Stay was nice and relaxing. Lots of beaches to visit in surrounding area and good trails to walk.

We have stayed at this place a few times now and always enjoy our visit. It’s perfect for a big group, has a well stocked kitchen, a cozy fireplace and a wonderful hot tub with views of the beautiful yard. Will be back next year!

We had a wonderful stay at Willow Cottage! The cottage itself was so cozy and clean & the location close to the beach is amazing. It had everything we needed and more, and the hot tub & patio area was the cherry on top! Becky & Scott were welcoming, helpful hosts and we would definitely stay again in the future :)

What a fantastic place! From the view to the hot tub to the really great and well stocked space, we had an amazing stay here with everything that we needed. Even some toys for my toddler! This is a real gem and my only regret is that we didn’t stay longer. I could spend days sitting in the sun room or on the deck watching the wildlife and the view. We will definitely be back! This stay was absolutely beautiful! Such a sweet cottage, in a beautiful, private and peaceful location. So comfy and cosy, at the some time as feeling luxury with the hot tub. Would recommend, and will be staying again! Also, the family of deer that visit are so friendly, just magical. A lot of space to do all of the things I enjoy, fire pit, barbecue and a hot tub!

Great location in beautiful Cowichan valley with access to great hiking (Cowichan bay estuary and Stony Hill were two favourites). Our house was in a quiet location with comfortable bed and furnishings and a private hot tub for an end of day soak. An excellent stay!

We had a wonderful stay at the little house - superb location, amazing host, thoughtful touches to the home and great communication. Pender is magical, and the stay made it perfect.

This is our second visit and we will be back again next year. If you like breathtaking views of the ocean and mountains, your own private beach, the most well maintained hot tub that has the amazing views of the ocean as well along with the sitting spaces outside than this is your place to stay. The views actually start as soon as you enter the front gate. The home is so cozy and clean you feel right at home right away. We fell asleep at night listening to the gentle waves. We saw so many sea lions swim by along with a bald eagle that visited us all day on a tree in the yard! We love Sooke it’s a really nice town to stay and has stores for shopping and groceries minutes away. Maria thank you for being such a great host! Frank and Cheryl

We had a very nice stay at this place. Clean and as described.

Very clean, great communication and we really loved the extra touches throughout the space. Lots of extra items that you may need throughout your stay. Very easy check-in! Was private and would be great in the summer with the nice big deck. Space wouldn’t be ideal for some. We were a group of five mid thirties women that luckily have been best friends since childhood. If you aren’t close with your party and all adults, I’d pick a different space. The only bathroom is off the only real bedroom. The upstairs open loft is the 2nd sleeping area and the two single beds are hard. Price does reflect this.

If you want a sweet little respite away from the rest of the world, this is an excellent spot. Cottage was squeaky clean and had gorgeous views of both water and mountains. The market was super helpful, and they have a great selection of VHS tapes and DVDs available to borrow for a blast from the past. Truly one of my favorite stays I’ve ever had.

We stayed at Heather and Robs place for 3 nights and it was absolute bliss. It was great to be able to bring our dogs and be provided with pet bowls. The house was spacious and perfect for our family of 4. We spend 3 beautiful days on the beaches around the area and truly enjoyed every minute. This was not our first visit to Port Renfrew so we were prepared with food and drinks but as a heads up to anyone not familiar with the area, it is remote and there are not a lot of options to eat out in the off season. We did enjoy a couple meals at the pub but loved having the full kitchen to be able to prepare meals at the house. Highly recommend this place for a getaway. The view is breathtaking from the kitchen, living room and dining area. You could spend all day just watching the wildlife from the comfort of your Airbnb. Thanks so much, Heather and Rob!

Cozy stay :) Jason gave us a heads up that the power in the town was out several hours before our arrival and provided us with updates every hour. He gave us the opportunity to change our plans if needed. We are happy we ended up deciding to still come because the power came back very shortly after arriving. The house heated back up quickly and we had a wonderful time going to some of the places Jason recommended.

We stayed late March for a bit of spring break and the a lovely time. There was no one staying at the main cottage or the campground so we had the entire property to ourselves. It was very peaceful. The property is beautifully maintained with lots of space to explore. The seals were out everyday. Just a couple minutes drive form the grocery store. The kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed.

This won’t be surprising because it’s been said in every review. This place is amazing. To have an acre and a half of private, oceanfront property is rare. We loved everything. Sitting on the deck with a glass of wine listening to the waves come in was sublime. Corinne is for sure the quickest, friendliest, most generous host I’ve encountered through Airbnb. Bathrooms had great water pressure. When we had a little downtime, the TV was big and fantastic. The hikes around the area are just top notch. What people haven’t mentioned though is Corinne doesn’t have a lengthy ‘clean to do list’ for when you leave. I also think people are walking away from Airbnb’s due to price gouging. This place is crazy reasonable and I will come again! Thank you so much for sharing your beautiful home with us!

The street was very quiet. I think there was only one or two other cabins that were being used that week, which means we had a very peaceful stay. We locked out it was also very sunny the entire week. The place was amazing with big windows, it was clean, bright and beautiful. Thank you very much Cheryl. We had a wonderful stay. This place is simply excellent. A very cosy home that the owners have ensured had everything to make you comfortable, and more. Seriously, this place is beautiful and you're very close to the Olympics and other nature areas whilst being quite and private. A great option for family holidays! You can't go wrong here.

We loved our three night stay on Pender. It was peaceful and the cottage had everything we needed. We enjoyed the walks and runs from the cottage in the morning. We would recommend this in a heart beat!

Best little place. Super clean and cosy!!!

We found ourselves in town for a family service and Fiona was the utmost kind and supportive host we could have found. The space was absolutely perfect, spotless, serene, and comfortable. It was exactly as described and made a difficult trip much more easy, especially being by the beautiful ocean. We saw a ton of wildlife so the speed limits are absolutely necessary. Thank you Fiona, we will surely be back in the future.

It was such a chill and cozy spot. The only hiccup we had was with the neighbors. There were five of us just hanging out in the hot tub, chatting and laughing, with the music on at a VERY reasonable volume on a SATURDAY night. Apparently, that was too loud for them, and they even threatened to call the cops! But honestly, the staff handled it great, and it didn’t put a damper on our weekend at all. Besides that, everything went smoothly, and I really enjoyed my time there.

Wonderful hosts, very friendly. Absolutely amazing weekend, would 100% book this place again. The lake was beautiful, and the local food and people were wonderful and friendly.

My husband and I decided to book something last min, and were so glad that we found this place!! This is one of the most amazing airbnb's I have ever seen, and the amenities are far superior than most places. The views are gorgeous and with the hot tub, it just gets better!! We really had the best time here. The host was always super responsive, and all the instructions were crystal clear. This is definitely one of my favorite airbnb homes. We are DEFINITELY going back to this HIDDEM GEM!!! The neighborhood was beautiful and lots of places to explore from here. Everything was TOP NOTCH.

This was our second time staying at Leah’s and it was just as wonderful as we remembered—if not better! We absolutely loved our time, especially spending hours on the dock and paddle boarding. The cabin is beautifully decorated, incredibly comfortable, and so well stocked with everything we needed. Leah is a fantastic host, and it truly feels like a home away from home. We’re already looking forward to our next visit!
