What a find. Such a beautiful location for our little break. Such friendly hosts. Everything was wonderful and our children are already asking when we can go back! Both Suzanne and Mark were very friendly and nothing was too much trouble. Thank you for making our stay so special 😊

Had a beautiful few days away here. The cottage is set in beautiful countryside, it has everything you need for a comfortable stay and the host was very accommodating.

Amazing host who went above and beyond by decorating the place with happy birthday banners and balloons for my Mums stay for her 60th birthday. The place has so much character and is in such a perfect location

This house was absolutely stunning. It was well worth the money we paid. We had 12 guests for a Hen Do and we had plenty of room. The hot tub was wonderful and warm, even if February. The view was stunning as were the rooms. Each room was beautifully decorated, including a stunning shower and bath. Hosts communicated clearly and responded quickly when I had questions. Would definitely return and recommend!

Me my 2 sisters and mum enjoyed our stay was so peaceful. Exactly what we was looking for to relax and spend time together. The home was lovely thank you.

Beautiful cottage with amazing facilities, lovely decor, comfy beds, spectacular scenery. Everything was catered for…thoughtful continental breakfast, with little touches like milk and kids cereal. Loved the cows, horses and farm! Liz was great at keeping us informed about stuff and was kind enough to give us a tour of the farm, which we loved. Brilliant stay. Thank you Liz!

Thank you for hosting us. We stayed Swallows nest for a night whilst visiting the coast. Very clean and had all the amenities you’d need. Beautiful surroundings and what a view from the patio. Great location for visiting Scarborough

Lovely weekend away! The barn was perfect for what we required with an elderly, disabled relative and Rob was super helpful. The area is fantastic, the beauty of the moors and close to the coast. Thank you Rob, highly recommended! 😊

We had a great weekend staying in Wykeham Cottage with our friends and puppy, the gorgeous Labrador boys on the yard were so good with him and our hosts were friendly, easygoing and most of all so welcoming. The property is very cosy and has everything you would need for a stay away from home. Cleaned to a high standard to complement the high quality furniture and decor. We will definitely be back!

I booked this as a honeymoon break for my son and daughter in law. It was perfect for them and they had nothing but great thing to say about there stay. Communication with the host was excellent which aided there incredible stay.

just got back from a one night stay in the Jolly cabin it was perfect, everything that you need is there the bbq was great so was the views and hot tub hosts was very responsive.

We stayed at spring Barn Farm for 3 nights over new year. The barn is fantastic with a lot of character. The Aga keeps the kitchen nice and warm. We used the log burner that is in the living-room which made it feel really homely. The location is in a small hamlet that is really peaceful. Bridlington is a 15 minute drive away. The hot tub was a massive hit with the kids as it was up to temperature when we arrived. We enjoyed the little touches of chocolates and biscuits. We would definitely be back. Thanks for a relaxing stay.

What a lovely find! Really peaceful, you feel like you are the only ones in the woods. Loads of wildlife to see and the bubbling creek was so soothing and picturesque. We had breakfast outside watching the fields opposite. The property had everything we needed for our stay and was very comfortable. Jordan was so lovely and very attentive, he was quick to assist answer any questions we had. The village is beautiful! We had dinner in The White Bear pub, food was gorgeous and the land lord was such a gent. All in all, a fantastic weekend away!

The Bedshed was absolutely perfect and we couldn’t have asked for anything better. Lorri described the place perfectly and was incredibly helpful with finding local restaurants and areas that were great to go and see. The place was 100% spotless and looked beautiful when we arrived and we soon felt right at home.

Such a romantic and peaceful getaway. It was a little date weekend for me and it was our first time away together. We had such a lovely time, it was cosy and private which is exactly what we wanted. We were surrounded by beautiful views and had the company of 3 cute little goats and 3 gorgeous highland cows. The local town was a short drive away so could go for walks, get food and grab any little bits we needed. Everything was more or less provided. Even got hot water bottles, socks and hand warmers which was a lovely touch. The hot tub was different to anything I’ve seen before but it worked really well. Loved the outdoor kitchen area, we made use of the BBQ. It’s perfect for 2 people. Would definitely come back

Wow wow wow, what an amazing place to stay. Stunning house, stunning location. The attention to detail was fantastic, Philippa and Andrew were so approachable, friendly and helpful and they helped to make our stay comfortable. The house was spotless and full of everything we needed. Our children are already asking how soon we can come and visit again. The hot tub was ready for our arrival and the view were gorgeous, what a gem of a find. Very much looking forward to returning to Yoredale House, Thankyou for having us!

Amazing place! Gorgeous property, extremely well appointed and comfortable down to the welcome wine and chocs! Over and above what you would expect. Views were incredible and a bonus with the animals onsite meaning always something going on whilst sipping coffee on the balcony. Duncan and Adrian here perfect hosts even being our personal taxi service! Highly recommended!

We’ve had a wonderful stay at Faron’s beautiful Chicken Cottage. It’s a delightful place and Faron has been a great host, communicating in a timely, friendly manner and preparing the house for our stay. The chickens are an incredible addition and the kids absolutely loved feeding them and collecting the eggs - which are delicious. We chose the cottage because of its great location to Thirsk, where we attended a wedding. However, we’d love to come back and explore a bit more of the area. It was absolutely delightful.

We absolutely loved Caroline's place and were sad to leave after a couple of nights. A beautifully converted barn in the most beautiful part of North Yorkshire, with stunning grounds. First time to Great Ayton but hopefully not our last and, if we do return, Caroline's place would be the top of our accommodation list if available.

This was our first time staying at the cottage. From the moment we arrived Pauline was very welcoming and informative replaces to visit and restaurant, pub. Takeaway recommendations. The cottage was spotless. Enough space for 2 adults and 2 children (11, 15) Beautiful views from the living room windows. Robes were provided which was a nice touch. We paid extra for the hot tub, which was well worth it. The cottage is ideally placed for visits to Flamingloand. Whitby, and Scarborough. Would definitely recommend this cottage.

Our stay at Mill House was just lovely. It was quaint with lots of character, very comfortable and had everything we needed. Jill and Jonathan were really great hosts. It was lovely been on a working farm, having sheep just outside the windows and hearing the hens and seeing people riding by on their horses. We were approximately 15 miles either way from York and Whitby. The journey either way was amazing and we were able to see the Yorkshire moors Will definitely go back.
