This charming cabin in Gwinn was the perfect spot for our fall getaway! The location was super convenient, allowing us to easily explore nearby Marquette while still enjoying the peace and quiet of the lakeside. Waking up to the stunning lake view each morning was a highlight, and the beautiful fall colors surrounding the area made the experience even more magical. The cabin had everything we needed to feel right at home, making our stay comfortable and stress-free. We couldn’t have asked for a better place to unwind and enjoy the beauty of the season!

We found such a gem. This place was only 15-20 min from Northern Michigan University, easy drive. Beautiful location surrounded by trees. Nice comfy couch, beds, and nice big screen TV with streaming services. We used the natural wood burning fireplace, which was so nice because we got a lot of snow. Kitchen was fully stocked. Tons of seating. The hosts are super friendly. Our daughter played in the snow outside, we got to enjoy the dog sledding, and also took a nice snowy hike. Would definitely stay again.

The cabin is charming and perfect for a private getaway. We loved being surrounded by nature, right on the water and the ability to pop into the sauna to warm up. The kitchen had everything we needed, and the grill was so nice to have. If you’re looking for a peaceful, quiet getaway this cabin is perfect.

This is a fantastic place to stay if you are looking for privacy, peacefulness, nature and relaxation. The inside is warm and cozy with lots of personal touches. We have been extremely busy and traveling a lot. This was a fantastic way to end our weeks of traveling. Thank you Polly and Dennis for having such a welcoming place to rest our heads. We will definitely try to come back again.

If you're going through a tough divorce and the world seems like it's crumbling around you, have I got the place for you. Admittedly, I clicked "reserve" immediately when I saw the sauna, but the lack of a kitchen doesn't really matter when there are so many amazing restaurants nearby and you have the sauna to come home to. Beautiful hiking on the property, Joy and her husband are gracious hosts, and if they'd have me, I will definitely be booking again. Oh and did I mention the sauna?

The place is set right in the middle of Marquette, but is still surrounded by woods. It felt amazing and they personalized our stay which was very special. Beautiful place to stay.

Great place to stay. Peaceful location while still not being too far away from driving into Marquette. Lots of hikes around the area. The cozy living room fireplace made the stay perfect and warm during the chilly days.

Peaceful lodging on on small lake with the Fall leaves on full display. The hosts were very communicative and gladly adjusted our dates slightly when I requested we change our weekend reservation. Caught some October bass on the peaceful lake Sunday morning as the sun came up. While the accommodations were rustic, the place was very clean and comfortable. The description is accurate and perfectly suited our needs. Met the host, Terry, on the way out and he is a great guy. Truly enjoyed our stay.
