this amazing place has wonderous views. you get an amazing sight of Arenal volcano and the sunrise and sunsets are gorgeous. words cannot describe how amazing this place is. Kembly was attentive and gave us privacy. she provided several recommendations in the area of what to do as well. Fuimos en familia por dos noches pero me hubiera encantado ir por más tiempo! El lugar es precioso, mucho mejor de lo que muestran las fotos, la casa es muy amplia y bonita, el rancho de actividades y la piscina también! Los jardines son mágicos y en general en el lugar se respira paz y conexión con la naturaleza!

Our stay was incredible! This is definitely the house to stay at if you are visiting Monteverde. This little house fit our family of 4 perfectly, although we spent most of our time sitting on the balcony enjoying the views. The house is located perfectly to give you some peace while still being only a 15 minute drive from the city. Albita was very responsive to all my questions and was able to give us recommendations on what to do in Monteverde. Make sure to use the address Albita sends you so you can find the house! If you stay here, you absolutely must go to Lluvias de Gloria cafe! This was recommended to us by Albita and it is a family-owned farm only 10 min from the house. They gave us a tour of the entire farm with coffee and fruit tastings. We also went back to eat there several times at their cafe. This was the best thing we did on our entire Costa Rica trip!!

El lugar tiene una vista espectacular, ideal para familias grandes y la casa es muy accesible para silla de ruedas. Hay mucho espacio en toda la propiedad y la limpieza de la casa espectacular. La cocina tenia todo lo necesario para cocinar. No hay supermercados cerca por lo que es recomendable hacer compras antes de llegar al lugar. Definitivamente volvería.

Una casa preciosa, con maderas y chimenea que la hacen muy acogedora. Tienen amplios espacios, comedores y las habitaciones bien distribuidas. Se ubica cerca del centro y tiene espacios alrededor naturales muy bonitos.

The pictures of this place don’t do it justice, the views are spectacular! This property is perched on a mountain with great outdoor space to sit, and with a restaurant in walking distance that offers good food, cocktails and a really nice staff. We pretty much ate breakfast and dinner there almost every day. There’s also another restaurant at the bottom of the hill, along with a general store for snacks, beer, etc. It’s conveniently located near zip lining, hanging bridges and the Arenal National Park. If you want to add some time by the pool, you can buy day passes at The Springs Resort & Spa. We hiked and did jungle excursions in the mornings and hung out by the hot springs and pools in the afternoons. The only thing that I would have changed is that I would have liked to stay longer.

Samantha's house was a perfect home with quick access to Monteverde by car. It was extremely spacious with a den and a living room space. The weather is very cool in Monteverde so the lack of any AC was no issue whatsoever. This would be perfect for a larger group. The home was owned (built?) by a local artist whose art was throughout the home. The wildlife was right outside the door, we saw monkeys and three toucans right off the back porch. Internet access was fast (Starlink) and consistent.

We had an excellent stay here while in Monteverde. The views were unbeatable, and everything in the unit itself well maintained! Yami was an excellent host, very responsive and always ready to give recommendations. It was a very tranquil getaway, would certainly come back!

We (family of five + grandparents) had a lovely stay at Casa Valentina. It’s far enough away from the main town Santa Elena to feel you’re in the forest, but close enough to enjoy restaurants etc when you want to go out. Very close to all kinds of activities like ziplining, nature walks and waterfalls. Kids loved the room with the ‘secret’ attic-bedroom. The house is well maintained and well equipped. The driveway is a bit steep but we did fine without a 4x4. Definitely recommend for a group or large family looking for a tranquil mountain getaway.

This place was amazing, the outdoor living area with pool and shower were spectacular. I would live here if possible! The river in the back yard with a little swimming hole was amazing as well! 10/10!!!!

We had a fantastic stay at the property. It was beautifully kept, clean, and in a peaceful location outside of the main town. The hosts were very communicative and helpful, making our whole stay very easy. Would highly recommend staying here!

Gabriela’s place is just as described. We had a wonderful stay and loved watching the hummingbirds and butterflies from the porch, whether from the comfy rocking chairs or the jacuzzi! There were also some horses and a cow in the next property who came by to say hello! The volcano at Arenal is an impressive sight. The location is super convenient to La Fortuna which has lots of restaurants, bars and shops. Gabriela was very responsive and kind and provided tons of useful recommendations and suggestions. Highly recommended!
