Wir können die Unterkunft sehr empfehlen, haben uns direkt wohl gefühlt und wurden von Michela sehr lieb empfangen. Das Apartment war mit viel Liebe zum Detail eingerichtet und gut ausgestattet und die Aussicht von der Dachterrasse ist total beeindruckend. :)

L’estada a Fez ha estat inoblidable i en gran part per l’amabilitat de l’amfitrió de l’Splendid Riad Jaoid i del seu col.laborador, en Youssef. Els dos fan que l’estada a la ciutat i l’allotjament al Riad sigui fàcil, còmode, tranquil i segur En general, hem viscut una experiència inolvidable. Fez ens ha apassionat i sentir-nos acompanyades en tot moment per en Youssef ens ha fet estar molt més traquiles. Molt recomenable l’exquissit esmorzar preparat per ell. Una maravella de sabors marroquins. Deliciós.

I really enjoyed this apartment! Mohammed picked us up from a local meeting point and took us in a 10-15 minute walk into the heart of Fes where cars are inaccessible. He pointed out currency exchange locations and stores that sold the most affordable and best items as we made our way to the apartment. Upon arrival, we were treated to traditional tea and biscuits and asked for additional information by the host so he could submit it to the local police station. The apartment was clean and traditionally decorated with lots of appliances. The location was amazing as it was near all the major shops and places for sightseeing. The only downside was that Mohammed didn’t respond to my messages for the day that I stayed at his location. I wanted to be reminded of where the currency exchange and leather shops were but he was offline till the next day (definitely could’ve been busy which made responding difficult). Overall, definitely worth it to visit and would love to come again!

A beautifully renovated and historic riad in fascinating Fez. As everyone says. Loubna is very kind and helpful. All bedrooms comfy and a great location right in the middle of the souk.

Deze woning is ronduit verbluffend. Een paleis waar je binnen wandelt, met zorg ingericht. Tara haar communicatie is de perfectie nabij: snel en zeer behulpzaam, wat echt een heel fijn gegeven is wanneer je met kindjes reist en even snel iets wil vragen. Haar tips en aanbevelingen op culinair vlak zijn top, ook de kookworkshop die Rachida ons gaf hebben we erg van genoten. De privé Derb (steegje) zorgt, zeker met twee kleine kindjes, voor een veilig gevoel ‘s avonds en ‘s nachts. Eens je de medina in durft (los van bekende straten) en ronddwaalt, opent zich een wereld aan geuren, kleuren, smaken, mensen,.. wij vonden het geweldig. De R’Cif Marked is een zalige plek! Ook elke keer weer terug kunnen keren naar de veilige thuisbasis die Dar Namir was, na een dag vol indrukken, was fijn. De kat is een gezellig beestje dat aan de voeten van onze dochters kwam slapen. Rachida is fantastisch: elke ochtend weer mogen uitkijken naar het meest lekkere, verse ontbijt ooit: heerlijk gewoon!

Amazingly beautiful old Moroccan house situated in the Medina - an exceptional experience with incredibly friendly hosts, Karim and Khalid. The house has three bedrooms, each connected to a bathroom. Now, this is not a Riad that has been « modernized » as many others have been. The bathrooms are small in height and some need yo be accessed through an extra stairs. So, for those traveling with older parents, it might not be the right choice. The interior is just stunning: a traditional Riad with beautiful details and illumination. You can access a terrace/roof-top to enjoy a look at the surrounding Medina. Our favorite has been certainly the breakfast served by Khalid: everything is homemade by his wife and prepared with lots of love. Khalid has been so kind to us and helped us to navigate the maze of Fez’s Medina. It’s important to mark the exact location of the Riad in your Maps and maybe download the offline map to avoid to get lost (internet signal can be lost at times).

Nous avons passé un très bon séjour au Dar Malika. Les transferts se sont très bien passés à l’aller comme au retour. Les taxis réservés par notre hôte étaient au rendez-vous même à 3h30 du matin ! Le logement est magnifique et très spacieux. Il est très bien équipé. La décoration nous plonge tout de suite dans l’univers marocain, ce qui contribue au dépaysement. La terrasse est extraordinaire et offre une vue dégagée sur la médina. Le Dar est au cœur de la médina et des zones commerçantes. Il y a pleins de restaurants à proximité ! La nuit, une fois les commerces fermés la médina retrouve son calme et nous avons très bien dormi. Nous sommes ravis de notre séjour. Nous recommandons Dar Malika sans hésitation, sa situation est vraiment optimale.

We spent three nights there with my partner and his two children (8 and 10). We were warmly welcomed with tea and our stay was made as pleasant as possible. Khadija conjured up a traditional fresh breakfast for us every morning. We felt that we were in good hands. Everything was very clean and the furnishings were a feast for the eyes for lovers of good taste, especially the beautiful old objects and trouvailles from the region. The children enjoyed the birds in the garden and the little tortoise that had found refuge in the garden. The perfect place to relax after a long day in Fès. The view of the garden, the neighbourhood, the far-reaching view. We will hopefully be back! Thank you Khadija for everything.

Je recommande grandement ce magnifique Riad ! Kenza est très aimable, réactive et disponible. Le logement est très beau, propre et fonctionnel. Il est bien placé dans la médina, tout peut se faire à pied. Les 2 terrasses sont également très agréables, avec une magnifique vue sur Fès et ses alentours. La ville est très jolie et propose plein de jolies découvertes. Merci pour ce très beau séjour !
