Beautiful house, with amazing forest views out the large windows. I loved the wifi speakers that could play throughout the whole place, including one that was battery powered and could be moved around, and sounded great. Well-maintained hiking trails start right out your door through the forest, and can go all the way down to the beach. Very comfortable bed. Fast wifi. Lovely decor. Great selection of coffee equipment. Floor heaters in bathroom and kitchen are appreciated on cold mornings. Hot tub was great; plenty of space for 3 people to stretch out, more than that will get cozy. Very private location -- there is one close neighboring house but it was vacant during our 1 week stay. Doesn't get a ton of direct sunlight due to all the beautiful towering trees around. Some forest maintenance was happing on weekdays during the day which was mildly annoying noise but not the host's fault. Recommend checking out Gualala Point Regional Park, was a nice easy walk with fun views.

Collin’s place was such a cute and cozy retreat! The outdoor deck with stream was the best part of his house. Getting in and out of the driveway was a bit stressful as cars do tend to drive fast on that road, but Collin has certainly warned us about that. Collin’s description of the house, things to look out for, and local recommendations were also great! Very helpful. Would love to return some time if I can!

We enjoyed staying at the cabin in Mendocino. The place stayed cozy and warm when it was cold outside. Veronica was a great host.

We chose this cottage for our former college roommates' 3-day getaway. It was exactly what we needed. Beautiful views, a hot tub, comfortable beds, and great amenities. Bright, cheerful, clean, and the wallpaper was fun. Lovely view off the back deck. David had many recommendations for food and things to do. The road up to the place was tight, especially in an SUV so we chose to venture out only in daylight. Check-in and check-out were easy. We loved our stay!

This is the second time my husband and I stayed at Celia's Garden. We love the location which is close to Graton (walkable) and the home itself is well stocked with towels for the hot tub as well as is bright and sunny and clean. Perfect place.

We had a magical multigenerational stay at Locke's house in Inverness with my husband, three year old and my parents. We visit Pt Reyes regularly and the location is absolutely perfect, quick walk across the road to Chicken Ranch Beach for kids to romp around, a quick drive into Pt Reyes station for dinner, and easy access to all the wonderful Pt Reyes trails. The house itself was cosy, quiet, had amazing views from the deck (and was sunny most of the day which is rare on this side of Tomales bay!) and felt like a real home. We really liked having the separate cottage to provide a bit more privacy and quiet with a young kiddo with us, and we found the kitchen was well equipped for cooking in the evenings. The only very minor challenge we had was trying to heat the cottage and main house evenly as they are on the same heating system, and the nights were chilly during our visit. Definitely staying here again on future trips to Pt Reyes.

It's a nice place with super comfy beds and fancy bathrooms, as everyone says! Unfortunately the living/dining spaces and furniture are much less comfortable, the layout isn't the most conducive to spending time together, and the kitchen was missing some key items. To her credit, Hila was very responsive and even overnighted a box of missing supplies, and offered to fix issues quickly. But a lot of things weren't there as we needed them: a kettle, oven mitts, foil, the salt was almost out, only canola no olive oil, etc. While there were a lot of nice touches around the house, there were just as many small annoyances that felt like they wouldn't be tolerated if someone lived there. If you plan to spend most of the day out and just come back to sleep, wash up, and hot tub, this is perfect. If you want to cook and be cozy/comfy together, maybe not ideal?
