The Carriage House: Beautiful Farmland Views.

The Carriage House is the second floor of our cedar stables that was turned into an apartment years ago. It was completely redone this spring and professionally decorated to make it a cozy + luxe retreat with views to die for. While we no longer use the stables to house animals we still keep a few head of cattle + sheep in the pasture for your enjoyment. The wall of windows along the back of the apartment offer you the most stunning views of the surrounding farmland and an unforgettable sunrise.

Sitting at the base of the Historic Neversink Mountain, this property provides a wonderful place for recreation or relaxation. If staying here for business or a getaway you will not be disappointed. Enjoy the beautiful 900 acres of The Neversink Mountain Preserve. This property is a private setting, yet close to the sights and sounds of urban life. The house is located close to attractions such as the Santander Arena, Reading Phillies, great restaurants, local colleges and the Reading Hospital.

Covered Bridge Cottage

Located on a farm in the heart of Amish country and amid one of the largest concentrations of antiques in America, we are central to many attractions, yet quaint and secluded enough to provide a relaxing retreat. The Covered Bridge Cottage started out in the 1800’s as a mill office and over the years was converted into a home through several additions. The house has been in our family for close to a century and it was our honor to restore it to a comfortable, energy efficient, durable home.

We are located next to the municipal park, which features a baseball field, tennis court, playground and volleyball area. Our home is right next to the cottage. Welcome to Magnolia House, 1st floor apartment. Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway. This cozy newly renovated efficiency apartment is perfect for a weekend getaway. Located in the downtown of historic Boyertown and is walking distance to restaurants, bars, shops and museums. The sunny living area includes a beautiful kitchenette with a mini fridge, microwave, sink and coffee maker. The bedroom offers a queen bed and has a brand new en-suite bathroom with walk in shower.

Historic Amish homestead Barn loft apartment

The Nicholas Stoltzfus Homestead is the oldest restored Amish property in Berks County, bought by Immigrant Nicholas Stoltzfus (ancestor of all Stoltzfus descendants in America) in 1771. You will be staying in a peaceful and cozy barn loft apartment with a private entrance beside the stone house. You can enjoy the flower gardens and birds, tour the house, take a bike ride or picnic on the lawn. Adjacent to the property is the Union Canal Towpath on the Tulpehocken Creek.

Frog Hollow Cottage is a newly renovated getaway located in the heart of the Chester County’s rolling farmland and equestrian community. Overlooking beautiful pastures, the cottage was formerly the large painting studio of Delaware Valley artist Peter Sculthorpe. The studio has been re-imagined as a peaceful retreat for families, friends and couples.
