Our stay was incredible!! The area is beautiful. The house was exactly as described. Very clean!! The house is furnished with more than is listed, supply wise is, bug spray/bear spray, etc. which I appreciated!! A restful, peaceful visit while we are traveling south alaska celebrating our 40th wedding anniversary. As a photographer, I took many photos of the property, the lake and even the auroras. The sunrises and sunsets were amazing!! There was a young moose that came up one evening. I went out later to check if he’d come back. He had not, but that’s when I saw the lights!! Two years ago we were in alaska, and paid big $$$ to be flown above the Arctic circle to see the lights. The free ones here were much better, more vivid. So look up when you come. We never even considered we would be able to see them. We would definitely book again with Peter!! Fantastic host.

This was the cutest cabin! I was just staying in between Soldotna and Cooper Landing for some planned adventures on way back to Anchorage. Easy check-in, very clean space! Totally comfortable bed. I need this mattress. I didn't visit the kitchen/community TV area, but the bathrooms/laundry areas were nice. (Nothing against them, but I walked in and some guy was using the bathroom with the door open.) You're not at home; close the door. :/ There are like 7 bathrooms in the Base Camp, which is convenient. Clean showers, washer/dryers available for use. I'd totally visit this area again!

Steve was great to work with. Cabin was super cute and inviting. Would stay here again!!!!!!

The apartment was beautiful and very modern while still tying in some Alaskan features. The hosts were friendly and responsive. And whatever sheets & bedding they're using was insanely comfortable!

Beautiful and serene little cabin with everything you could possibly need to cook and prepare food. Robin was very helpful with suggestions on food and adventure. Me and my two teenage boys enjoyed our week long stay thoroughly. Planning on a return trip in the summer so we can explore a little more.

Have stayed here once before and we really like it, so decided to do so again. It was lovely and very relaxing.

Everything was perfect. Great space and very peaceful location. Exactly what we’re were looking for on our trip. Erin was a great host and easy to communicate with, she even wrote us a little note for our anniversary. We would definitely stay here again.

Great location in Sterling for a fisherman’s home base. Easy walk to Isaac Walton boat launch, where we met our guide and could also fish. Convenience stores, gas stations and a great pizza place nearby. Also only about a 15 min drive to Soldotna. Cable TV for those rainy days and a nice covered front porch.
