Host and caretaker were amazingly amicable and approachable. The property is more than what you will expect. The solitude of the place is truly worthwhile along with the pristine beach. This is also a perfect place if you are chasing sunset spot.

The beach property was cozy and private. A perfect place for spending time with friends and family. The host was accommodating and responsive.

This is the only request of my hubby for our Cebu trip and He enjoyed skating all day while me chilling to our room. The place is super relaxing and great place to unwind. Aside from the skatecamp, the place is front of the beach and you can view sunset from there. The caretakers are very accommodating specially Kuya Mio.There’s no signage of Palaboy Skate Camp at the gate but you can check it on waze and asked the locals when you reached the pinned location. The place is also 45-60 mins away from Hagnaya port if you are planning to go Bantayan Island. There’s no fast food on the area but you can ride a tricyle to Jollibee Bayan.

We loved the cozy and clean atmosphere of the place. It felt like a true home away from home. What truly made our experience exceptional, however, was the staff. They were incredibly approachable and accommodating, always ready to assist with a smile. Sir Jay made sure we had everything we needed. Highly recommend!

We had a wonderful stay in this comfortable room! The host's prompt confirmation of our booking was a lifesaver, especially during peak season when accommodations were scarce. We were relieved to have found this place, and it exceeded our expectations. The host is super approachable. Ai and the staff were extremely helpful and flexible when my partner and I were delayed a day checking in. The Resort is breathtaking and no matter the time, the staff are always in an amazingly vibrant mood. Without a doubt, the next time I’m visiting, this is where I will book the accommodation. We were that impressed the first day, we booked a second week in the Ocean Villa. Thank you Ai and Staff for an amazing stay!

Le meilleur endroit que j’aî’connu aux Philippines. J’ai adoré Tout est pensé pour que l’on s’y sente bien J’étais seul,j’ai donc pu profiter pleinement de tout le complexe. Les Philippines est un pays très bruyant, dans cette place j’ai enfin pu trouver le calme. La formule avec les huttes était géniale, comme du camping amélioré. Sanitaire propre, tout pour faire la cuisine et prendre son petit dej, des chaises longue, transat ……..on peut se mettre où on vêt, au bord de la mer dans le,jardin il y en a pour tous les goûts. l’ovation de scooter pas cher Enfin Alexis Pasir est très sympa et discret. J’ai adoré et je recommande pour une expérience authentique et sentir la,bise sous la toile. Merci pour tout

We had an awesome stay in Matahom Paradise Villas. Went there with the whole family and occupied 2 villas. The whole family loved it - the private pool, the beach, the watersports, the boodle. Ai was very accommodating and responsive. The staffs were excellent too. Will definitely recommend this to everyone. ‘Til our next stay.

Fantastic location next to the sea with a beautiful garden to relax in. The room is very comfortable with fan and AC and there’s a fully-equipped kitchen for cooking meals. Motorcycles are available to rent for a very reasonable price and Lucy is a very helpful host and very kindly gave me a lift to the port after checking out.

Thank you Bob and Cheryl for the short but memorable stay! ... your hospitality along with your knowledge of the island, did not go unnoticed, the property is beautiful as described.. truly a tropical escape.. the cottage was very comfortable, clean and roomy with a lot of storage, so I didn't feel like we were living out of a suitcase.. We can't wait to come back for a more lengthy stay with you the next time we are on Bantayan Island ❤️

This place is amazing! Best place to stay and relax, with the private beach being just a few steps from the appartment. Or you can chill outside on the private terrace and still have a few of the sea. The appartment itself had everything we needed. A nice bedroom with a comfortable bed, a kitchen with a little oven and stove, a livingroom with a big sofa and a terrace with a big table and two beds to chill on (this is where we spent most of our time). There were also mosquito nets on every window. And there is no safety deposit box but there is also absolutely no need for it. The place is very safe and the house is never left alone! The owners Ruth and Wolfgang are veeerry welcoming and such friendly people. They organized a pickup from the port directly to their place! They also help us rent a motorbike and we even got a special price for it :) One evening some friends came over for a BBQ and we also go invited and were treated just like friends as well! We also fell in love with the two dogs that live there with Ruth and Wolfgang. They are very friendly. They even came swimming with us, which was so cute! Me and my boyfriend would DEFINITELY recommend this place for anyone looking for a peaceful stay in Paradise! We loved it here and would return for sure!

Jean our host was so kind enough to allow us check in late because I had work until 5pm and we arrived there almost 10pm. She was also very considerate for allowing my partner's relatives to come visit (they did no sleep there) and to allow some of the other guests to smoke (only outside). The kitchen is complete with cooking utensils and made our travel pretty much easier due to we do not have to bring cooking tools because Jean's place offers it already. The rooms and bathrooms were clean. Plus, the private beach was just at the back of the house which is very convenient. My family enjoyed the prestine sea water of daan bantayan. This trip is one of the best trips that I experienced. My family did enjoyed it as much as I do. and, I am so thankful to maam Jean who's very attentive and responsive whenever I have inquiries. She's the best! Me and my family will surely be back ❤️

Overall our stay was outstanding. This place is a bit far from the busy tourist area but very secluded, peaceful, and quiet. Exactly what we wanted. Just 10-15 min trike ride to the main area for restaurants, beaches and bars. Ocean front but cannot speak to the quality of the beach front as Mother Nature did not cooperate so it was too rough for us to enjoy. It was a blessing in disguise because we slept with windows open with fresh air wind coming through and sound of crashing waves. We found awesome beach spots elsewhere. House is so nice and appropriately furnished. Most of all Rechelle is a great host and the best we’ve had. Never had a host respond so quickly to ALL my messages. Was there at check in to show us around and the cold coconuts were a nice touch to our arrival. It’s a short walk from gate down a dirt pathway but trike drivers were helpful to carry our luggage. Only suggestion would be to have a golf cart or ATV or something like that to transport luggage..

Such an amazing place to stay. Well equipped big modern home that is in a great location and across from a beach. Host was very accommodating and extremely nice. Overall a great experience and will surely return.
