Stunning property, very comfortable beds, pristine clean. There is no kitchen or microwave, the only kitchen equipment available are drinking glasses, they provided us with what we needed. The property is very centrally located to a number of activities around.

Great location! Clean, comfortable rooms. Ours had a balcony which was nice. Great views of volcano. Lots of restaurants in walkable area. Parking was not an issue. Staff were friendly and helpful. Air conditioner worked great (it actually got too cold!) which was nice after a humid hike. Water pressure was good and good hot water. Relatively quiet, there is a lounge restaurant across the street with live music most nights and it can be bit loud but they stop at 10pm - it was not an issue at all for us - the parrots in the park across the way can be loud at sunrise :) but we loved it. There is a great bakery half a block away, and the pizza at the corner restaurant was good (thin crust but good). Really a good stay and would come again!

The Hotel Arte Natura was a wonderful place to relax and rest my head between adventures in La Fortuna. The staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming and their interaction felt warm and personalized. Both the room and Common areas were immaculately clean and tastefully decorated with original art and high attention to detail. The room was even nicer than in the photos and the courtyard/ pool area was lovely :) I was offered a complimentary breakfast daily (which is usually not included at the air bnb price) and it was fresh and delicious. The entire experience felt like boutique luxury. I also thought the location was great as it was close to the edge of town with all of the hot springs and I could easily get to where I needed to be by uber. I became ill on my last day and they were flexible with a late check out so that I could go straight to my new hotel, which was highly appreciated. I highly recommend staying at the Arte Natura Hotel and cannot wait until I can visit again!

Joanne and Simon are fantastic hosts. The hotel is very cosy, and the room we stayed in had a very comfortable bed. The hosts provided us with good local recommendations (for both food and activities). The breakfast included was lovely, and we saw Toucans from the terrace. Would stay again and would strongly recommend.

We loved staying at Casa del Rio. We travelled with our 4 year old son, and found this spot to be very private, serene and peaceful. There is a beautiful pool and hot tub. The water slide was too dangerous and fast for our use, but saw others using it. Our room and bed was very comfortable. We felt like we were in the middle of the rain forest and being able to hear the river was amazing. The staff were probably the best part of the stay. Always friendly, always ready to help. Could use some breakfast variety, but otherwise we really enjoyed our stay.

Burbi Lake Lodge has beautiful chalets overlooking a small lake. There is a forest area & lookout within the grounds. The place is beautifully presented & maintained & the staff are friendly & helpful. It is some distance from the park but there is a great pizza place not faraway & Sky trek ziplining is also relatively close.

Abie’s place was just as described in a beautiful and serene location! The beds were comfortable and the patio was so peaceful to hang out at. The hotel staff was amazing and so attentive to our family! They were extremely hospitable! The amenities offered were great!
