Great host, great house, great location! This is a very private house that is not far from town, only 20 minutes from the ferry. The house is clean, well appointed and spacious. It’s right on the water which gives hours of enjoyable relaxing both day and night. Speaking of night, you haven’t seen a night sky like this, it’s really amazing! This home was the perfect temporary home base for me and my family as we explored southern Nova Scotia. The host is excellent at communicating clearly. My family of 4 was more than comfortable during our stay here. We’d definitely stay again! Thank you for a great stay!

We had a struggle with the mortgage company for a home that had purchased near Yarmouth, but this made the hassles easier to deal with and it was a great location to get out and meet our new neighbors

This place had everything and then some. A full kitchen with every thing you would need to cook with a dishwasher. More than enough towels which was nice for our long stay. Washer & Dryer on site, dryer takes a bit long but it beats having to go to a laundromat. Extra sheets, blankets and pillows if required. We had our 2 boys (5 and 3) and they had enough room to play, and the bedroom upstairs has a closet with toddler beds which they loved “their playhouse”. The owners live next door, so I knew if I needed anything, they would be able to support us. There is a Tim Hortons up the street and several restaurants (keep note that places close early), Yarmouth isn’t too far away if you want to get out.

Outstanding host by far, we had some staff stay about a month ago at Martha's home. They loved it so much they requested to go back when returning to Barrington passage. Even though it was a 3 night minimum she worked with us to accommodate for the time needed and even called me personally to work out something for us. what amazing customer service, could not of have had a better host than Martha. THANK YOU, keep doing what you are doing. ☺

My family had an excellent stay at Kelly’s Airbnb. It was clean, quiet, cozy, and warm. They left wonderful local recommendations and Kelly was friendly and accommodating. Would love to stay again! Highly recommend staying at this Airbnb!

It is an excellent place to relax and enjoy the surroundings. The property is well-kept and tastefully decorated. The kitchen is awesome, and the ocean view is astonishing. However, more artificial light could be added to the kitchen to improve visibility at night.

Such a cool place to stay! Robert’s place was clean, comfortable, and had everything I needed. Super easy walk into downtown Yarmouth for food and shops. Would highly recommend to other travelers, especially if you need a kitchen or some space to spread out!

Loved our stay at Eric and Dawns beautiful house! A very short distance to the Summerville beach, and the house is well equipped for everything you would need. My kids especially loved the binoculars to look out at the water, and the colouring books left for them.

Have stayed at Allen’s places several times. Always great communication! Would definitely recommend

Samera has a beautiful Airbnb , the surroundings were lovely, the location was very central and we were able to walk everywhere. The Airbnb was very clean and I would highly recommend to any guest visiting Yarmouth.

We booked to stay in Shelburne over Christmas as our daughter is doing an internship there .We were very pleased with accommodations , very modern and clean . Jerry was very responsive to all communication . I would highly recommend staying here and certainly will book again for our next visit .

Great spot to stay! Quick walk to the boardwalk, nearby restaurants and parking. The house was clean and spacious. Backyard was private and my kids loved it!

Some guidance on how to operate fan, lights, the black lamp in the lounge and notes for use of fridge and microwave would have been helpful. (They are working on this so should not be a problem next year). Paper towels or a dry cloth for drying washed fruits and another absorbent cloth for wiping the bathroom vanity would be useful. Towels and bedding were luxurious and soft. The bed was the most comfortable bed I have ever slept in. I plan to buy the same mattress now I have been spoiled! Thoroughly enjoyed my stay. Great location, attentive hosts and perfect accommodation for one or two as long as you are happy with eating out and ‘take out' meals (I recommend The LaHave Bakery for both). However, don’t miss out on Anne’s baked delights and her amazing quiche, and John's coffee is wonderful. Oh, and the delicious soups! Again a treat not to be missed! All available from 10 - 3:30 downstairs when the café is open, which was Thursday to Sunday while I was there.

Steve was a wonderful host to us during our stay in Shelburne. His place was immaculate and very comfortable. As soon as we entered this airbnb we knew it was our home away from home. It has a lovely modern feel in a historic home, perfectly appointed with comfortable bedding, bathroom linens, and fully equipped kitchen. The balcony overlooks a quiet backyard and is the perfect spot for a relaxing barbecue and glass of wine. The property sits in the heart of historic Shelburne and is only steps away from a breathtaking stroll along one of the prettiest Harbours in Canada - some of the most incredible sunsets happen right there,.. and if you see one you’ll never forget it. It’s close to restaurants, a lively bistro with delicious lattes, museums and so much more. We truly did not want to leave … but we’ll be back. Many thanks Steve!!!
