We have stayed in many Airbnb’s in many countries, and this one by far is our favorite. When you arrive you take in the amazing view of São Jorge and the ocean, then you get a tour of the house. It is so well put together, spacious and comfortable we had a hard time leaving. The kitchen is well stocked, the beds and linens are so comfortable (We also loved the hammock.) and the bathrooms were large. But, the best part of the house is the host, Laura. She is a rare gem who wanted us to relax and enjoy our time on Pico. You could tell she takes great pride in hosting. If you have time, sit and talk with her. We cannot thank her enough for our great stay on Pico! ❤️

Charming village escape - with a few minor tweaks needed! This beautiful and peaceful little house is located in what I consider to be the most charming village on the whole island. The surroundings down near the harbour are simply enchanting. Although the house itself is quite small, it has (almost) everything you need for a short stay. I especially appreciated the good shower, strong wifi, and comfortable mattresses. Best of all was the fantastic roofed terrace where I spent many hours relaxing, even when it was raining, after long days working on photo shoots. A few small additions would make this place even better: Hooks for towels: There was literally nowhere to hang towels in the bathroom or bedroom. Cleaning supplies: A broom and dustpan would be helpful for a quick clean. Clothes drying rack: A place to dry clothes indoors would be very useful. Matches: We couldn't get the oven to light with the provided sparking lighter, so matches would be a good addition.

Francisco was an excellent host! He was very communicative and we appreciated his local recommendations, especially to visit the celebration in Madalena. The house was fantastic and we enjoyed the view from outside where we ate all of our meals and relaxed when not out exploring Pico. I would highly recommend that anyone stay here, and we will do the same the next time we are visiting Pico.

Beatriz's home is an incredibly peaceful retreat that was still really accessible to Sao Roque and many other Pico Island adventures. This stay was one of a kind, and made our trip to Pico really special. We were warmly greated with a helpful tour of the property, local treats, and instantly blown away by the view from the home. The porch and lawn area provided many hours of relaxing outdoor time, with stunning views. We enjoyed the privacy and being surrounded by nature. The home was also a good fit for our toddler. Beatriz's home had all of the amenities needed, including a well-stocked kitchen and bath/laundry. Beatriz was a warm, helpful, and very responsive host - providing many local recommendations that helped us enjoy our time in the area. We cannot wait to be back, and will definitely seek to stay at this home again! Thank you for your warmth and sharing your home with us!

The house is lovely and secluded, at nighttime you can hear the local birds (cory shearwaters) outside your window. The closest bigger supermarket is located in Lajes do Pico, approx. 15min drive. The local pool is within walking distance and it's free of charge! Like most public pools on the Azores it's a sea water pool. Most of the main attractions are located along the West coast of the island, so you will definitely need a car. We found the host Steffi super friendly and helpful! Thank you

Wow. Just...wow. A beautiful, home in an absolutely stunning setting. Everything felt new and clean with modern but inviting architecture. The view from the kitchen/living room/balcony is gorgeous and peaceful. The pool is lovely and just steps away. The place was immaculate and Cleide, who manages the property, is absolutely lovely and extremely helpful. The house is a few minutes walk or drive to natural pools, outdoor natural pools, and a small but very cute market for groceries. Every morning, Cleide left us a box of fresh pastries and cheese and meat for breakfast. We loved this property and would highly recommend it to anyone who wants to take a deep breath and maybe do some dolphin and whale watching :)

I did not stay at this particular property, because upon my arrival the water heater broke down, so Salvador hosted me at his another property next to this house which was simply super-amazing and felt literally like home because it was stocked with everything you can imagine. I can say that Salvador is super-responsive host and that it's a very good location, with an amazing view of the sea and the Sao Jorge island. The house is located in a real Pico village, without any of the tourist staff but with all the amenities within 10 minutes by car. Highly recommended!

This was the best place I’ve ever stayed!! The island is already breathtaking but the location of the home, the view, and the pool made our experience on Pico even better. Ana and Benedita have been super accommodating and allowed me to change the dates during the pandemic. I finally was able to visit after two years and it was well worth the wait! If you are on the fence you need to book this stay. They also own a couple restaurants on the island, i highly recommend going to Magma for a nice meal overlooking the ocean!
