This is a great little place to stay. My wife and I in several of our friends stayed here for a couple days. The super restful and the lake was beautiful, especially in the morning when the sun came up :-) Maighen and Shawn we're super friendly and communicative. We would definitely stay there again if we're there :-)

This spot had the most amazing view of the Lake and was so peaceful to enjoy. The property was well equipped and we enjoyed our time here so much we would stay here again. Perfect for a family we felt right at home as soon as we walked in. Only recommendation would be to have extra blankets and pillows but everything else was top notch. We will be back!

Definitely 5++ star review. Everything we needed was already there. Best experience with Airbnb yet. Our family enjoyed everything Hardystone had to offer. We never had to turn on a TV because there were so many activities to keep everyone entertained. From Ping Pong and Pool Tournaments to Paddle Boarding to S’mores by the fire! We will most definitely rent through this group again!

I am a consultant working on a project here in Hartwell and stayed at Dan's place for 4 months. Dan is an absolutely amazing host. He is communicative, attentive, and ALWAYS very quick to respond. The place is beautiful, clean, quiet, and comfortable. I had no issues feeling at home the entire time I was staying here. I will look to book here first when I come back to Hartwell later this year. A fantastic 5 star stay at this house! The hot tub was AMAZING, super clean & beautiful views. The main king bed is ridiculously comfortable with a great mattress, sheets & duvet especially cozy with the fireplace which was easy to light with the flip of a switch. We caught a huge catfish from the dock & enjoyed the recommendation to hike at the Effigy. We did 5 miles. We also ate at the Bistro on Lake Oconee which was delish. We plan to return in the summer! We were so happy to be able to book this place on such short notice after having our original stay at another lake house cancelled by the host at the very last minute when we were already on the road traveling with our small children and friends. Tony was very accommodating and made what would have been a ruined trip very nice and enjoyable. Thank you so much!

This is a beautiful clean lake house. This house has everything you need. Great for families with lots of games and deer come by everyday to visit.

This place is ideal. It appears to be quite new and is ideally located. The architecture and furnishings are very pleasing. The host seems to have thought of every necessary appointment. It generally goes above and beyond… cleanliness, heating and cooling unit, privacy, comfort, food and bath accoutrements. Overall, it has been one of our best stays.

We had an amazing stay here! This guest house was super cute and very clean. We stayed for the RBC Heritage golf tournament. Our drive was a quick 20 mins! Soooo many cute shops and local restaurants were within walking distance. Hoping to stay again next year!

We booked a last minute stay because we were in town for a funeral..Mark & Ruth were very accommodating. As for cleanliness probably one of the cleanest places I’ve stayed..the beds super comfy & just the best hosts! I hope we can come back again some time for a more relaxing reason :)

Lori's place provided us with a peaceful place to rest. The cottage was well equipped with everything a guest might need. Evidence of Lori's thoughtful hospitality in every corner. Grocery stores were minutes away. We were able to prepare meals at the cottage which kept us from having to eat out so much. We chose this location because of it's centrality. Tybee Island about 15 minutes away and Savannah the same distance. We enjoyed the best of both.

Laura & JP’s place was exactly as described if not better. They were responsive and very kind, even being flexible with checkout. If you love being near the water this is the place for you!

The lake house was just what we needed to relax and get away. We were in town for a family reunion and it was the perfect location. We hope to book again next year.

What a beautiful relaxing location! Spring break was awesome with my little girl, my other half, and our pup! Brought our John boat, enjoyed days on lake fishing or just cruising around. Fished from the dock, and paddled the provided kayak around the cove. We will most definitely be coming back to stay! Carlos was so quick at replying, it was easy to get in, clean, and the Mexican restaurant is a literal 6 minutes down the road if you don’t feel like cooking one night!
