Ann was a very helpful host, and her place was lovely.

We had a great stay and hope to return! Stylish home with everything you need. Claire was very responsive and helpful. Claire provided a travel cot and highchair which was a big help. It was a perfect place for us to relax and be nearby to visit family. thanks Claire!

We had a wonderful family weekend in this lovely cottage. It is comfortable, well-equiped and tastefully decorated. It is also perfectly situated for visiting the Peak District, with several hiking trails starting directly at the house. Check-in and check-out were easy and Rob was very responsive whenever we had a question. We fully recommend Hathersage cottage!

We had a lovely stay. The place was ideal as a base to explore the wonderful walks in the area.

Very clean and spacious house, lots of kitchen equipment to do cooking at the house. Good location close to the peak district and other areas. Good food places nearby. Thoroughly enjoyed the stay and would definitely visit again

We stayed here for the weekend whilst seeing family. It’s a lovely place, very clean and comfortable and a great location. Supermarket just across the road, pubs nearby and an amazing Ice cream place just round the corner. Best communication I’ve had from a host to. Really proactive in the build up to the stay, and responded in seconds when we couldn’t find the hairdryer! (It’s always the last place you look! 😂) Highly recommend staying here and we will definitely be booking again.

Great property and owners. We stayed as 4 couples and 2 children and the house was plenty big enough with excellent facilities. The hosts were great , helpful and informative and we ate where they recommended - the Wortley arms - and it was great. Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this house and we will hopefully be back soon.

Cozy terrace house, beautifully decorated, we felt right at home. Good soundproofing between bedrooms and didn’t hear the neighbours so nice and quiet. Note that the staircases are extremely steep up to the 1st floor (master bedroom and single bedroom) as well as spacious bedroom on the second floor. One bathroom with lots of hot water and a great bath and shower. Enclosed garden for our dog was great, thanks for the dog welcome bowls and treats ! Parking was on the street right outside.

Marianne really is the perfect host! We received a warm welcome on arrival plus we also had the absolute pleasure of meeting Minny, Macy & Flee! The accommodation itself is very cosy & styled beautifully. We were very comfortable here & felt instantly at home. The kitchen is well equipped but with so many pubs/tearooms etc just a short walk away, we dined out every single evening! Spring is a particularly wonderful time to visit. Glorious pink blossom trees, an abundance of bright sunny yellow daffodils & the cutest little lambs prancing around! This really is the perfect base to explore Castleton & we would love to stay again when we are next visiting the Peak District. Thank you Marianne! 💛✨

We were welcomed to the apartment by Jane and Howard. They were very friendly and easy to contact both before and during our stay. We found the apartment to be perfect for our needs. It was very clean and furnished to a high standard. It was lovely to have the peaceful garden view from the patio doors and from the kitchen. The apartment is located next to the beautiful Ecclesall Woods and only 15 minutes drive from the Peak District. Thank you for the generous welcome pack - it was much appreciated. We would highly recommend this apartment.

This place is such a lovely place!! We could not have asked for anything better we wished we had stayed longer! The 3 beds where all very comfortable and there as plenty of space for 6 adults!! Honestly 10/10 air bnb

We really enjoyed our stay. Charlotte was a lovely host, so helpful and friendly. We really liked the place! It was a perfect base for our hikes. Clean, warm and with a well equipped kitchen. A place where we could happily flop on the sofa after a long day out. Many thanks to Charlotte and Stuart!

Spacious and comfy spot in an ideal location for exploring the Peak District, beautiful walks literally from the doorstep. Great stay if you want privacy; we never met or communicated with Jon and Emma (not on purpose, it just worked out that way!) Access is via a keycode so you can go the whole trip without dealing with anyone if you want, and the printed guide in the home has all the info you need. Would stay again!

Our stay at Diana's was magnificent! The apartment has everything you need to be comfortable during summer or winter, and the location is perfect! (Keep in mind that it's on a slight hill if you have limited mobility.) Diana is very communicative, check-in and check-out were extremely simple, and the apartment has a lot of useful information about the area. We will definitely stay at Diana's again when we're in the area.
