Wir dachten, dass wir in Sandaig ein bisschen Abenteuerurlaub machen. Immerhin kommt man nur mit dem Schiff hin und muss dann noch querfeldein wandern. Es fühlte sich aber an als käme man nach Hause. Bettina und Roland sind super sympathisch, kochen lecker und haben einen fantastischen Ausblick aufs Meer. Wir kommen gerne wieder und bleiben dann länger.

The property is spacious and fully equipped. House was easy to find, check-in was super easy and it was exactly as described. There is sufficient parking on back side of property and a beautifull waterfall nearby. All rooms were clean and sufficient bedding, kitchen fully stocked with all pots, pans and dishes. Extended utility area was useful. Living room has a wood burner which was very cosy and boardgames for kids was also a nice touch Overall we had great stay snd we'd recommend the place yo others as well.

Had a lovely stay here with some friends. Very relaxing place with good amenities. Great location as not too far from Glasgow but still feels like a getaway. We were able to get the bus to Kippen for some great food and could also walk into Buchlyvie. Rachel was really helpful and quick to reply. Rooms were very spacious with en-suites.

Loved our new year stay at Owen's lodge - we stayed for 4 nights with out two young children. The lodge is well equipped, was easy to check in and in a great location. The place was clean and tidy, the rooms are really large and the hot-tub was brilliant. The lodge has everything you need for a decent getaway with loads of things in the local area only a short drive away. Just to note: The WiFi isn't particularly great and there is very little phone signal (at least on the two networks we had). Not a huge issue but as the weather was particularly bad over the new year we probably stayed in the lodge more than we had anticipated and the WiFi wasn't great for streaming TV/Films for the kids.

Great place to stay off the beaten track. Worth the short travel from Dundee to find this peaceful stop. On the edge of a loch, picturesque with stars at night. Gareth was very welcoming, and had a couple of lovely dogs. He showed us our rooms, told us how to use the shower (never seen one quite like this), then the breakfast room / social area where there were games, tv and a view of the loch bank. Beware that wifi isn't that reliable, so if it's a place you want to work from it might not necessarily work for you. Phone signal was a big no no for me too, but I wasn't there to be contacted, I was there with my wife and friends for an over night stay.... It was perfect.

We have stayed a few times and it never disappoints. Great host, nice location. The pod and hot tub were spotless. Highly recommend!

We are just back from a last-minute overnight stay here at Woodlands in Glen Coe and we were blown away with the riverbed by the lake experience. Despite booking at 9pm the night before with a ‘deal’ rate, we were welcomed with such thoughtful and generous extra little touches—bathrobes and slippers, a hot tub pre-heated ready for us to enjoy, and homemade cookies from Amber. The surprise breakfast basket left at our door in the morning had us in ‘awe’ and along with being a lovely end to our mini stay, it was delicious. The riverbed pod felt luxurious, and we fell in love with Glen Coe and Woodlands, during our first ever visit to the area. Though it was our first child-free night in a decade, we’re already planning on returning when we get the chance. Thank you for making our stay feel extra special. Ps. The young gentleman at reception was exceptional—knowledgeable, friendly, and full of helpful tips about local sights, dining, and even a free ferry ride.

Lovely peaceful location. The room was spotless. The people were incredibly friendly and made our stay pleasant. We also loved the breakfast. Overall, this place offers great value for money.
