Good quiet place to stay near Harper’s Ferry. Place was clean, hot tub was nice we were able to watch deer next door and across the street hang out and graze. Everything was in place and clean. Beds were soft and comfortable. The only issue that I have is the rocks that line the driveway especially when turning out of the driveway will catch lower vehicles and cars it caused a little damage to my wife’s car and be careful where you park there is an oak tree with dead and rotting limbs that need to be trimmed that are right above the area where cars would park if you have more than one car. If I were to ever come back to Harper’s Ferry I would definitely stay there again.

This property was everything I wanted and more. My best friend and I spent my birthday weekend here and we were beyond impressed with this beautiful home. It was perfect for what we needed and we felt right at home immediately. The bed was extremely comfortable and so was the couch in the living room. From cozy blankets to the stunning decor, the relaxing hot tub, almost 360 mountain views, I couldn’t have asked for a better bday weekend getaway. Our gracious host, Ashley, was super communicative and all instructions for check-in and check-out were crystal clear. She is an excellent host and I am already excited to come back and stay at this property again!

Perfect weekend getaway for resting and relaxation. We brought both of pups and the fully fenced in yard with the hot tub was perfect to relax but also let them run around. House and amenities were exactly as described. Walkable to a great breakfast spot and a brewery. We noted a few other spots to try next visit. Can’t wait to be back!

Our stay at the cottage was fantastic. In addition to the inviting interior of the cottage itself, the property includes a well-maintained hot tub as well as a fire pit. There is also a pool, though it wasn’t open for the season during our stay. It may seem a minor detail, but the property has a covered patio with outdoor fans and a cafe table where we were able to enjoy morning coffee and a quiet start to our day. The cottage’s proximity to the winery (literally 30 seconds on foot) means that you head over for a tasting whenever the mood strikes you. To be able to enjoy a winery, relax in a hot tub, and wind down near a fire pit all in one location was a real treat. Andrea was both a proactive and responsive host. She provided everything we needed to know prior to arrival and communicated promptly while we were there. We would definitely visit again!

This place was super cute and an easy drive to different places like Shenandoah National Park and Luray Caverns! Unfortunately some of the restaurants and distilleries recommend were closed while we were there but the house was great and Olivia was amazing!

This was a great little getaway place for my family. We really enjoyed the hot tub, the fire pit, and just listening to the stream that runs through the back yard. Everything about this place was so cozy! There was a really nice restaurant nearby called the Stone House.

We had a great time during our stay - really kind and accommodating host and so much fun stuff for the kids to do that the adults could actually relax a little bit!

So comfy and clean! Stayed for a few nights with some friends to forget about life for awhile. Easy walk to town, awesome hot tub on the deck and the grill works great. We left recharged and will def be back!

Kind of bummed I was only here for the one night because this was such a great, comfortable place and near a lot of cool stuff. It was a layover stop on a long drive, but exactly what I needed. So cute and I loved the very secure and private yard for my canine roadtrip partner. I can't get over the awesome spa shower, which was the highlight of my night. The recliner sofa was so comfortable that I unintentionally passed out for most of the night there and then relocated to the bed, which was also lovely. I would definitely look here first if I'm in the area again, and hopefully stay longer to take advantage of the location more. Thank you!

Very peaceful and lots of nature and animals to see

Mary Scott and Mark's cottage was a wonderful little getaway. The cottage was quaint and cozy. Check-in instructions were very clear and our hosts were very responsive. It was a great location with beautiful surroundings and had many things to do within a 20-25 min radius. Downtown Charlottesville and Monticello were close by and were great day activities. We also really enjoyed the Glass House Winery which was about 5 min away. Beautiful home, highly recommend!

My stay at the Pink Cottage was great. It’s cozy and comfortable and so charming. Eli’s painting are beautiful and make the place very special and unique. It’s also very quiet and peaceful. Overall a wonderful experience that I would repeat in a heartbeat!

Billy's has become our hideaway from Northern Virginia over the last 3 years. Love the peace and quiet and natural surroundings. If you love to hike, there are numerous trails to visit and, of course, excellent breweries and wineries nearby as well.

This was a perfect place for a peaceful getaway. The fireplace was a treat, and we had a very cozy stay. It's hard to add to what other reviewers have already said, but here is one detail: on a winter's night, when the moon is down and the sky is clear, the stars are fantastic! Because there is no nearby light pollution, the view from the deck of the night sky is deep and brilliant.

This was my second time staying. It's a very comfortable place to stay, clean and modern. My favorite part is how quiet it is.

Secluded location, nice, quiet and peaceful. There is one house next door but didn’t see or hear anyone the entire time. The property is surrounded by woods and a large creek down below out the back. I have a real Service Dog, Malinois/Lab mix who is also off leash trained and I was able to let her enjoy being a dog for a while roaming the property and woods. The only negative is the lack of window coverings in the bedroom/bath room. To compensate we left the outside lights on at night which worked well to allay our fears. The house was very clean and all of the appliances are quite new and worked very well. The house heater is excellent, the shower has water pressure and hot water for days! The internet and TV worked extremely well and there is good cell phone signal. The road is gravel so a very low clearance sports car might have trouble so don’t bring your Corvette!! The house is less than 10 minutes to downtown Middleburg and has a small Safeway. All in all a great experience.

We had a great time! We were able to get away for a quick trip before the baby arrives which was refreshing!!

Kay was a great host, very responsive, and helpful. The house itself was cozy and clean. It's just outside of SkylitFeive which has lots of beautiful hikes. Highly recommended!

The Peony Cottage was better than what the pictures portrayed. The hosts were very friendly, the beds and linens were nice and comfortable, and the kitchen was well equipped. The cottage was extremely clean, had a thoughtful layout, was in a quiet setting, and had plenty of wood for the outdoor fire pit. The hosts thought of every nice amenity including fresh tulips on the kitchen table! Highly recommend!

I recently had the pleasure of staying at an Airbnb located at Wheatland Farm and Brewery, and it was an unforgettable experience! The setting was absolutely picturesque, with sprawling fields and a charming rustic ambiance that made us feel right at home. The accommodations were comfortable and well-appointed, featuring all the amenities we could ask for. The cozy farmhouse vibe made it the perfect retreat from city life.

Our stay at the Batesville Creek Cottage was a breath of fresh air! It is in such a beautiful setting and it has all the comforts you need. The screened-in porch with the creek in back is relaxing. Alexander, our host, was there right away when we had a snafu with the entry code late at night (our fault.) He was very kind and attentive. The house was well stocked with fresh towels, kitchen extras, & a special treat on arrival. If you love the feeling of a historic home in an idyllic setting, this is the place. Definitely would book again.

Our family had the most incredible stay at the cottage! We were greeted by the adorable Chrissy, the guard dog, and her pack of alpaca. After settling in, Brenda gave us a tour of the property and introduced us to her alpaca. They were incredibly friendly and so much fun to watch and interact with. We stayed here Easter weekend and the cottage was exactly as it was described in the post. The kitchen was fully stocked with everything we needed. We even grilled one night. The bedrooms were spacious with very comfortable accommodations. We stayed here with two young children and their grandmother. Everyone enjoyed themselves! We definitely will be back!

Morgan was extremely responsive. We loved the cottage experience, esp since we also had full use of the outdoor space, inc around the main house. True serenity. My mom didn’t want to leave her room behind. Gordonsville is a great location and we barely made a dent in all the things we wanted to do. Drove to Lake Anna one day which wasn’t bad at all. Only con is that the price seemed similar to lakefront properties and/or full houses (I.e. full kitchen). Since it was neither, felt the price could have come down.
