Perfect stay in this lovely part of Shetland. Orwick Lodge is wonderful in terms of comfort, facilities provided and stunning views. So much birdlife to see from the comfort of the sofa! Michael and Mandy are very caring and provide lots of information on the area. Lots of extras too, including the complimentary mussels, which were delicious.

A fantastic location both for sitting in the living area/ garden and enjoying the stunning views and peace and quiet, and for exploring Coigach and Assynt. The house was wonderful - equipped with everything you could need, spotlessly clean, comfortable and beautifully decorated. Lochinver is just down the road with a couple of cafes, restaurants and local store. Although if you drive through Ullapool you may want to get some provisions from the Tesco there. Charlie was great at communicating with us and making us feel welcome in his beautiful house. Would definitely recommend.

Exceptional in every way. It worked perfectly for us as a base to enjoy the local golf courses, North Berwick and Edinburgh. Beautifully presented, thoughtfully laid out and extremely functional, we wanted for nothing, Steph had thought of everything. It felt like a 5* luxury stay. We’ll definitely be back soon, felt like there’s so much to see and do locally. We got lucky with the weather but I’m sure it would be equally relaxing to hunker down at the Barn in bad weather! All of Steph’s recommendations were great and being walking distance from the train and the town was such a bonus. Can’t wait to return! Thanks again!

Awesome host, communication was amazing, Willie is very friendly, lovely place to stay! Amazing view, bike storage available! Couple of mins ride to the uplift or 15 mins ride to the Golfie, perfect location! Would recommend!

Moira and Stuart were friendly welcoming hosts and we had a very comfortable stay in their lovely home. Nothing was too much trouble for them. It was lovely coming back to a comfy bed and a good night's sleep after a busy wedding. Moira prepared a lovely breakfast for us each morning. We were given good advice about a lovely riverside walk into St Andrews.

House was beautiful and decorated to a high standard. Plenty of space throughout the property, beds were exceptionally comfortable and it was very clean. Location was great. Communication from the company was good. Hot tub was an added bonus however when we arrived the temperature hadn’t been set to its maximum, therefore we couldn’t use it the first night as it took hours to get to maximum temperature. This should be ready for people to use upon arrival. Kitchen utensils generally good however we cooked a roast dinner and would have found oven gloves helpful. There was only x1 tea towel which wasn’t enough. Dishwasher tabs and a cloth provided, however no surface spray so difficult to keep surfaces clean. At present building work is happening outside the house and it would have been useful to be notified about this. We felt uncomfortable using the hot tub in the day as the builders could see into the hot tub. They were lovely though. In summary I would recommend Heather Cottage.

A fantastic place to stay. More than met our expectations. As a group of friends we loved everything about it. The beds extremely comfortable, showers powerful and plenty of hot water. Kitchen well equipped and had everything we needed. We ate together in the dining room and the lounge area had plenty of room for us to sit together in the evening. We were able to walk into Carnoustie. For us the icing on the cake were the hot tubs.

Second stay at Liz’s place. We were happy with it on the first stay but the second proved we were right to go back. Everything you need for a home from home. Ideal location. Close to town and beach. Everything in the house is quality. Very comfortable all round. Facilities are easy to use. Good restaurants and bars very close, also not far from the train station. We were in Glasgow within the hour. We had a lovely break this time as well. Look forward to the next time.

Perfect location for walking to everywhere in Old Town. Lots to do, see, eat and experience and then you can return to the flat to rest your feet.

Geweldig mooi en ruim appartement. Het was heerlijk warm toen we binnenkwamen. Een prachtige omgeving, en een appartement waarbij aan alles gedacht is. Compleet uitgeruste keuken en er was zelfs een airfryer aanwezig. Dvd's en spelletjes volop aanwezig. Makkelijk parkeren. We hebben genoten van ons verblijf en komen graag nog een keer terug.

Lynn’s place is most delightful, with everything you could possibly need, supplied & every detail covered. Everything is immaculate & all appliances new & work well. Thank you Lynn, we had THE most comfortable stay🤗

Lovely two bedroom apartment. Warm & comfortable. The hosts were extremely helpful and ensured we had everything we needed for our stay. Loved the rural location and setting. Plenty of parking and electric charging point also very useful. Great communication prior to our stay. Highly recommended for a stay in the North Lakes area.

For a grown-up family of four, and our pet dog the price was good value, with everything we could need and more, with ample space foe every one. Heather, was very accommodating when we arrived alitte early for check after a 9 hour drive. located in the perfect spot for Elgin and Lossiemouth.

A wonderful “ home from home” for the 4 of us and the dog !!! Just perfect in every way !

We really appreciated the place, it is very clean and spacious, organized, and has all what you need – kitchen amenities, washing machine, and a very comfortable set up. Overall, we were very satisfied with the apartment. It is very good value for money, and Sonia is very helpful with the apartment itself or with any recommendations within Edinburgh. The only mild drawback is the sofa which could be bigger and more upholstered somehow, but it truly does the job and more. Other than this is a solid 4.5/5. Overall, new town is a lovely area and it is very walkable, you can walk for 10 minutes to the Royal mile and Victoria Street – also Broughton Street, which is a two minute walk has beautiful restaurant selections for breakfast, brunch, and lunch – there is a nearby Tesco which has also all what you need, and it’s right across the street from Carlton Hill, which is also a very pleasant place to visit and to see the city from an elevated position. Beautiful location so peaceful with wonderful scenery. The place had been done up which was a lovely surprise very modern, clean and had everything we needed. Loved our stay, great location to explore and lovely to come back to at the end of the day !

We really enjoyed our stay at The Armoury. The apartment was spacious, clean, comfortable, well equipped and warm (despite the cold weather). The location is very convenient (with shops within easy walking distance) but tucked away/quiet (especially overnight). Catrina was helpful, friendly and responsive. Recommended.
