Great stay. Joseph the caretaker was great help getting my driver to the location, as he met us at the junction to guide us in. The place is in a secluded neighborhood, and is beyond quiet. I've stayed in many places in Ghana, and none quite as quiet and serene as this home. The birds are the only noise in the vicinity, I didn't hear anyone sweeping (which generally doesn't bother me), no calls to prayer or all night revivals from neighboring religious institutions. The place was clean and well kept. The look is elegant but African modern and very comfortable. The living room/hall areas are plush and comfortable, the fans and lighting is superb in both the hall areas and the bedrooms. There are motion detector and various setting lights in all the rooms, providing different experiences as your needs desire. I definitely enjoyed the blue lighting in the bedrooms and main stair case at night, easy on the eyes. The kitchen was practical and there were no issues with the accommodations once we got to the market to get food. A great, peaceful, and comfortable experience. Will definitely stay here again the next time I'm passing through cape coast/elmina. It's truly a jewel.

This place is as advertised. Nothing beats it. Attah the twins are very swift with solving issues and Millicent is very understanding. I will definitely be back for the third time.

למי שמי מחפש פינה של שקט ושלווה- הגעתם למקום המושלם. הגעתי לבית של מתיאס אחרי שגרתי כבר חודש בכפר וחיפשתי שקט אמנם יש כמה דק הליכה אבל לדעתי זאת הזדמנות להסתובב ולראות, ולקבל שקט ופרטיות בסוף כל יום. כמו בכל מקום בכפר, אפילו לבית לפעמים רעשי הכפר (או מהכפר השכן) אבל בהחלט זה הנקודה הכי שקטה ונעימה שאפשר לדמיין או לרצות! המטבח מאובזר וכיפי, יש מקרר ואפילו סוללה סולארית למקרה שנופל החשמל בכפר מה שקורה המון וזה מדהים שאצל מתיאס עדיין יש חשמל!! זה לא מתאים למי שמחפש להיות דקה ממסעדות או מהחוף, אבל האמת היא שזה לא יותר מ5 דק הליכה לחוף.. בעיניי מאוד מאוד שווה את זה צריך לקחת בחשבון שאם לא שוכרים את כל הנכס אז התחושה היא מאוד שחולקים בית משותף, לי היו את השותפים הכי מהממים ונהנו ביחד מאוד! אבל שומעים בין החדרים (כמו בכל מקום בבוסואה!) כך שזה לא הפריע בכלל ומאוד כיבדנו את הפרטיות והשקט של כל אחד אבל כן צריך להבין את זה. דניאל השומר של הבית עוזר בהכל כולל באוכל כששוכחים בערב לקנות ורעבים בבוקר😅 אל תחששו מסחיבת הציוד לבית מהכביש- גם בזה דניאל עוזר! בקיצור נהנתי תודה♥️

Droomachtig verblijf, als je van natuur houdt zijn er niet veel dingen die dit kunnen toppen. Een met de natuur maar toch het gevoel dat je niet per se aan het kamperen bent. We hebben een fijne tijd gehad hier.

this was my second time booking this Airbnb. it is exactly as described in the pictures and the host and caretaker are very hospitable and accommodating. This place is perfect for foreigners. It's safe and secure. Has everything you need to retreat from the heat (fans, AC, cold/hot shower). The Smart TVs may not have what you want to watch, but you can sign into your streaming account or bring a fire stick. Just know that Prime only allows a limited line up overseas. But if you have a VPN you can connect to U.S. and get full access. Also, I rented lower level for a few weeks, added second bedroom for my mom for a couple of days and the whole house for Christmas. My family likes meeting different people and don't mind sharing common spaces. But if you like complete silence and privacy, you would want to rent the whole house. Bring towels, toiletries and cleaning supplies. The only thing I didn't like is the road to the house. It's long, uphill and mostly uneven dirt and gravel. So hiking sandals and shoes are best. Also, be prepared to pay an average of 15 GHS from the junction to get to most local places. Sometimes a little more for them to pick you at the house. You probably do want to get a driver's# if you want to cut out the 15 min walk down hill. But the hosts are great. They work fast to resolve any issues that may arise. For me, service is everything. So I'd definitely consider this place again for future stays.
