We loved our stay in Waddy. We spent our first day in Bardstown before heading to Airbnb. Then finished our trip in the Frankfort area. It was within 15-20 minutes of Frankfort and only about 50 minutes from Bardstown. We did try to get an Uber on a Saturday night into Frankfort and were unable to secure a ride. I do think if we scheduled it we would have had more success, however. I really loved the location of this spot. It is so peaceful and away from the hustle and bustle. I will say, however, if you want something in close proximity to the distilleries, might be worth staying in Frankfort or another town. Thankfully we had DDs so it was no issue for us! The backyard was our favorite part, by far. The kitchen had everything we needed really. Would definitely return!

Well. We didn’t (yet) have the pleasure of staying at Chell’s lovely home in Shelbyville - due to the terrible storms our flights were cancelled - but I have never had a better experience with communication about this situation and she has been more than helpful and we will be rebooking our trip when the weather is more agreeable. I will stay - we have stayed in most of the houses for rent in downtown Shelbyville and I was super excited to try her home out (set up and location seems perfect for our needs). I look forward to getting to stay in her beautiful home in the near future!!!

This place was a little bit of heaven and it was extremely clean and just as discribed in the listing. And the backyard was amazing. It is perfect for couples or families with plenty of room. My husband and I really had a peaceful stay and we really got to relax after having very busy lives. We were looking for an overnight stay for an emergency early morning veterinarian visit in Louisville. Amy's place was perfect for our needs. There is a private area in back for pet needs and the parking is private and very safe in back of the house. The kitchen is very large and has too many amenities to name. There is a drip coffee machine in the kitchen, as well as a single and double French Press, there is also a Keurig in the master ensuite sunroom. Perfect for our early departure. Taylor, our host, was very responsive. Even arranging for an early check-in. The two mattresses we slept in were Tempur-Pedic, and while seeming firm at first molded to the body. We are used to road and railroad noise so that didn't bother us at all, especially since we both use a white noise app on our phones. The trip into Louisville in the morning rush hour only took us 20 minutes. We are very appreciative of the hospitality of Amy and Taylor.

My family enjoyed the stay at this home very much. There was plenty of space and more than enough bedrooms. The home was well equipped with everything they needed to have away from home. My daughter said she would highly recommend this home to travelers visiting Shelbyville, Louisville and Lexington areas for the various activities and events in Kentucky.

Judy's home in Shelbyville is absolutely gorgeous!!! Each room is UNIQUE and VERY tastefully decorated; some even a work of art! If I could give a 10 star rating, I absolutely would! The home was impeccably clean and well maintained. Check-in was a breeze! The neighborhood is quaint and peaceful with downtown shops and great restaurants close by. Judy is a wonderful host who goes above and beyond the call of duty to be helpful, friendly and responsive to ones needs. The fenced in back yard with fire pit and hot tub were a bonus to this exceptional home! The amenities are endless with everything one might need for a comfortable and relaxing stay! Our thanks to you Judy for helping to make our girls trip one we will never forget!

Stayed here for a girls weekend with my sister & nieces. We all loved the property - location, amenities, beautiful design, and very spacious! Literally everything was on point. Quick & clear communication. The neighborhood is so fun with everything in walking distance. Plenty of parking if needed, and the attached garage made coming and going even more convenient if you need to venture outside of the neighborhood. Would definitely stay here again. Highly recommend. We had a wonderful time!

We had a great stay after a concert in Iroquois Park. The host responded to all of our questions right away. We loved that the location was so close to attractions and restaurants but was still a quiet and peaceful neighborhood. Would definitely recommend for anyone looking for a place to stay in Louisville.

Christine's guest home is very unique and cozy space. It is located on a working horse farm and has a big pool and hot tub for guest use. Christine was a very responsive and accommodating host, she was always around and responsive. I travel to the area often to visit family and I will definitely be staying here again!

Kim helped me get reservations set up for my parents anniversary, for the second year in a row. She is extremely kind and helpful, and my parents loved her place and the area so much they went back! Very clean and nice place, plenty of extra amenities, beautiful views of the lake and surrounding area and wildlife, good restaurants within driving distance, and plenty of privacy and a feeling of safety and calm! Thank you again Kim from all of us, especially my very happy parents!

We had a wonderful time staying at Jared’s cottage! Felt right at home! There was an issue with the hot tub but he had someone come out right then and there to take care of the issue. Very responsive and flexible!

AMAZING! We decided to break up our drive home from NC to WI with a stay in the Louisville area & came across the Airstream when searching. It was close to absolute perfection for our family of 5. The Airstream itself was super adorable, well appointed, and looked just like the pictures. We had plenty of room. What really made it amazing was the farm! I have a horse lover and a cat lover & in general, all my kids love animals. We were able to have many up-close & personal experiences with the horses & my kids loved playing with the friendly cats & dogs. They were out with the animals in their pajamas right after waking in the morning & didn't want to leave! The hosts were very responsive, helpful, & friendly. The only downfall was the train track next to the property. The weather was beautiful, so we had the windows open & were awoken to the train going by overnight a few times. The kids slept through it though! Overall, it was well worth the experience & memories we made! Thank you!

We had a hiccup at the beginning but Shane responded quickly and remedied it. The place was perfectly sized for our needs and in a convenient location for the bourbon trail area.

This a beautiful place! There's horses, trails, the sunset is absolutely amazing and all the stars. Cindy was very nice and responsive. Plus everything is within 10 minutes if you need to buy anything. This is a great getaway!

My stay at Angus’s house was great. The house is in a beautiful neighborhood. His home is absolutely gorgeous. I felt right at home. There is everything in the home that we needed. It actually felt like we were staying in a home, not a ‘hotel feel house’. Angus replied right away to any questions & was very happy to provide any information. The icing on the cake was he is dog friendly. We were in town for a dog show so it worked out perfectly. If I ever find myself in Shelbyville again, I will be staying again!

A friend and I rented Sea Glass Farm for four nights in late April '25 to go bicycling and tour distilleries. The property was perfect for what we wanted to do. It *is* a ways away from pretty much everything, but was also in the middle of the places we wanted to visit. The house was very comfortable for us, and David was always responsive to any questions we might have had. We also appreciated the impressive collection of bourbon glasses on hand. The cycling was fabulous - good roads, beautiful scenery, and light traffic. Alas, AirBnB won't let me share the links of the routes I prepared that left from the house, but you can use heat maps on RideWithGPS to create your own.

We traveled to Frankfort to celebrate my husband’s retirement on a recommendation from some fellow employees that lived in the area. I started my search and found the perfect place. It felt like home my home, I knew it would be big enough to accommodate my family and friends . It was the week after the flood and I was very concerned that we couldn’t go to BT and Brittany was very accommodating, reassured us that it would be okay but would assist in a refund if we wanted to go that route. She was right, we found plenty of things to do and see! We came in to find my daughter and husband already in the hot tub and we found the house super clean , nicely equipped and the “ extra touches” to welcome us of snacks and the fully stocked coffee bar!
