We had a fabulous stay at the Rustic Pines lodge. The cabin was very cozy and welcoming. The kitchen was well-appointed and made it easy to share meals together. The location is amazing! Ski in ski out with access to the Birkie trail. Ally was a fantastic host. Definitely hope to stay there again.

We had a fantastic, peaceful stay. The place was gorgeous, and with a very well equipped kitchen for cooking. Our host was super responsive, he even let us know where to see a fox den and some cubs on the property, which delighted our daughter. The house itself was comfortable, well appointed, and with no detailed overlooked. We would definitely stay again!

This visit marked our 4th stay over the past eleven months, which speaks volumes for our love for the particular property and for the great host, Suzanne. The accommodations are perfect and Suzanne is always thoughtful and a responsive host. The only negative item was that we had to finally leave from the Haakon House and return to the Twin Cities.

This was exactly what we needed for the weekend! Abbie was very responsive and gave us suggestions for local fun. The house looked like the photos and had plenty of space for all of us. The hot tub was clean and very relaxing, we loved it. This home had several extra touches that sets it apart from others, the little welcome basket and the Polaroid camera were fun. We would love to stay here again.

This was the perfect spot for us in Birchwood! Love being right on the lake, and our daughter loved having a playground right out the door in the backyard to keep her busy. We so appreciate a dog-friendly place too, and the fire-pit by the lake was awesome in the evening. Hard to find a cabin with these accommodations in the area that's not too expensive. Thanks!

Suited our needs well for Birkie weekend. Accurate description of cabins by the host. Simple, clean accommodations with comfortable beds. Cassy was very responsive to our messages.

Beautiful cabin! Lovely bedrooms and comfortable beds. Kitchen was well-stocked with a variety of spices and the biggest jar of peanut butter I’ve ever seen. The setting was lovely, with the snow and sunshine. One quick caution: always remember the photographs make everything seem larger. While the space was more than adequate for 5 adults and two children, it didn’t feel as large as the photos. That isn’t anyone’s fault, it’s just the nature of photography. It was really nice to have the downstairs to “spread out” in, and in the summer, the whole outdoors….

Had a great time connecting with the family. Hosts were very friendly and responsive. Right on a lake which the older kids/young adults enjoyed during our winter visit.

The cabin was clean and had alot of amenities. The area was beautiful and peaceful.

This cabin was perfect for our weekend getaway. It's in a great location and right near so many things to do. The cabin was clean, and we truly enjoyed our stay. The only missing thing was the ability to connect to wifi as the cell service in the north is not good. Overall wonderful place!

What a gem in the north woods! We loved the minimalist approach to these beautiful cabins. We had all that we needed and enjoyed the wood-fired sauna, cleanliness, forest views and friendly guests next door. Mo was an excellent host, so accommodating and a great communicator! We’d highly recommend ROAM!
