Sometimes you stay in places that are nice but you think your home is nicer, so it’s all a bit pointless. Well, not this place. The cabin is tastefully decorated, with small touches that have been thought through and considered - like the choice of books (not often you see Jumpa Lahiri in a collection!), the lighting, the comfy bed, the shower, etc. It’s all fabulous. The brook outside is soothing and the surrounding walks are beautiful. I’d love to come back in the autumn, when the leaves are turning and we get to light the wood burner. It’s rare that I get the ‘moving out of London’ fantasies - but this place certainly made me have a few!

Amazing place, great hosts. Had a really nice weekend here. Place is in such a nice location there wasn’t any need to go out anywhere. Loved the stay!

The pod was stunning. Such a beautiful location and Katie was so friendly and helpful. It was a great way to spend my birthday celebrations with my partner! I would 100% return and recommend to friends and family. Thanks again!

Ideal little get away. I ended up going on my own and needed a quiet retreat. It is close enough to others that I didn't feel isolated, but wasn't bothered at all whilst there. Lovely spot looking over the lake and the fields beyond and a cosy cabin. Pretty much everything I needed, thank you for the welcome pack. I would agree that a stove top would be useful in the kitchenette. Hot water pressure is also very low. Great for the dog, but be aware if you bring dogs, that the area is not fully fenced and there is livestock around. Will definitely be returning, thank you 😊

The cottage was amazing as well as the hot tub!! They provided towels, and body wash which was great! They also provided coffee and tea facilities, with an added brucey bonus of a bottle of wine. Which was a great touch. We would definitely recommend 👌

Ita and Michael were very welcoming, responsive and helpful and they made us feel right at home, the property is beautiful with great amenities and in such a stunning location, we could not recommend staying here enough!

We stayed just for one night and it was perfect for our needs - a really lovely stable renovation with beautiful views from all windows. We enjoyed walking our dog up in the woods. Everything we needed for a lovely stay - would definitely go back.

We loved our stay at Woodward Lakes. It was so incredibly comfortable and the views are amazing. There's wonderful wildlife and the landscaping is really lovely. There's a huge deck to soak up the sun and Andy has thought of everything to make the stay perfect. Everything is high quality, from the crockery to the bedding and the interior is luxurious. We can't wait to return!!

Great cabin- had everything we needed for a lovely few days away. The location was great to explore local areas and lovely walks nearby. We recommend the heights of Abraham and lovely black rocks trail parkrun (if you are here on a Saturday). Host was lovely and very responsive when messaging! Very much enjoyed our time in Crich!

Emyr is fantastic host, very friendly and helpful. The whole area is so beautiful with lovely walks around the corner of Emyr's guesthouse. the caravan was spotless clean and equipped in everything u need and even more e.g. toiletries, towels and basic food basket on arrival. Beds were comfortable and the electric radiators helped to keep warm as the British weather can surprise. we feel very safe and our dog love the fields. the caravans are set up in good distance to each other so privacy is guaranteed. TV and WiFi was very useful when relaxing after miles long walk in the forests.

Paul’s place is exactly as he advertises, a fun and comfortable man cave (though women are allowed too!). The pull-out bed was comfortable for my gf and me. The place was clean, the TV was big, the underfloor heating worked, and most importantly for us, we were able to bring our dog with us. Not many other places in Sheffield let you do that, so it was a perfect place for our stay.

Finding the lodge was easy, but only if you use the post code and directions Rebecca sends. If you use your Sat Nav you will never find the lodge. Rebecca responded quickly to messages and although we didn't meet, I felt she was a lovely host. The area is very quiet and great for walking, either with or without dogs. The lodge was comfortable, clean and a good base for the Derbyshire dales. We would love to stay here again. Thank you Rebecca x.

What a beautiful, peaceful, hidden gem! We arrived early & the accommodation was ready. It was spotlessly clean. Beds were comfy & linen beautiful. Lots of lovely touches that made it home from home. We loved every minute of our stay in Sarah's accommodation, everything was easy to find/use as her instructions were perfect. We will be recommending her place to family/friends for sure. If you are looking for a place to stay away from hustle & bustle this is it! Ideally located for walking/cycling, not far from the Dovedale stepping stones. Highly recommend for all 😃

We were looking for somewhere to stay in walking distance from the centre of Marsden. A Place in the Pennines fitted the bill perfectly. Hannah has made use of every inch of the cabin to provide comfort and convenience. We only stayed for one night but would definitely return. We would recommend it to anyone who is looking for some peace and tranquility but with access to a great village and places of interest.

What a fantastic stay! A perfect escape for our Christmas getaway. The location was great, easy to find and with plenty of walking routes departing from Crich. Clear and detailed information on local routes and places to visit were provided within the useful manual located in the log cabin. The log cabin was immaculately presented and well equipped. The attention to detail was second to none, even our fur babies received a goodie bag. The Hosts were very accommodating and flexible with regards to check in timings (we arrived early) and very helpful regarding a forgotten item. Strongly recommend Saints Meadow, great location and OUTSTANDING value. We will definitely stay here again!

Beautiful location and exactly as described. Very clean and spacious and perfect for multiple guests. The only minor negative was one of the beds wasn't particularly comfortable.

We stayed for two nights and absolutely loved the space. I honestly can't say what was more lovely—the interior or the outdoor area! Lovely little cabin with easy parking. Perfect for a small family. Theresa and hosts were very helpful and responded very quickly. Little pint of milk in the fridge. Full ice tray and tea and Coffee jars were full. Felt very welcome. Would recommend highly

Idilc Getaway - Felt homely. Short walk (<15min) from Station and Centre of Marsden. Great Café across the canal. Not awfully secluded, lots of walkers passing by. While no balcony like others, made up for by big spacious windows. Space for Car Parking on site. Pre-made Fire and Flowers are lovely touches, besides very minor cleaning oversights that didn’t interfere, great place, sleeping 4 would be a squeeze for 1

We had a great time at Wootton house, bedroom downstairs was good for our old parents and fire place was a plus point. Wifi was perfect manage to do some work on my laptop and one zoom meeting without any issue. Enjoyed the hot tub. Just 2 points, not negative points, just a heads up, if you are visiting make sure you check in through the link before you travel, it’s nightmare if you try to check in when you arrive there, as there is no reception or check in desk and make sure you bring extra toilet rolls and hand wash with you. Other than that we really enjoyed our break. 4 adults 2 seniors and 2 young kids.
