This was our forth time staying in the local area, but we hadn't actually stayed in Westward Ho! until this latest trip. If you have any doubts about booking this Airbnb, stop. You will not be disappointed. We've stayed in many caravans in many places around the UK and hand on heart, this is the best we've ever been to. The park itself may not have the overkill of facilities, but what it does have is a view that more than makes up for it. We had a lovely relaxing stay and we can't wait to rebook.

We really enjoyed our holiday in Wren lodge. It was so peaceful, cosy, clean, well equipped and was our happy place for a week. We loved the swimming pool and would have used it loads more if the weather had been warmer. During our week we had a lovely 2 mile walk to the local village pub where we had a tasty meal. We drove out to Bude, which we loved for cute shops and crabbing on the harbour wall. We found Sandymouth beach for a fun beach day, with an amazing beach cafe. We would definitely recommend the lodge for a relaxing homely place to stay with great helpful hosts. Definitely value gor money. Well equipped kitchen and all lovely and clean. The large garden space around the lodge was sich a nice view and seeing cows in the field from the kitchen window was just delightful! A very happy holiday. Thank you to Valerie and Tony!

Another great stay at Carolines lovely cottage with many thoughtful touches, such delicious scones on arrival, and milk and bread to get you through the first afternoon. We’ll be back.

This little trip/holiday was absolutely perfect. The chalet is exactly what we needed, was comfortable, in a great location and had everything we needed. We had no issues with mobile coverage or 4G on our phones as others have stated. The property does have sea views (fair enough not beach views) but a short 1 minute walk and the view is absolutely stunning. Deborah was absolutely fantastic, so accommodating, super friendly and very easy to contact. Absolutely perfect for dogs with the little private area out the front as well as some lovely grass areas around the chalet and complex. The walk to the beach (around 15 mins) was also super easy and was actually a lovely walk! We would 100% recommend booking this and we will certainly be booking here again! Thanks so much for a fantastic long weekend.

Myself and my family had a really good time.The Lodge was very clean and equipped with everything that someone could ask for. Very quiet and peaceful area. We felt very welcome. There are lots of games to entertain children/adults on rainy days. Definitely, we will book again.

We needed a base for 3 of us for a week’s surfing. We arrived very late in the evening. The team left is clear instructions on where to park and access our accommodation. Clutter free, clean and comfortable with own outdoor space. Easy walkable access to all that Westward Ho! has to offer. Plenty of places to eat and drink. Amazing beach, safe swimming, body boarding and surfing. Recommend the North Devon Surf School to anyone wanting to surf. Overall 9.8/10 and would certainly stay at Golden Bay again.

Absolutely lovely Chalet in Widemouth bay, a lot of beautiful scenery all around the chalet and nice restaurant, pool and bar on site. Eileen’s response time is great and very informative. Would definitely recommend staying at Eileen’s chalet as it’s exactly as described and an absolute bargain for the price especially with the views you get.

What a gem of a find. We wanted a relaxing family weekend and that’s what we got. Very comfy chalet, beautiful views of the sea and beach, easy walk to sea pool and the local restaurants etc in Westward Ho! and The Pier House, practically onsite was fab with great food and a small arcade and pool (not the swimming kind) for our boys. We would definitely recommend and will hopefully return one day.

Clean and comfortable with everything we needed. Very accommodating host, we enjoyed our holiday there .

Just returned from a wonderful stay at Golden Bay. Our chalet was very comfortable and very clean. The grounds are very well kept and it’s a quiet and relaxing site in a great location just minutes from the beach, restaurants and arcade. Staff were so helpful and friendly and we would definitely return.

What a find. Beautiful little spot with amazing views over the sea especially at sunset. The house was clean and cosy, everything we needed. We used the pool at the park and were the only ones in there-it was perfect. Couldn’t ask for anything more, we have had a great time. The only very small downside was the path to the beach was muddy and through a field of sheep which wasn’t my daughters favourite thing but it was easy enough to drive to the beach which is easier with all the stuff you have to take anyway. Thanks to Richard and Claire for sharing their home with us, it’s been wonderful!

Chalet 37 was an amazing place to stay, beautiful inside and all you could ask for. Sparkly clean and the linen was crisp and fresh. The local area was stunning, with views to die for, and surf is also a winner too. The facilities on park for both adults and children alike were fantastic. I would thoroughly recommend Widemouth Bay Holiday Park and Chalet 37, Carolyn you are a gem and you made our stay very welcoming with all the information you provided us, and was on the other end of the phone if we had a question. Again thankyou so much and highly recommended

we had the most wonderful stay. really well equipped chalet with lots of homely touches and little things that made it easy with 2 young children. The surroundings were absolutely stunning, peaceful and felt very safe and private. We will be back.
