This place was very relaxing surrounded by nature, every morning and evening we saw deers right outside our window, the kids loved it! The lake is within walking distance and it is great for fishing or kayaking. We didn’t get to use the studio because it was only four of us, but it is a great extra room fully equipped with a kitchenette for larger groups. Our boys loved playing in the basketball and tennis courts, having these amenities was such a big plus for us! Jennifer was a great hostess she was flexible and very responsive. The only thing I would say is that the outdoor furniture could use a bit of TLC. We fully recommend this place and will try to be back soon.

So much room! Wonderful kitchen to cook Thanksgiving dinner. Be prepared to bring your own paper products and anything you’ll need for cooking beyond salt and pepper. Wonderful dishes, mugs and glassware. We enjoyed the screened in porch and the big dock for fishing and getting in and out of our kayaks. The yard is nice and big and the fire pot was enjoyable. The garage apartment worked perfectly for our overnight guests. We can’t wait to go back!!

location was peaceful and the neighbors were not intrusive or disruptive. The house was well kept and accommodating, we felt very relaxed. Kind host, and even left a birthday message and a bottle of wine for us to enjoy. really enjoyed staying here.

Family goes to a different lake every year for New Years. This one doesn’t disappoint as they provide plenty for group to do as far as games and out door space. They also are very well stocked! While we visit in the winter, I imagine this would be a great summer place as well.

Emily’s place is one the best vacation homes I’ve ever been to. The view is absolutely beautiful. The house is perfect. You can see the lake and hear the waves in every room. I loved the room with all the sliding glass doors. The breeze that came through was awesome. I could stay for weeks. We plan on going back and taking our families next time

Thanks for providing such a beautiful and homey place! Lots of things in the house are carefully selected and the bed linen/towels smell good. My family and friends loved the house and we enjoyed using the kayaks. The house is pet friendly, our dog had great time as well. I especially like the glasses in the kitchen. No wonder why there are lines like not taking things away in check-out instruction. Don’t give me ideas…I do recommend this house to other travelers.

We had an amazing time with family over the Thanksgiving holiday. The house was spacious and had tons of extras and fun things to do. We never got bored. We prepared a full Thanksgiving meal in the kitchen, which was large and stocked with everything we needed and more. There were plenty of toys, games, and scooters for the little ones. They enjoyed a boat ride and rode their bikes around the circular neighborhood road. We even met some neighbors who invited our boys to jump on their trampoline and loaned us a cup of sugar. The area is quiet and safe. Inside the property, once the driveway gate is closed, we had total privacy and lots and lots of space to run around. The kids loved taking scraps to the chickens and collecting eggs for breakfast. The adults loved the spectacular view and that the kids were always occupied. We had kids ranging from 9 months to 7 years old. Alise is the definition of a super host. She always responded quickly, kindly, and had great advice.

We enjoyed our stay so much. Talisa was very kind and always responsive. The house was very homie and clean. I loved the thoughtful baskets of products incase we forgot something. Everything we needed was there.

This was our first family vacation, and it was awesome! The place was just as described, and it was very very comfortable. The price, last minute booking, was very reasonable. The family loved the location and waking up with the water view was amazing. We all loved it. The neighbors were all around but kept to themselves. Not a complain but there were lots of cobwebs but with so many trees, it's a given. All in all, I would definitely reserve again. Already looking forward to next summer. Thank you for the hospitality. We truly enjoyed ourselves and the experience.
