My stay at Missy’s cabin was absolutely wonderful. The cabin is much bigger and far more spacious than I thought. The fireplace by the tv was where I spent my evenings. The kitchen had plenty of snacks that were helpful for my hikes in Shenandoah. And it truly felt like a home when I was there. If I am ever back in Shenandoah, I am staying here again.

This is our second time here and we love it! It’s very beautiful, quiet, peaceful and super comfortable and clean. It’s always great to chat with Pete and Kyle, and with 2 kids at JMU, we hope to come again soon!

Quiet comfortable and close to all areas we visited. Highly recommend! Spacious rooms, comfy bed and beautiful country location.

The apartment is cozy and comfortable. The beds had pillow options which was very nice. The bathroom comes stocked with basic toiletries, one less thing you have to pack. The host respond promptly and recommended some great restaurants. If they need to open the garage (which you are above) while you are there, it is loud. However, this only happened once and they sent us a message warning us before opening it, which was very thoughtful and appreciated! With that said, I would definitely stay here again! We came to see the natural chimneys, a short 15 min drive away through scenic rolling hills and farms. Downtown Harrisonburg is a beautiful 40 min drive away and full of lovely little shops and restaurants. Note: when driving to the house, check that your GPS sends you on Bunker Hill Rd (SR-760) to Big Valley Ln and not down Fairburn Rd. There is a blocked and private driveway which connects Big Valley Ln and Fairburn Rd that appears on GPS as a legitimate road. P.S. don’t use Waze.

We arrived at Jennifer's Airbnb just before a significant snowfall. It looked lovely, and we were happy to get snowed in. Dan was out as soon as the snow stopped falling, snow-blowing, shoveling, and salting the walkways to keep us safe. We have stayed here several times, and it is our favourite getaway.

What can I say. From the second I pulled up in the car, I was greeted and made to feel at home. Visiting from the UK on my own that was very nice to experience. I’d recommend booking a spot at their bar if you get the chance ;-).

We were certainly taken back by the breathtaking scenery and beautiful home. Charles and Cindy's hospitality matched equally! I could write a whole page about our wonderful experience. Simply put though, it was an amazing stay and we are already working on our planning our next trip back! Thank you both so much!

Nalins place was exactly as described. It is huge, quiet, clean and super close to Dulles Airport. We enjoyed staying there very much and can recommend it without hesitation. Beds were super comfortable!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at The Beehive. The location was convenient for a visit with our son. It is located at the end of a cul-de-sac so very quiet environment. The accommodations were extremely clean which is very important to me. The bed felt like we were sleeping on a cloud, the bath was spotless with towels and toiletries, and the comfy living room with fireplace and kitchenette had nice homey touches. I wouldn’t hesitate to stay again. Highly recommend!

This is our second time staying at Liz's beautiful place and it was just as lovely as the time before. Just like last time a couple years back, my girlfriend and I took a trip out to Shenandoah and opted to stay here. It isn't too far from the park (depending on which side you leave from) and the drive there is very pleasant. The place is very private, clean, and spacious. For a shared space, we barely ever knew that there were people above us. The inside was immaculate, and the bed was incredibly comfortable. The shower was very spacious and they even have a heater in the bathroom so that you aren't cold when you leave the shower. A simple, yet awesome amenity. Liz was communicative throughout the entire process. Just like before, my girlfriend and I highly recommend this place or any other of Liz's AirBnBs.

the shower is as advertised, and the bed was very comfortable. Justin was looking out for me with check in time and keeping an eye on the local temperature. the bathroom and bed were, i’m sure, better than any local hotel. it’s a great value, highly recommended!

We would stay here again when we are back in the area.

Aliya's place is perfect in every way and I absolutely loved my stay there! Everything about it makes you feel at home, and Aliya is a very thoughtful and proactive host. The space itself was spotless, the bed is incredibly comfortable, and there's no shortage of entertainment options. Additionally, the gym is much more well-equipped than a traditional hotel gym. Also, the area surrounding the location is very peaceful and the neighborhood includes a scenic walking trail, and there's plenty of restaurant and grocery options an easy 10 min drive away. I would highly recommend staying here, and I would certainly return again when in the area.

Friendly dog helped show us to our door. Very cute little patio that we couldn't take advantage of due to rain. The space is very cute, clean and private, although it is downstairs in the hosts' home so there is some noise. Host texted quickly to answer questions and offer help if we needed it. The Welcome Binder is nice and the simple Spring decorations sprinkled around was a nice touch.

Burke's basement apartment was as advertised. The shared laundry was previously disclosed before booking, however we were not aware that shared laundry meant the home owners had to come into the apartment and through the apartment for laundry. Also, due to the nature of the parking and a different guest, Sarah knocked on the door twice after 10 PM and woke us up even though we were parked in the designated parking space. However, our overall stay was good and the location was excellent. Burke was excellent at responding to questions and was awesome at communicating.

It was the perfect space and location for a getaway weekend! Well designed layout, comfortable, nice detailed touches, and we loved the wallpaper. We could easily walk to restaurants, bars, coffee shops and the Poe Museum. Definitely recommend!

The apartment was very comfortable. Micah thought of every convenience. The coffee options were great and easy to operate. Lots of nice dishes and all we needed for a comfortable stay. Linens were soft and luxurious. Lots of nice space. Neighborhood was quaint and very close to Liberty University, where we came to visit. Micah was very responsive. As she noted in the description, there may be noise from upstairs (little footsteps) because there are children in the home. If you are an early riser, not a problem at all.

Sol and Kelly have a very nice place. It’s perfect for a short stay for a family with kids. My children were so entertained with the different games and toys. I would completely recommend. The space was very clean.

Seth was a great communicator! Loved staying here! Definitely historical! Safe area, would recommend!!!!

This air b&b was very spacious. me and four other guests stayed there for two nights and we all had the space we needed and more. The hosts were also very attentive and made sure we were informed of everything we needed to know about the air b&b and also they provided us with extra activities to do around the area to make our stay enjoyable!

Susan’s place was great! It has a great view, is nicely decorated, and everything worked as advertised. She even gave us homemade scones in the morning.

I enjoyed staying with Kelly and Roy as I was passing through the area. I felt safe knowing that they were in proximity and the Oasis was comfy! They thought of everything you might need and had it available for the guests. Kelly and Roy are very responsive and helped me when i needed some specific questions answered regarding the area. I would definitely stay there again when I come through.
