Apartments are beautiful, large, and in a great location - we really loved our stay and would absolutely recommend this place to friends! Things to know: the two floors are totally separate apartments; they are pretty anonymous rental flats in terms of what to expect in the kitchen; we experienced some cultural differences around checkout and other communication, but no major issues; the offered airport pickup required that we wait around the airport for about 40 minutes but was otherwise easy

The house is spacious (two bedrooms and a living room) and has everything you need for a comfortable stay. The garden and the cozy winter lounge are great spots to relax and enjoy a cup of tea. The neighborhood is very quiet and safe, just two metro stops away from the Bosphorus shore (Üsküdar). From there, you can easily get anywhere in Istanbul by metro, bus, or ferry. There are plenty of restaurants and shops nearby, and some are open all night.

Genialt sted at bo! Meget charmerende og cool sted midt i Balat. Tagterrassen er helt fantastisk med flot udsigt over byen og Det Gyldne Horn.

A magical escape in the heart of historic Istanbul! Our stay at this Balat apartment was absolutely incredible. The flat was spotless, spacious, and well-equipped with everything from a modern kitchen and smart TVs to air conditioning and central heating. The real highlight, though, was the 100 sqm terrace — the views of the sea, Golden Horn, and city skyline were breathtaking. Whether dining under the stars or relaxing in the cozy winter dome with a PS5, the space was perfect year-round. The location is unbeatable — just steps from the sea, tram, ferry, and steeped in rich history and charm. We loved exploring nearby sacred springs, churches, and local cafes. Communication with the host was smooth and everything matched the listing perfectly. Thank you for an amazing stay. We’ll definitely be back!

Gorgeous apartment in a fantastic location. We went to Istanbul to walk/explore and eat and this beautiful place was in a very quiet, yet central location. James was extremely helpful and gave us loads of recommendations which we really appreciated. Highly recommend this place.

Konaklamamız gerçekten harikaydı! İstiklal Caddesi’ne, toplu taşımaya ve restoranlara yürüme mesafesinde. Lokasyon olarak daha merkezi bir yer olamazdı. Ev fotoğraflarda göründüğü gibi tertemiz, konforlu ve oldukça şık dekore edilmiş. İhtiyacımız olan her şey mevcuttu. Ev sahibi de son derece ilgili, kibar ve her sorumuza hızlıca yanıt verdi. Herkese gönül rahatlığıyla tavsiye ederim!

Tolga is an excellent host, and the apartment is very conveniently located in a nice yet less touristy area. Room is clean and has all the basics you need, and the apartment itself is very lovely and spacious. Tolga was incredibly welcoming and helpful - I feel very lucky to have stayed here. Can't recommend enough!

Evin konumu harikaydı. Ana cadde üstünde ve metro girişinin yanında olmasını beğendim. Hemen karşısında Lotus Avm ve Starbucks olması da çok hoştu.Ev sahibi Mahmut bey ilgili ve yardımseverdi güleryüzle karşıladı. Daire temiz ve kullanışlıydı. Mobilyalar zevkli döşenmiş ve yeniydi. Yeterli havlu ve nevresim vardı ve tertemizdi. Çocuğum için talep ettiğim park yatağı temin etmeleri de beni memnun etti. Herkese tavsiye edebileceğim bir konaklamaydı.

Только сегодня выехали из квартиры. С самого начала хозяин был всегла на связи и быстро отвечал на любые вопросы. Вообще, их несколько ребят. Мы сами лично видели Исмаила, который нас встретил в первый день и ло последнего дня был на связи. Они, как я поняла, круглосуточно меняются, кто- то ночью работает, кто- то днем. Когда только вошли в квартиру, на первый взгляд (возможно, из- за того что было прохладно), квартира показалась неуютной и меньше чем на фото. Но как только температуру в квартире сделали теплее, стало очень уютно. Возможно другим не будет прохладно, мы из Казахстана и привыкли жить зимой с отоплением и быть в тепле😊 Квартира современная, чистая, постельное белье чистое, все удобно и комфортно. По моему запросу, мне принесли еще одну кровать в гостиную. Есть два телевизора, посудомоечная машина, утюг, гладильная доска, фен. В квартире убирались. Любые наши запросы своевременно исполнялись. Один минус (возможно для пожилых людей), местность тут прилично холмистая.

The place is as described, even better than pictures I would say, The staff is responsive and the house is very clean and has all different utilities, enjoyed every minute of it and will surely go back!
