Karen’s place is incredibly spotless and nicely decorated. The rooms are spacious with kitchen and bathrooms fully loaded. Beds are comfy and linens are comfortable. You won’t be disappointed. The check in was flawless once you get past finding the actual location & parking. It is a bit tricky, despite Karen’s great instructions. I must’ve missed the part where the front exit is right on the main highway in Parksville. It is very loud and the beds do shake with traffic passing by. Two of the bedrooms have no windows which felt a bit “dungeon”. The place feels like maybe it was a store front or office buildings before becoming living space. All in all, a great space just a few details lacking in the building description. Location to the beach, town and playground is awesome, you couldn’t get any closer. Parksville is so lovely. A quick drive to Coombs for a fun afternoon! Value wise we felt like we got to enjoy our stay without feeling financially taken advantage of. Thanks!

The attention to detail made this interior space feel welcoming and inviting from the moment I arrived. I can't think of a thing that could have made it nicer. The views were everchanging with a variety of weather patterns during my stay. The ocean and sky were so interesting, even dramatic at times. From the windows I saw eagles, seals and the herring season that came and went, turning the water a tropical blue. So funny to see, when we know the ocean is freezing this time of year. Fishing boats were there a few days, taking their catch. Then walking in the neighbourhood, even the occasional deer to surprise you. So many paths to the beach to walk along the rocky shore when the tide is out. Daytrips are easy to go to everything, from this location. Just a short drive to the main highway and you can see so many interesting things available on central Vancouver Island. I imagine in the summer it would be even lovelier. The hosts were so friendly and helpful.

Really nice responsive host. Very clean & modern room with a nice view. This was my second time stay at the property and I absolutely love it and will definitely be visiting again soon. The pools and other amenities are very clean and easy to find. The staff on property are very kind and helpful as well.

Travis was a fantastic host. We rented both A&B suites which was perfect for our family of 4 (2 adults, 2 teenagers) The suite was clean and had extra blankets which were nice to use while sitting on the deck overlooking the ocean with our glasses of wine. Hot tub and workout facilities were good. The walking paths right outside the building were our favorite - takes you out to the ocean to play in tidal pools - so much fun! We would love to stay again next time we're in the area! It's a beautiful gem in a central location to Parksville and Nanaimo!

Even better than the pictures. Amazing view, thoughtfully appointed, and comfortable king sized bed! The property has wonderful amenities including a restaurant, gym, and spa - but it has a small intimate feel. We just wish we could have stayed longer. Hope to come back to this beautiful spot!

Home away from Home, is how I would describe this. From the moment we walked in, we felt like we were not only welcomed there but that we could feasibly own this place. We stayed a total of 5 nights, and were began to feel sad after the 4th night, knowing we would have to leave. Being literal steps from the ocean made for beautiful sunsets and serene mornings. The area is fairly well protected from winds as we were facing a North-West direction. The indoor pool, hot tub, gym and games room are all within a quick 3-minute walk. The indoor pool is very large with a large shallow area for the kiddo's. Indoor pool has a Dry Sauna as well. The hosts, Kimberly and John, are very communicative. There is a provided binder with local amenities and Places of Interest. We took their suggestions and had a wonderful time getting to know the area! All-in-all, we thoroughly enjoyed our time here. We have officially decided that we will be making Vancouver Island our yearly destination.

John’s place was fantastic. Easy check-in and quick to answer any questions. My wife and I really appreciated the size of the condo and all the amenities. The fireplaces, jetted tub, comfortable king bed, well equipped kitchen and beautiful patio. We took advantage of the on-site amenities including the gym, pool, outdoor hot tub, trails and restaurant. Our stay was awesome and John made us feel right at home. Highly recommend this gem of a condo in beautiful Nanoose Bay.

Mooie, ruime en schone Airb&b. Charles en Vanessa zijn ontzettend vriendelijk en doen er alles aan om je welkom en thuis te voelen. Veel tips gekregen over wat er te doen is in de omgeving. Zeer zeker een aanrader om te verblijven!

We had a fabulous time with our kids at Andrew’s house, it’s situated in a lovely quiet setting with a balcony to take in the magical views of the beach. The house had everything we needed, to enjoy our stay. We had a short walk to the beach and lovely walk in the forest. All local shops within 5mins drive in Parksville and would also hugely recommend the Parksville community park for the kids to burn off energy. I would hugely recommend The Mount Arrowsmith Brewery for lunch , great service .

We had such a nice and relaxing getaway at Dana’s place. The kids loved being able to walk down to the beach and had some board games to play by the fire on rainy afternoons. Everything was clean and the beds were very comfortable! Would love to stay again.

Bench 170 is a very special spot. As my nephew said on arrival, it's 10 out of 10. The house is beautiful and everything was of top quality, the proximity to the beach so great, and we've never experienced such thoughtful touches in all our combined travels. The home had everything we could anticipate, including laundry facilities, pantry items, toys for kids. It was a great combination of a gorgeous holiday home and it being a comfortable livable spot.

Very clean and tidy, exactly as described. Responsive and helpful host, beautiful view, and enjoyed the various birds and deer. Highly recommend!!

A lovely tranquil space with a large deck looking out to sea. Beautiful details, wooden finishing, and lots of character in the room. There were thoughtful details such as lots of towels, some tea bags and coffee. It was very peaceful and quiet and a short walk to the beach. Charlie was very responsive and is a warm and welcoming host.

One of the best Airbnb experiences we have ever had. Amazing peaceful location. Large open plan with lots of separate seating areas. Fully equipped kitchen with quality pots and pans. We will most definitely try to return and book again for another week of paradise. Daily we see sea lions and seals, many birds, and one day we saw dolphins.

I recently stayed at Ashley's place, and it was an exceptional experience! The property was exactly as described (and even better in person). It was spotless, cozy, and equipped with everything I needed for a comfortable stay. The attention to detail in the décor and amenities made it feel like a home away from home. The location was perfect, especially the view was amazing. I loved the closed huge backyard too because of my dog. Ashley was incredibly welcoming and providing clear communications. I would highly recommend this place to everyone. We definitely gonna stay at this place again. This time Summer.

The house is very comfortable and just as beautiful as the photos. The location is incredible - amazing views of the water, mountains, and big ships passing. It was so lovely to be able to just walk across the street and be on the beach with long walks possible in either direction. It was also really convenient for groceries and restaurants along 4th Ave, and an easy 15 minute drive to downtown and Stanley Island. We loved Vancouver and our stay in this beautiful home!

Our family loved the spacious, bright two bedroom layout! The furnishings are beautiful, and the beds are super comfy. The kitchen was well stocked and the water views from the balconies were a wonderful bonus. The amenities are fantastic, the restaurant is conveniently close, and the pool, gym, and sauna are great additions. The outdoor hot tub feels like a natural hot spring & the 12ac beach front resort allowed for coastal exploration. Tannis was a great host & very friendly. We’ll hope to stay here again in the future.

A second great stay at Lilian's. It was spotlessly clean on arrival as always and we enjoyed the well stocked kitchen again. We even had dinner at the Pacific Moon Rising Restaurant on site this time and had a great meal. We will be back!

This condo was so great! I could live here. It had pretty much anything you could need for a short or long stay. The full kitchen was nice with the full size, 6 person table. There were several condiments, tea and coffee left in the kitchen to use. The bathrooms and beds were beautiful. Even the hide-a-bed was fairly comfortable. The pool, hot tub and gym were in a different building so we only used them once. The beach and walking path were right outside the door. The walk is definitely worth it, even if you don’t have a lot of time. Other than the shoreline, Nanoose Bay is within an hour of many hikes, waterfalls and hidden gems to explore. We didn’t find a bakery or grocery store within walking distance. The closest would be Parksville which is not far. But you do have to drive or set out for a long walk. We will definitely stay again if we are in the area. Thank you!

We loved staying at Jordyn’s place as we went to the Grotto Spa at the tigh na mara very near by. It was convenient to get to the water and close to many amenities. We would be happy to stay there again.

The apartment had everything we needed and we felt right at home. The kitchen was well equipped, everything was well labelled and Andrea even had “kid” dishes so it suited us perfectly. There is a dishwasher which was great:. The place was tidy and clean. We had meals outside and enjoyed the view from the patio. The kids enjoyed the small outdoor pool which was heated. There is access to a marina from the property but no beach. Andrea was very communicative and responsive. She answered questions about the unit when needed and was helpful to provide local recommendations for beaches and things to do. We arrived late at night in the pitch dark but Andrea’s instructions to find the unit were helpful and much needed as there were no signs indicating any unit numbers that we could see. Overall it was a great stay and I would recommend Andrea’s apartment to anyone exploring Halfmoon Bay!

We loved our stay at Andrea’s place. It was extremely clean. The space had everything we needed even down to a bin of spare chargers! It was also very well equipped with everything we needed in the kitchen. It even had good coffee!!! The toys, books and board games were such a lovely touch and were so helpful for us entertaining our kids. I find traveling with children they aren’t always as welcomed but we certainly didn’t feel that during our stay here. We had the opportunity to request a high chair and pack and play (with a crib mattress). It was an easy walk to the beach and we very much enjoyed our time exploring what Parksville had to offer. It was April when we visited but the close proximity to the pool in the summer months would also be a hit. Andrea was very accommodating and we can’t wait to come back. I’d give her more stars if I could!

Great and peaceful space, nice and quiet in October. Kids friendly 🤸🏻‍♀️amazing facilities at the resort too. Lovely bedrooms. Awesome view of the creek and tides. We can't wait to return again!

beautiful room....very clean beautiful resort...the view from the room isn't that great but the resort it self has many places to enjoy the views ...restaurant the food was amazing hot tub was great
