What a perfect place to stay for a golf weekend with the guys. The property has spectacular views and is very secluded. The house itself is beautiful and has an amazing amount of room and an amazing deck that we thoroughly enjoyed. And within driving distance of many activities. Definitely recommend this place!

We absolutely loved our stay at Natalie's summer kitchen! Everything was exactly as described and then some. Between the easily accessible location to everywhere I wanted to go around the Lexington area, the beautiful surroundings of the peaceful farm, the farm animals, and the spacious and perfectly decorated two room house, we can't wait to return!

We had a wonderful stay at this home. Our family gets together over the Easter weekend each year and our primary entertainment is bike riding and hiking. There is a large park that is super close to this home that has both a wonderful paved bike trail and multiple hiking trails so this worked out perfectly for us. It was also easy to reach downtown Louisville for additional biking and walking trails. Communication with Ross was great!

Great Place! Will definitely stay there again next year if we have the same amount of people traveling with us.

A wonderful spot for a relaxing weekend away. Between the outdoor fire place, hot tub, back deck, game garage, 3 wrap around porches, and cozy living room, you will never run out of places to kick your feet up or have some fun. The cabin is both beautiful and feels clean. The host was very nice. The neighborhood allows for a feeling of privacy. Tons to do on site. Would highly recommend

The Coop is on a beautiful farm. We walked around and looked at the gardens, sheep, & chickens. Comfortable beds, nice porch and deck for dining and relaxing. The Coop is located far enough in the country to enjoy the peace and quiet but still close to town for dining and shopping. The town of Goshen was clean and the people friendly. Dave and Margaret are excellent hosts and we would love to come back for another stay. They left us eggs, muffins, sausage and even coffee and creamer. Thanks and blessings to both of you!

We LOVED our time here. It was perfect. So peaceful. The cabin was so cozy and clean. It was decorated very cute. It had everything we needed. We loved it!! The owners were so nice and responsive. There was a boil water advisory while we were there (due to the floods), and they brought us bottled water. Definitely a place I want to come back to.

I’ve stayed in many AirBnbs and this was the most unique, beautiful and homey. I’ve actually never seen a place that showed so much admiration for its surroundings and honored its history as this cottage does. When you come here, take good care to look at all of the details - they remind you that you have found your new Kentucky home. The surroundings are peaceful and quiet. You will literally feel your heart slow down. Many thanks to John who was helpful and communicative before, during and after my stay. Perfect host.

The house is just as described. It is a beautiful and charming house in a picturesque setting. Our group enjoyed the decor including many antiques.

We had a wonderful time at Katherine’s!!! What an amazing place!! Everything there was over the top!! From the house details, to all the things that Katherine had there for us , it was all very much appreciated!!! Her lasagna and breakfast casserole was great to have these made ahead!! We’re already planning our next trip back!!!!!

Over the weekend my (now) husband and I decided to get married on this property and it was nothing short of perfect for us. The cabin is beautiful and they spared no expense to make it comfortable & luxurious. You can really tell how much love & thought went into the cabin. I'm usually begging for my own bed after being away from home and not once did I miss my usual comforts. The grounds are GORGEOUS & represent the most beautiful parts of Kentucky countryside. There is a cow & about 50 chickens on site & all of our guests went to say hi at some point. The property is so quiet (besides the birds and the occasional crowing of a rooster) and it was easy to take a deep breath and sigh in relief. Susan & Berard are the SWEETEST & so accommodating. They provided us with 30 chairs, tablecloths, napkins, a delicious veggie tray & fruit bowl, and 18 farm fresh eggs (in this economy?!). They made sure we had everything we needed & our wedding weekend was perfect thanks to their generosity.

Beautiful Barndo home with all the amenities! The home was immaculate, the kitchen spacious and the bedrooms were super cozy. It was a great trip with friends and seeing the sights that Kentucky has to offer. Highly recommend this home, the host is super responsive and very nice; wish we could have met them in person. The hot tub was a great way to end the evening after seeing the sights in Lexington and Louisville and appreciate the recommendations for restaurants in the area.

This is a piece of heaven on earth! Beautiful views - rolling hills of bluegrass and blue skies- all from a house that is extremely clean. The beds are comfy too. The owner has made sure you have everything you need for a perfect stay. If you snag this place you will be counting your blessings. It’s peaceful, quiet and close to the Ark encounter.

“If my words did glow with the gold of sunshine”…The Ripple Inn was an awesome cabin with a lot of the amenities of home. That comes in handy when traveling with a little one. Upon arrival check in was super easy, the place was clean, and the hot tub was ready for use. Cell service was spotty but wifi solved that problem. Gas and charcoal grills for outdoor cooking options. Great view pretty much surrounding the property. Host was responsive and very descriptive with directions, check in/out instructions, as well as with suggestions of things to do locally. “Reach out your hand, if your cup be empty” and fill it with some of the sweet nectar being made at one of the near by distilleries.

We had an amazing stay at Persimmon Ridge! The house was spotless, well-stocked with everything we needed, and had so many fun things to do. We especially loved playing pickleball and spending time in the golf simulator room. The host was incredibly responsive, kind, and accommodating—everything you’d hope for. The location was perfect for our bourbon tours, and we enjoyed some fantastic food nearby. Overall, we had a blast and would absolutely stay here again!

Lucky Shoe is a great place to stay in the Shelbyville area. I highly recommend it.

We really enjoyed our stay. The house and location were perfect for us. Julie was so helpful and fun. She gave our kids food to feed their animals, allowed them to go to their home and see their new chicks and she visited us to give us plenty of great ideas of things to do in the area. We tried many of those ideas and her suggestions were great. We would love to stay at her place again.

Great spot. A lot of recreational space. Very responsive hosts. Close to a Walmart, which was great. Couldn’t think of a better spot if you are doing the Bourbon Trail.

Chickapoo Farm is a hidden Gem in Kentucky! My mother, myself, and my two daughters had a wonderful stay at The Horse and The Hound. The views of the sunrise and sunset were perfect. The home is right next to the flower farm. We loved seeing all the flowers. There are great trails to walk on, delicious grass fed beef for purchase, a stocked pond for fishing, and the option to pick your own flower arrangement. The hosts were unbelievably kind and quick to respond to any questions and concerns. We will definitely be planning another visit.

Our whole family had an amazing stay at this comforting farm house. Stephanie was very helpful with everything, from recommending some local places that would be good choices for us, to giving us a heads up about a potential storm. I cant say enough about her. She was a great host! The property is also amazing. Don't miss out on taking a hike while you are there. Our kids and dogs both had a blast walking along the creek! It was definitely a trip every one of us will remember. We are looking forward to another visit!

This place was a little bit of heaven and it was extremely clean and just as discribed in the listing. And the backyard was amazing. It is perfect for couples or families with plenty of room. My husband and I really had a peaceful stay and we really got to relax after having very busy lives. I highly recommend this rental. if I could have given this rental more than five stars I would have
