We absolutely loved our stay! It was beautifully decorated, close to the Devil's Bathtub hike that we wanted to do, and clean (which is the most important thing to me). The host also went above and beyond to make us feel welcome by leaving a few snacks and checking in with us to make sure everything was as it should be. We loved sitting on the back porch to watch the deer on the hill in the evening. We would love to visit again and explore more. Highly recommend!!!

Staying at this beautiful historic property was a memorable experience! The location is very peaceful, and the hosts were extremely welcoming and friendly. If we ever visit this area again, we would definitely stay here!

Christen went above and beyond our expectations. The campsite is beautiful and secluded with everything you need (and I mean everything). The only things you really need outside of your personal items are what Christen suggests (charcoal, wood, and ice). After checking out, we stopped by the Devil’s Bathtub which is only about 30 mins away and it was beautiful! We hope to return soon!

We absolutely LOVED staying at Allyson’s place. We went to a NASCAR race at Bristol Speedway and it was the perfect location. There was plenty of space for the 9 of us. Will be recommending this airbnb over and over again!

Such a cozy & beautiful place to stay!! Thoughtfully decorated throughout with vintage items that definitely reminded me of my own Mammaw’s house!! Very comfortable & relaxing!!

The Wolfe Gilbert House can be described as being elegantly rustic. One can tell the house has been there for many years. Once the inside, all of the expected modern conveniences and furnishings can be found. A working farm and fields surround the Airbnb. The screened-in front porch is the jewel of the residence which is suitable for casual gatherings or relaxation. This is a great Airbnb to simply unwind!!!

Debbie was very responsive when we had questions! She dealt with any issues quickly and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay!

We needed somewhere to stay the night during a roadtrip and the r-pod was perfect for our needs! All of the basic essentials were provided, plus some thoughtful touches. As a plus size gal, the bathroom was a squeeze but still doable. Be warned, it was quite chilly inside the pod for an October night! There was a small space heater provided, which came in very handy, but bringing extra blankets might be a good idea (or dress warm for bed lol). Also, a heads up that there were some loose dogs hanging out around the pod when we arrived and left. They seemed friendly, but were not scared of the car, so be on the lookout when pulling in/out. Overall, a good choice!

Had a great stay in beautiful Big Stone Gap Va. Location is perfect for exploring the area and visiting with family. Big Cherry Brewing Company located underneath the apartment is a fun place to meet up - good corn dip!!!
