In the morning, take your cuppa to the beach to watch the sunrise, & you may come across our local Bungalung man playing his didge on the beach! Pure magic!

The Getaway Box sits serenely and privately in sub tropical rainforest gardens approx. 6kms from central Byron Bay. You are only a 5 minute drive from beaches, restaurants and shopping. Private, comfortable studio set in an established tranquil garden. Plenty of bird song and beautiful flowers. Short stroll to the pristine and expansive beach where you’ll see Byron lighthouse in the distance without a single other building in sight! The popular Bay Roots cafe just around the corner for great coffee and food, yoga at the South Golden Beach Hall at the end of the street. The weekly local farmers market, a short bike ride away, for live music, organic produce and great brekky.

Inspired by tiny homes all over the world, this 30m2 space has been architecturally designed to make you feel cosy and comfy at anytime of year. Enjoy a 30sec walk to the beach, local coffee or food, or snuggle up in front of the fireplace in those colder months. Suitable for a couple (sorry no kids) It’s a loft, so the bedroom area has ladder like steps and a low roof. But it all adds to the charm. Enjoy sitting in the tree tops and watching the world go by in our little beachside town.

Little Shell Studio

Tucked at the back of our beach home is a chic little studio, in tranquil South Golden Beach. With its own separate entrance, deck & lush garden, this relaxed space is your own private oasis. With a beautiful bed, modern bathroom and easy stroll to the beach, it offers a peaceful and intimate space to call home. We offer beach towels & bikes for guest use, plus an outdoor copper shower & fire-pit. We’re always available should you need us, but will leave you in complete privacy otherwise.

Local seafood is also available to purchase from I’m a catch on Fridays outside new Brigton shop . You can enjoy the peace while being close to everything south golden offers
