We had such fun fishing off the expansive dock. We caught numerous catfish. Unfortunately it was too windy to do much kayaking but we got out there once. The kids enjoyed the pool. We caught the food truck festival and the kiddos enjoyed the gaming place across from Walmart. it also has go-karts and putt-putt. The house was a perfect beach house and very comfortably fit my family of 5, with room for more.

This place was fantastic. quiet and peaceful, and not a ton of road traffic. The house was well kept and had all the furnishings for cooking, enjoying the bay, or simply hanging in the garage with friends having some drinks. Very kid and pet friendly (we didn't bring our dogs but after seeing the well fenced property and pet friendly set up we regretted not bringing them.) The family that owns it has all the things you need to enjoy your stay which is very kind of them to share. Our 2 boys loved the ping pong, darts and shuffle board. Hopefully people respect the items and property in years to come as this is an amazing amenity for them to share. Overall, the property is great, well kept and we would absolutely stay again!

Had a great stay at Howdy Bay! The host was extremely responsive to any concerns. The location was great for fishing, home was beautiful inside… very clean and smelled great! They even provided things that often times get forgotten like toiletries and pantry items for cooking. The deck and fish cleaning station were very handy since we came down to do some bay fishing. We will definitely be back! 5 stars all the way around. Wonderful place to stay… highly recommended.

Five stars all around! The hosts have put tremendous effort into this property. No place is that more clear than their extensive guidebook upon your arrival. The hosts are extremely responsive and helpful. They will give you the space you need, but if you need anything, they will respond quickly. The neighborhood in Holiday Beach is quiet and private. Nobody’s gonna be there unless they are staying there or already living there. The view of the bay and the canals are wonderful. The property seems far away from Rockport, but it isn’t. You can be in Rockport and all it has to offer in 10 minutes at the most. An added bonus for us was being close to the Our Lady of Schoenstatt Shrine. The shrine is a very peaceful and prayerful place. Highly recommend visiting. Please note, the neighborhood’s quiet and peaceful nature disappears on New Year’s Eve. 🤣 Also, you must be able to handle stairs to stay here. Thanks to Michael and his wife for a wonderful stay!

It was very breathtaking very beautiful. The fishing piers were awesome. The swimming pool is great nice and quiet, peaceful we will definitely be going back to fish out there again.

This is a great home to get away from it all! It has great wifi. Its very quiet and peaceful. You can walk around the neighborhood freely with hardly any traffic to worry about. Martha and her husband are beyond nice and actively help make your stay everything you want it to be! The house has everything you could possibly need to live there. I highly recommend this place!

This home is a true gem-spacious, beautifully designed, and brimming with comfort! The beds are incredibly soft, making it the perfect retreat after a day of adventure. Our mini-vacation was elevated to new heights thanks to the inviting atmosphere that made my family and I feel right at home. The house is a haven for pets, especially with it's expensive yard that offers plenty of space for them to run and play. There's even a charming little table and cozy couch area where we can kick back and relax while the guys enjoyed some fishing time. John, the host, went above and beyond-his prompt and thoughtful responses made our stay stress-free and enjoyable. We're already looking forward to returning for more unforgettable moments away from home! Thanks John for your hospitality!!
