We had enjoyed staying here! Our dogs love the house and backyard such a great space for fury friends! We definitely will be coming back here to stay!

This place was amazing! Dawn was very responsive and proactive in recommending restaurants and boat rental places, etc. The setting in the backyard was beautiful with the pool and the lake and it was so peaceful. The house was nice and clean when we arrived and we would definitely stay here again! We loved our stay in Granbury! Thank you Dawn!

Our second stay was as great as our first! So much to do for everyone in our family from ages 3 to 65! There was a maintenance issue on our first night, which was Friday of Easter weekend. Jaimee and Michael were immediately responsive and had an electrician to fix the problem within a couple hours. Such great service! The house and grounds are large, comfortable, and offer so much to do both inside and out. So fun and relaxing. Has everything you need (bring your own firewood for fire pit and chunk charcoal for BGE). Has amenities not even listed like puzzles, outdoor games, pool toys, and life jackets. You won’t be disappointed!

This home was all that and then some! If i could give more stars i would! From communication to check out everything was top notch! Beautiful home, property and all the little extras to make you feel like you’re at home! Beautiful property, pool and so much room! Loved the house, plenty of parking for our carport of ladies. The house was clean for the most part and definitely would stay again.

What a great home with an amazing view! We loved being on the lake and close to town! We enjoyed the downtown square of Granbury and even took in a show at the Granbury Live! Fantastic time with incredible hosts who went above and beyond to make sure our stay was perfect-despite the freezing weather! Thank you so much for sharing your home with my sisters and me!!

My husband, daughter, son-in-law, and myself met there to go to a wedding at a nearby venue and stayed 2 nights. This was the perfect location since we were coming from east Texas and our daughter and son-in-law were coming from the Austin area. Beautiful views and very clean home. The pool was very enjoyable, too. Everything we needed was there. Would definitely recommend this place. We only had 4 people, but the home can accommodate plenty more. Thank you, Jessica. We had a great stay at the Main House at Country Woods Inn! The location was perfect for our family New Year's vacation, just 15 minutes from Dinosaur Valley State Park and Fossil Rim. We loved all the amenities on the property: fishing, petting zoo, small library, tether ball, see saw and campfire. We were able to walk to the river to fish and look for tadpoles at Big Rocks park. We loved having pizza a the large farmhouse table which easily sat our group of 11. The 5 kids enjoyed the loft and each of the three couples were comfortable in the downstairs bedrooms. The house was cozy and quaint. Helen was incredibly responsive as we prepared for the trip and while we were there. I texted her about s'more sticks and she knew exactly where I could find them. We loved having s'mores at the campfire! One of our favorite parts was petting rabbits and watching Lily the goat jump the fence. We definitely will tell our friends in Dallas to check out Country Woods Inn!

Tina's place was amazing! Our church youth group praise team stayed here for our spring retreat, and the kids absolutely loved it. The view from the porch was breathtaking, and we enjoyed the walking trails and bonfire. It was a perfect getaway, and we would definitely come back for another retreat!

We visited for the total solar eclipse as the property was in the path of totality. The property was exactly as described. The "master suite" part of the property was nice having its own entrance/exit from the other two bedrooms. We took my sister and two nephews with us. Our 4-year old nephew loved having his own big room and bathroom. A pack and play was provided for the youngest nephew - which was appreciated. The kitchen was well stocked and the washer/dryer was a nice addition. The swimming pool was also nice. There is an outdoor area to BBQ, however, its a community item so if someone else was using it you were unable. We changed our menu plans so it wouldn't be an issue for us. The river walk was also nice for our dogs. The property is kept up very nice, the landscaping is beautiful and the doggy stations along the perimeter are appreciated. We would definitely visit here again.

Best long term rental! Place is comfortable, clean, and has everything you might need. The hosts are always responsive and kind. They made the place truly feel like our home. Would only stay at one of Nelson and Lissa’s places when needing a rental in Glen Rose!

We had a great stay at Debbie's house at Glen Rose - 4 adults and 2 kids. The house is right on the Paluxy River and there is a paved walking trail accessible just outside the house. It's a very kid-friendly house and location - you can walk less than 0.5 miles to climb the rocks at Big Rocks Park, or cross the river and walk to a playground just down the path. The town square is close - but not easily walkable with kids as there is not a sidewalk, it is better for a short and easy drive. We visited Dinosaur Valley State Park + Dinosaur World, this was a great location for our trip. Thanks to Debbie and Ciara!

the house was as described. It was quiet where it was, you could see the stars and it was very close to all the things to do in glen rose.

We rented the whole house for my entire family and it was great! It was nice thar every room had its own bathroom and the kitchen was fully stocked so easy to cook in. You can walk into town and the yard was nice for the kids to run around in. We would stay again!
