The cottage was perfect and we had a great week of relaxation. I loved the real cottage feel without the added materialism. Lots of laughs shared and enjoyment to be had. My family and I really appreciated the homie touches here and there throughout. Would definitely stay again!

Shelly was super welcoming, called in advance of our arrival offering earlier access if required, and ended up letting us stay late after we couldn't get in till late on the first day! Love the place and the beach right next to us. Will come back for sure!

We 4 friends stayed for a week. The large 2-storey cottage on a quiet cul de sac was spacious with multiple bedrooms and plenty of lounge area in and a large deck out, with a beautiful view of the bay looking east out to Georgian Bay – morning sun out front, most sleeping areas in the back to allow sleeping in! 1-1/2 baths, with the half an en suite. A sandy bottom bay with long shallow great for kids, well-constructed fire pit, and kayaks await outside. Inside is a large modern fridge and deluxe gas range, an island bar counter, large dining area overlooking the bay. No TV but you won’t miss it with all the activities in the area – close to supplies in Wiarton, Lion’s Head, and incredible lookout points on the Bruce Trail. No A/C but evening temps are reasonable, at worst open a window and enjoy the ceiling fans. Great high-speed internet. We all came away relaxed and happy to recommend this as a truly Great Canadian getaway.

Always a great stay at the Red Bay get away. We have been twice now and both times we had amazing time. The place is always nice and clean, they have lots of board games, free WiFi, appliances. We go here for the sunsets though. Some of the best sunsets we have ever seen!

Loved this location - beach right across the road with chairs provided to take over and enjoy! Easy walk to town for restaurants and cafes and shopping. Just a beautiful town and perfect cottage to enjoy it! All the needed equipment and extra provided. Bedding was so lovely! Can’t say enough! Highly recommend!

I would highly recommend this place if you are a fan of hot tubs and wish to see the lake while doing this. As a true fan of hot tub, I have tried many different kinds of stay. The scenery in this place is one of the best, especially if you like the vibe of being in the forest and lake. The only inconvenience is that you have to bring your towels and bedsheets (bring some laundry detergent if you plan to stay a longer time). Maybe you will see a very peaceful and cute cat (not sure if it is a stray cat) strolling around the house! The cat will greet you kindly, so please be kind to it!

Smooth transaction, great communication, beautiful, clean home, wonderful natural environment, good value too. If you like sunsets, stargazing and beach walks, this place is perfect. I recommend taking a stroll north on the beach to point farms provincial park. What makes this location of Ontario generally beautiful is the cliff overlooking, to the west, the beach and lake huron, which makes for phenomenal sunsets and a fairly secluded beach. The cliff means there are a lot of stairs to get to the beach which is fine except for folks with mobility issues may choose to stay on the beautiful deck instead. Near the golf course.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at the Huron cottage in Mac's Shacks, and I couldn't be happier with the experience. The facilities were in excellent condition, clean, and well-maintained, ensuring a comfortable and relaxing stay. The host was prompt and responsive in their communication, making the check-in and check-out process seamless and providing helpful information throughout our stay. The lake was stunning, offering beautiful views and a peaceful atmosphere. I highly recommend this cottage for anyone looking to enjoy a tranquil getaway in Bruce Peninsula.

The cottage was an amazing find. It’s beautiful and located at an amazing spot right near the water. The cottage has a ton of amenities and it’s perfect for a big family of 10-12 to visit. The rooms and washrooms were squeaky clean. The only review I have for this area in general is that if the weather isn’t very good, expect to spend a lot of time indoors. But the cottage has a lot of board games so that’s nice. The grocery stores are far away so expect a drive in nearby towns to get food. The host is super responsive; I think their response time was under a minute every single time. Overall, my family had a good time and we would definitely return when the weather is hot! Definitely recommend.

The home was spacious and comfortable. The added amenities were so wonderful and it was fully stocked with towels and shampoo/ conditioner as well as body wash. All the beds were great and each person from our family slept great. The kids loved the play room and shooting hoops. The views were scenic and stunning. Soaking in the hot tub while overlooking the lake and seeing sailboats in the distance was very peaceful. What a great find. The host Marisa was kind, thoughtful and even left us some goodies! We would highly recommend this rental location to anyone.

Beautiful place and breathtaking sunrise! Diego welcomed us very well! He gave a nice tour of the house. He is a great host, very friendly and accommodating. He was excellent responsive and easy communicator. Incredible lakefront deck and patio. The water was so beautiful! The sound of the waves was very relaxing! Stunning view! My family and I enjoyed swimming! We had to be extra careful getting in and getting out of the water because of the slippery rocks. Good water shoes is must. The stars were so bright and beautiful at night🤩 and the Sunrise was breathtaking! Everything was available in the house. The beds were comfortable. My kids loved all the collection of the books and DVDs. Great movies. Loved how the upper floor was set up for kids. Had an amazing long weekend getaway! Half hour away from blue mountain.

Un emplacement merveilleux au bord du Lac. Un chalet grandiose où l'on se sent bien très rapidement. Nous étions un groupe d'amis et nous avions tous notre indépendance. Vraiment un endroit hors du temps avec une ambiance dépaysante. J'espère avoir la possibilité d'y revenir un jour.
