I spent a wonderful month in this location - it's clean and comfortable with good wifi for remote working - perfect for what I was after. Maria is a wonderful host who is always responsive and cleaned the place once a week while leaving me nice things for breakfast! She even gave me a lift to and from Catania (c.10km) with my heavy suitcase. Trecastagni is a pleasant town on the slopes of Etna with accessible supermarkets and other essential shops as well as a some nice bars and restaurants and several churches. This location is better for those with private vehicles as the buses to/from Trecastagni are somewhat unreliable and it is a walk of several miles to the nearest train station (Acireale). However for those with vehicles it offers good access to Etna as well as other attractions in the area such as Catania and Acireale.

Wir waren im März mit unserem kleinen Baby dort. Alles war in Blüte und wir fühlten uns wie im Garten Eden. Es ist sehr ruhig, nur wenige Male am Tag fährt ein Zug vorbei. Der Hund ist sehr zutraulich, vor allem mit unserem Baby. Man kann wunderbar ganze Tage auf dem Grundstück verbringen: es gibt einen kleinen Kinderspielplatz, einen schönen Pool mit Aussicht auf die Hügel und Felder, einen Olivenhain, einen Gemüse- und Kräutergarten, eine schöne schattige Terrasse, einen Grillplatz. Ein perfekter Ort für uns als Familie, oder auch für Pärchen oder Freunde. Wir hatten die ganze Unterkunft für uns - wer alleine reist, muss also die Einsamkeit mögen. :-) Das Valle dei Templi in Agrigent ist 40 Minuten mit dem Auto entfernt, sowie einige schöne Strände und die Scala dei Turchi. Kurzum: ein wunderschöner Ort mit super Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis. Die Kommunikation mit den Gastgebern war sehr einfach.

Wir haben eine Nacht hier verbracht. Guiseppe hat uns herzlich empfangen und alles erklärt. Er hat uns auch Tipps für die Umgebung gegeben, wirklich super! Die Wohnung ist schon etwas älter, aber alles hat funktioniert und es war sauber. Zum Frühstück wurden uns sogar Milch und andere „süße“ Dinge bereitgestellt. Mit dem Auto ist man in ca. 10 Minuten in der Stadt und auch die Salzmühle erreicht man in ca. 15 Minuten mit dem Auto.

Our favorite place that we have stayed in Sicily. A retreat from the busy cities but close enough to go and see tourist attractions, the beach and eat wonderful food. We loved sitting quietly and reading as well as walking around the home and of course, the outdoor bbq. Perfect place to eat bbq sunset meals and listen to nature. We felt well cared for, the cottage had everything we needed, recommendations were excellent. Make sure to visit the bakery in Santa Rita! Caltanisetta was also a welcoming and beautiful place. Thank you so much, we hope to return and stay much longer!

Nous avons passé un merveilleux séjour dans le logement de Valentina. Nous avons particulièrement apprécié l’endroit calme et bien situé près de lieux de baignade. En espérant pouvoir y revenir lors de prochaines vacances.

I couldn’t recommend Collesano and Francesco’s house more as a base for discovering this beautiful part of Sicily. If you want to experience the true, unspoiled, and touristically untouched Sicily — yet still be close to beautiful beaches — go for it! It’s a great base for exploring the Madonie National Park, enjoying affordable Italian food, and connecting with the warm and welcoming Sicilian people. Francesco was more than helpful with his advice, and the house is spacious, with a large terrace overlooking the rooftops of Collesano and the mountains. Can’t wait to be back!

Petit cocon de sérénité au calme. Parking facile pour y laisser la voiture indispensable pour se déplacer un peu partout. Alberto et sa femme sont disponibles, à l'écoute et proactifs. Accueil personnalisé qui fait plaisir. Petite terrasse avec possibilité d'étendre son linge à l'extérieur. Logement fonctionnel. A l'ombre, un peu humide en cette saison où les nuits deviennent fraîches mais en été ça doit être top face à la chaleur. Magnifique vue sur la Roca et la mer. Je recommande à 100%.

ottimo soggiorno, alloggio ben posizionato, ottimo rapporto con i proprietari. L'alloggio necessiterebbe forse di piccole manutenzioni che in nessun modo hanno avuto un impatto sul soggiorno.

We loved our stay here! The apartment ist super cozy and very clean and we felt very comfortable here. Roberta was amazing. She was very nice and super accommodating with early check in and late check out. She provided us with lots of snacks and drinks and took the time to give us some great restaurant and sightseeing tips. We definitely recommend staying here on your next trip to Catania!

Wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt! Die Wohnung liegt im Herzen von Cefalu, weshalb Restaurants und Bars sehr schnell zu erreichen sind. Die Küche ist super ausgestattet und zu zweit hat man insgesamt im Appartement echt viel Platz. Wenn wir wieder nach Cefalu kommen sollten, werden wir hier wieder Quartier beziehen.

We enjoyed our stay, the apartment is right in the centre; plenty of restaurants. The apartment was clean and we had a warm welcome 😊 The only drawback is that the apartment is on the 3rd floor; you can only use the lift for the first floor only, it was not easy with the pushchair.

Alloggio impeccabile come lo è stato anche Michele. L'alloggio si trova a 2 passi dal centro, pulito , ben organizzato e dotato di tutti i confort. In complessiva siamo rimasti molto soddisfatti.

We really enjoyed our stay at this house! The location was perfect — close to restaurants, stores, and shops, which made everything super convenient. We especially loved the restaurant right upstairs — not only was the food great, but the view was beautiful too. The host was very welcoming and helpful throughout our stay. They even left us some items for breakfast, which was such a thoughtful touch. Highly recommended!

We loved Marikla's place. It was only ten minutes to Ortigia and there was plenty of parking, and right across from a grocery store. There was a beautiful bike path with stunning views of the sea. Three bedrooms were perfect for us and the kitchen had everything we needed. It was also great to have two full bathrooms!

Massimo was a great host. He met and showed us the parking spot he saved right outside the Airbnb, which is a great help and no stress parking. He was very helpful and showed us around the beautiful apartment and gave great advice of restaurants, bus schedule, etc. The apartment is large, extremely comfortable and clean. We appreciated the strong water pressure in the shower, as the last hotel we were in, there was a trickle of water. Also loved that Massimo provided coffee, milk, snacks, yogurts, and juice. Once we parked the car, it stayed there until we left. We walked down to town, and ended up taking a taxi back. $20. We could have taken the bus, but unfortunately we did not buy tickets ahead of time and the bus was full. If you want a certain return, you will need to purchase ahead of time. They did not allow paying bus driver. What can we say about that view from the apartment. It’s absolutely beautiful. Thank you Massimo

Superklasse Unterkunft in Marsala, um von dort z.B. den Sonnenuntergang in der Saline oder eine Weingutbesichtigung zu erleben. Die Unterkunft war größer als erwartet und supersauber. Zunächst etwas irritiert, Teil des Hauses zu sein, hat uns gerade das am Ende besonders gefallen. Der große Garten mit dem (warmen) Pool konnte ebenfalls genutzt werden. Bereits der Empfang war superherzlich und diese besondere Freundlichkeit hat uns die ganze Zeit begleitet. Wir haben uns mehr als wohlgefühlt und haben die Gespräche sehr genossen. Allerdings nichts für Katzenallergiker, da ca. 20 Katzen ünber das Grundstück laufen. Aber auch das war eine Bereicherung….

The room was exactly as shown in the picures. We staues for one night in mid july. Ragusa Ibla is a cute romantic Spot with beautiful views, good restaurants and surprisingly not crowded. Had a great Stay at Emilio’s place. Would definetly come back!

Giuseppe è stato gentilissimo e chiaro nelle indicazioni per arrivare presso il b&b, ubicato in una zona tranquillissima e comoda sia per il centro che per visitare la Valle dei templi. Giuseppe ci ha consigliato dove mangiare ed è stato sempre disponibile, posto super consigliato!!

Wspaniały pobyt w cudownym miejscu, blisko morza i rezerwatu Zingaro. Przemiła gospodyni, pyszne śniadania, codziennie sprzątany pokój. Zdecydowanie powyżej oczekiwań.

Olga et Vivien ont été adorables, assurément les meilleures hôtes de notre voyage ! Leur accueil est généreux, chaleureux, attentionné. Nous sommes arrivées un peu tard mais avons été reçues comme des reines par Olga et les chiennes de la maisonnée. Le lieu est assez incroyable, il vibre fort avec beaucoup d'animaux, de plantes, de calme, de soin ! Olga cuisine comme une cheffe étoilée et apporte beaucoup de joie et de dynamisme. Vivien est tout aussi attentionnée, toutes deux ne manquent pas d'humour et de bienveillance :) Elles sont riches en recommandation et en expérience. Elles sont curieuses de leurs voyageurs et prennent soin d'eux autant que de leur lieu. Elles ont créé un Bed & Breakfast au sens noble du terme ! C'est une chance de croiser leur chemin. Donnez le temps pour cette belle rencontre ! Grazie Vivien e Olga !

Giuseppe war sogar in brenzlicher Situation sofort hilfsbereit und dabei super freundlich und entspannt! In lebendiger Stadt ein guter Ort, um sich zu erholen- Mobiliar und Architektur sind etwas Besonderes- und Giuseppe auch: immer erreichbar- so tolle und vielseitige Tipps und eben auch freundlich und hilfsbereit in doofer Situation!! Applaus für Giuseppe !
