This is our third stay at Sophia’s Cottage, and it was a wonderful as ever. Sophia takes great care to ensure a comfortable stay from the start. With fresh flowers and a welcome gift (nice bottle of pinot noir!), it’s a wonderful start to the stay! The kitchen is well equipped for cooking in, but the house is also in walking distance from terrific restaurants if you’d rather go out! There are lots of lovely touches around the house so your stay feels home-y. Throw blankets and pillows, nice shower gel and shampoo, teas and coffees. The beds are very comfortable, and the neighbourhood is peaceful, so good nights sleep guaranteed. It’s great to have washer and dryer and a dishwasher to make things easy. Sophia is kind and responsive, and a wonderful host. We will absolutely be back and look forward to it!

No regrets about choosing this house for a short spring break stay with my family! It was exactly as described, and we had such a wonderful trip. The location was perfect, even with two small kids- walked easily to all the necessary spots, and across to New Hope! The family loved having movie time at night, and riding bikes along the canal during the day. The displayed well in the kitchen added a unique and surprising touch to the house and our experience. We would definitely recommend this place to family and friends, and would visit again in the future!

Nice and private, super quiet and comfy, zero complaints whatsoever. The hosts were super helpful, friendly and communicative. Overall it was a great first Airbnb experience, and for the price we are very likely to do it again!

Wonderful property, very private and well kept. Hearing roosters in the am was wonderful. Very dog friendly. We are staying in the summer so looking forward to the pool ! Caretaker is very friendly.

Beautiful home. Peaceful setting. It was truly a relaxing stay. Will definitely stay again when back in the area. My grandmother whom we visited came to see the place and said it’s what she’d always dreamed of having. Overall great experience!!

We had a GREAT time at this location, with very few general complaints. -The TV was huge - beds where comfy -the air conditioning worked great - kitchen was gorgeous -location had everything you want for Philly (I am a Philly local) -the hot tub was clean -the house was darn near spotless Only complaints (and tbh this is nit picking!) -there is a charge for the hot tub (I feel there should only be one if you make a mess of it). Since the place was so pricey, we feel that a little much -you need to bring your own cleaning supplies (trash bags/paper towels, etc). -the tv didn’t have much in terms of streaming services/phone connection (bring a chrome cast or video game system if you want that). -water pressure wasn’t the best -it is a LITTLE loud outside at night, so be aware (not the owners fault, obviously—it’s right in center city so they’ll happen). Very much enjoyed staying at Lloyd’s place. A peaceful location, yet 10-15 minutes away from “civilization”. House was very comfortable and well stocked with the essentials.

Felt like home and had plenty off amenities inside and outside.

Darby and her family were wonderful hosts! I booked her glamping tent as a belated birthday surprise for my partner who loves the outdoors. The farm is a truly special place, near Ringing Rocks Park and 5 mins from Pottstown, PA. The tent is nestled within trees that dot the outskirts of their field, which creates a lot of privacy but is also close enough to their home for them to be available if you need something. The tent itself is equipped with everything you need, although we ate all of our meals out so we didn’t try and cook. I love the ability to adjust the lighting in the tent— and the hot tub is so much fun! The location is just 1hour from Philly. Darby and her family were incredibly friendly and thoughtful. I mentioned that we were celebrating a birthday and they left a note and hung up a birthday banner! It’s the little things that make a stay special. We really enjoyed our stay and will be returning next season! 10/10 would recommend.
