This is our second stay at Lila's amazing property. We love it and are already planning our third trip! Hot tips for this place: it is rural. Get a good 4x4 to get here. It makes the trip so much smoother. Land Cruiser Prados are the way to go. I would not recommend cheaping out on the 4wd. I'd also suggest a Costa Rica eSIM for your cell phone. Coverage is spotty, at best. The beach is INSANE. If you do get here, and see its beauty, please keep it a secret! :) Lila's place is perfect. It has everything you need, and a bit more. It is truly an oasis. Lila is a wonderful communicator. Despite you feeling like you are at the end of the world, she's always there to help, and her local team are amazing. They show up and take care of anything immediately. Download a roadmap on your phone. Trust the local restaurants (El Barco and San Miguel are amazing). This area is sensational, and Lila makes it comfy, safe, and so satisfying! Thank you again, Lila!

Our stay was absolutely wonderful! The property was peaceful, clean, and incredibly comfortable. Julio, our host, was exceptional—by far one of the best hosts we've had in Costa Rica. He was responsive, generous, and showed great hospitality. We would definitely stay here again in the future!

Daryl Is an amazing host who is kind and genuine. Being a first time traveler to Nosara, we truly had a great experience. Jade and Daryl are very responsive and the space is beautiful. Location is near the beach and shops. We hope to return and stay again.

La maison est superbe et très bien située à quelques minutes de la plage de Samara et Carillo, des épiceries et des restaurants. Les chambres sont spacieuses avec salles de bain privées. Seul petit bémol, le coq du voisin chante très tôt le matin et dans diverses situations...mais on s'habitue avec le temps. Galileo est très réactif ainsi que Sandra. Je recommande fortement cette maison. Nous y avons passé de bons moments.

El lugar es muy confortable y con bellas zonas verdes alrededor. Las habitaciones tienen A/C y ventiladores de techo. La piscina es fantástica y nos la pasamos muy bien. Jackie fue siempre muy amable y servicial para que nuestra instancia fuera muy agradable. La casa muy cómoda, limpia y ordenada. Dejamos olvidado un dinero en la caja fuerte y con gran prontitud nos transfirió el dinero a nuestra cuenta, demostrando gran honradez, excelente servicio y amabilidad. Hay buenos restaurantes cerca y supermercados locales. Fueron unas memorables vacaciones en familia.

Amazing stay in the jungle !!! Best sunset views from the roof top patio. Big open private space! Lots of room to relax by the pool, and listen to the Howler Monkeys, watch the lizards, and take in the jungle! Quick ride to the beach on a golf cart and many amazing restaurants close by. Us 5 loved this spot in Nosara!! It definitely has some bug friends indoors but that did not take away from the whole ambience.The cleaning twice a week was icing on the cake!!!

We had a fantastic and relaxing time in Samara. The house is very comfortable, with the best beds of our Costa Rica trip. The kitchen was well equipped, and everything was as described. The pool, while small, entertained the kids after a half day at the beach. Two things to note if you're going to book. 1) You may think it is walkable to Samara, and technically it is, but in the heat of the day it is not. 2) The public utility infrastructure of Samara is under strain, so expect blackouts and at certain times of the day a dribble of water pressure. This is a Costa Rica thing, not a house thing. We had a fantastic time.

We loved our stay! It was beautiful, clean, comfortable and well equipped. We enjoyed the pool a lot and were lucky enough to see howler monkeys and hummingbirds from the deck!

Le logement de Kevin est simple et fonctionnel. La climatisation et le wifi sont ok. Le lit est confortable. La route n’est pas loin mais le trafic est faible et ne nous a absolument pas dérangé. Mais c’est surtout le jardin avec ces différents lieux pour se poser ainsi que la piscine qui valent le détour!!! En fin de voyage, nous nous sommes même autorisés à y passer la quasi totalité d’une journée tant on y est bien!!! La vue et la piscine incitent à s’y poser, s’y reposer et simplement profiter. On s’y sent coupés du monde et dans une parenthèse de quiétude. C’est un vrai vrai coup de cœur pour cet endroit qui se suffit à lui seul. Kevin et sa famille sont discrets mais très réactifs aux demandes. Nous reviendrons avec un immense plaisir.

Great location on beautiful beach, the house is perfect for large groups/families and all comfort is present. Very friendly and helpful host and is ready for every question. The release of the turtles is definitely a must to do.

Casa Wendy was even better than expected. It is sooo.... nice and comfortable. We will look for this property every time we go to Samara!

We loved the private location and cabin feel of our stay. It was clean and had plenty of room. The location was very convenient. I easily walked to Bodhi Tree yoga center for a class everyday. The beach was a short walk also. The hosts were very responsive and helpful in arranging anything we needed.

La casa se encuentra inmersa en un pequeño bosque por lo que la calma y silencio son excelentes. Está equipada con todo lo que una persona necesita, además que la segunda habitación se puede usar como oficina o alojar a otra persona cómodamente. La ducha exterior es un gran aspecto, pues te puedes bañar sintiendote en el bosque.

We had an incredible stay at this beautiful place! It was walking distance to everything in Nosara, including the beach, shops and restaurants. We especially appreciated the easy distance to carry our surf boards to the beach. It was lovely to swim and lounge by the pool in the hot afternoons. The three separate buildings gave plenty of privacy for three couples. The kitchen was well-stocked for cooking and there was a lovely covered outdoor dining space. We would recommend staying here to everyone and would love to come back someday!

Vehiel was a great host. He was friendly and responsive. The place was very quiet and peaceful, down a short dirt road off the main road. In the morning, howler monkeys were howling from the hills. The beaches are a short drive away, and there is a grocery store right down the road. The kitchen met our needs, and the beds were very comfortable. Vehiel provided tour information and made sure we had everything we needed. We hope to return next year!

The accommodation is detached house and is a great place to stay if you are looking for a clean, private atmosphere. The facilities are top notch, they hardly show any wear. The beach (Playa Honda) is 3 mins walk. It is very calm, has black sand and beautiful palm trees surrounding. Apart from local fiahermen occassionally, it is not visited often. Enjoy the sunset of your life! Tidal waves can be very high and strong, but you can find the right time to swim there. The estuary of a clean river is nearby, offering a nice short hike (south from the house on the beach). The next beach tonthe North is Playa Junquillal is more frequented by people, and there are some facilities. Ideal vacation for a family with kids to enjoy the sea and plan a trip to other areas of Guanacaste. Mark, the host is available promptly, should there be any questions.

Our stay at Steven’s place was incredible. The place looks just as listed and is every bit as stunning. Steven was a very responsive host and was insightful about the area. The roads near the house are a little rough but totally worth it. I would highly recommend staying here.

Excelente lugar y vecindario, en una increíble ubicación, queda a menos de 1 kilómetro de Playa Carrillo la mejor playa del país. La casa super amplia, bonita, cómoda y equipada, la piscina es perfecta para refrescarse, el propietario es una persona realmente amigable y servicial, un lugar al que definitivamente y sin duda alguna volvería, muchas gracias!

Wir waren im April 2025 vier Nächte bei Natalia zu Gast wir hatten einen wahnsinnig schönen Aufenthalt. Das Haus ist super schön und hat alles was man braucht und mehr (Yoga-Platz, 2 Hängematten etc.). Zudem hat man das gesamte, so gut wie nicht einsehbare Grundstück für sich alleine. Alles in allem wirklich klasse und mit dem Auto nur ein Katzensprung bis in die City von Sámara.
