Great house. We had plenty of space for 8 people. The house is very clean and comfortable. A bunch of the women in my family were in town for a baby shower and we decided to make a weekend of it. Everyone enjoyed staying and hanging out. The fire pit was nice and we thoroughly enjoyed it. The lake and backyard are beautiful.

This was perfect for our weekend girls trip!

My husband and I had such a great time. Michael was great host, very responsive and had plenty of amenities! I look forward to visiting again!!

Kathy did an amazing job renovating this property, and we really appreciated all of her personal and special touches, such as the handmade pottery dishes in the kitchen and decorative touches around the house. We are a very crafty family and really appreciated her artistry. It was a very comfortable stay all around, the beds were super comfortable, towels fluffy, and every kitchen amenity we could possibly need was provided. The view from the house is amazing, and it’s a great location on the lake, just a short drive from Montague. We had only wished there was a fire pit next to the house, and not just down at the lake as there were several people in our party who are not able to travel up and down the stairs due to knee issues. Also, if you are a light sleeper I would recommend the upstairs bedrooms, you can hear every footstep upstairs from the basement bedrooms. All in all, Cathy is an excellent host, the house very comfortable and convenient, and we absolutely recommend.

From the word GO Michelle(Mike🥰) was the best hostess. She and her husband both treated us like family and were very gracious to our needs. Superb people to rent from and the accommodations!! In my grandson’s words …. We are making this a tradition ❤️

Writing this review, with considerable jet lag, I can say the only feedback prompt I paused on was "value." This wasn't a cheap week. But seriously, it shouldn't have be. This is a large, well appointed property in a seriously beautiful lake country setting. Moreover, it's a real house for real people, not a beige/grey generic airbnb-fab unit created for the purpose of a revenue stream. Also- If you are a client with a boat/boat aspirations, don't think twice. This place is awesome.

My husband and I loved this AirBnb. We watched the most beautiful sunset on kayaks and ate breakfast with lake Portage as our view. There was a really great nature trail within walking distance of the place too where you could take your dog for a walk.

We had a peaceful stay. Very relaxing. Enjoyed visiting the west coast of Michigan. Would love to stay at this property again.

Excellent get away. I wanted a weekend to recover after a busy spring where I could feel relaxed. This is it. Literally no cell service (was able to get messages to the sitter via the excellent internet), there is a camp ground that is across the way, but when you’re in the backyard you feel like people no longer exsist. Quiet, tranquil and just what I needed. Brought food to cook in the well stocked kitchen. We didn’t leave because we didn’t need to. We will definitely be back.

Absolutely great weekend on the lake. The house was perfect for our group size and the hot tub, fire pit, clubhouse made the stay that much better!

My husband and his crew stayed here while they did a job in Silverlake. He said the house was very clean and had everything they needed. It had adequate parking for all of their cars. He said there are a few restaurants and bars right next door. The lake was right across the street. He wanted to stay again next week, but the house was already booked.

A great home with a beautiful backyard. I will definitely be checking this place out again when I come back to Ludington.

Alisha was a great host! Things were exactly as described. The location was perfect and plenty of space for the kids to run and have fun. Close to the dunes and Lake Michigan. Alisha responded to messages very quickly and was very friendly! We hope to rent from her again!

This stay lives up to all of the other positive reviews! Pam and her husband were super responsive! The home was beautiful with great views of the lake. They’ve thought of literally everything even down to all of the light switches being labeled. The space was clean and beds comfortable! The lake is just far enough from nearby towns to be private and quiet, yet close enough that you can go to places like Grand Rapids or Rockford for a nice meal, or Greenville to shop at Marshall’s! At one point, we got locked out and Pam called us and got us back in the house immediately. We stayed here as part of our honeymoon trip and when we got back from dinner one night, Pam had left us a gift basket with all sorts of goodies to celebrate our special occasion! I cannot recommend this host and stay enough!!

Very serene and peaceful. The wrap-around porch pairs beautifully with the heavily wooded and hill-ridden geography. Just down the road is a gorgeous lake and though we did not have the chance to utilize the public lake access, the view at the guardrail on the bend of the road is within walking distance and is a great spot to pull off and enjoy the scenery. Less than 10 minutes away is a great pizza place and a small town bar and grill. There are also a few parks nearby. Highly suggest for a small group looking to escape the bustle, or a group looking for a golf retreat.

Great house, just as described. We were there for a short stay but enjoyed our time. Adam was very responsive and easy to communicate with. Would definitely stay again!

the porch is fabulous. lots of space for everyone. we did not need it, but the secret room was adorable. we would definitely come back again.

Very peaceful area and nice space depicted accurately in the listing and photos. Catherine and Heidi were very responsive and gave great local recommendations. We loved hiking the Dragon Trail despite the weather, and dinner at The Forager was awesome. Also caught a few fish!

This was a lonely stay in the start of fall. The location is perfect for a relaxing time at the lake. House was immaculate and fit my large family very comfortably. Would highly recommend.

We liked Zachary's place so much that we stayed twice! This is a great place to stay, with plenty of parking and space for the group to spread out. We appreciate the quick communication and willingness to make the trip pleasant by keeping the grass mowed and household supplies stocked. Highly recommend!
